They had a $1 pile, meaning items they were willing to pay me one dollar for. And then they had a 10‑cent pile, meaning they were willing to pay me ten cents for certain items. Yes, ten cents. For 10/12 pieces, they offered me around $6.30. It was laughable. Actually laughable. So if you're looking to sell your items for dirt cheap, this is the place. On a lighter note, they did have a lot of nice things for sale; secondhand, some new, some designer, really great quality pieces at good prices. I got a really nice pair of green cargo pants for $12. I recommend for shopping NOT selling.

Most things are priced at $1.50 unless otherwise stated. This place is a knick-knack heaven. It's got so much merchandise and the store is very clean and organized. With that said, the one star comes in because of the very poor/racist customer service. My dad came here and bought a bunch of stuff the other day. One of the item, a knife sharpener was defective. The store's policy is No return and No exchanges and that's fine. But if things are defective, they need to take care of it. People are NOT paying money to buy things that will fall apart fresh out of the package. So my dad brought the item back to the store (the next day) and the manager was called out by the cashier. This young manager who appears from his demeanor to have just come from Japan came out to "help" my dad. He stared at the knife sharpener for a good 5 minutes, as if he didn't believe my dad. He asked my dad "How did you use this?" My dad responded, "I used it the way it's supposed to be used, there's instructions on the packaging." The manager continued to examine the knife sharpener. Ok Manager dude, this $1.50 piece of crap is defective. Just give my dad a refund and quit wasting his time. The POC (piece of crap) was purchased yesterday and fell apart from one use. You staring at this POC isnt going to give you more evidence on why this thing is a POC. Next comes the *Racist Remarks*. This Manager had the decency to look at my dad, who is Chinese by the way, and said "It's because it's Made In China" ... OK WTF? Are you going to be racist now when you store is at fault for selling defective products?? Seriously, wtf was that comment about and what does it have to do with your ability as the manager to fix the problem?? My dad responded: "That is not my problem. It obviously met the specs of your company. The item is defective, fix the problem." Finally after back and forth for nearly 30 freakin minutes, the incompetent Manager lets my dad exchange the item. RACIST, Big waste of time, Terrible customer service and Horrible way of handling problems. This is one star well deserved, Daiso. read more

The place is wonderful! I came here the first time with my friend and I was surprised with the amount of products they had! And its not just the huge amount of products, but they have all these different kind of products that can be really useful in daily life. Because of the excitement, I went around the store for more than an hour and ended up buying more than twenty things, including cosmetic products, cute socks, acrylic painting supplies, dessert cooking supplies, economic bags, a little pouch and some snacks. Still, with all of these, the price did not go no more than forty bucks! Had a fun time here! I will come back here again, maybe every week after work! read more

The place is awesome!!! Everything is $1.50 (unless stated) and this place has almost everything you need!! It has from cooking utensils,school supplies to even small clothe supplies likes socks and tights. It also has basic cosmetics such as eye liners, lip glosses and more (maybe a good place for girls :) ) After going around, there are snack areas near the registrar and of course, its all $1.50! I politely asked her if I can purchase one squishy they were guarding behind the counter. I was only pointing at which one and as I was leaning in to point, she rudely snapped and told me to "BACK OFF! "BACK UP!" Apparently I was too near the products that she was guarding behind the register. There was literally a gate/door that blocks the entire shelf, which I wouldn't be able to touch anyway. I was taken aback by it and startled. I found that to be completely rude, out of line, and very unnecessary. She thought I was trying to snatch them? I am a regular paying customer here. I don't know what kind of customers this store gets but I buy here all the time with no issues. The squishy products I know are popular with buyers, but I am not there to steal. When I was cashing out at a kiosk, no one came to help. The same rude female worker stood at the back and didn't say anything either. She was with another girl and they stood there gossiping and chit chatting and just both looked at me and turned around without saying anything. I spoke to the manager Claudia and as I was trying to speak, she was talking over me and I couldn't really get my point across. She was not a good listener. She was trying to rush me and get me off her back. The young workers that get hired here are incompetent, uneducated, and just lack customer service skills. Just young kids trying to collect minimal paycheck with minimal training. My suggestion in the future is proper training and how to politely speak with customers in a friendly manner. Just overall, manners in general, which their parents probably never taught. Because of this poor customer experience, now I am uncomfortable and not willing to step foot back into this business.

Items that are not tagged can be tricky. The cashier can charge you at any price on the spot and you wouldn't know unless you ask. What looks like a dollar can be more. Inflation and tariffs are definitely hurting the pocket. You also can't go back inside once you've paid. If you bought something already and checked out, you can't go back inside unless you leave your items up front. Maybe they've had issues with theft before or miscommunications with items. The cashier was friendly however, she was nice about it. Just strange practices but I get it, it's a small business and people probably steal here. EDIT: Came back here again shortly after. Cashier Julie was not nice and needs to be more friendly. Different cashier than the first one. She's a F!l!p!no lady. Kind of snooty and arrogant. Didn't smile nor said hello. When I spoke to her in Tagalog, she acted like she didn't hear me and responded back in English. The other guys that stock here are nice however.
