This store is amazing! It has little odds and ends and things you would never expect. It is very different from the other stores in this mall.Most of the merchandise is 1.50, and the most expensive item I found was a doll for 10.00. Of course, with a good store comes a good crowd. Everyone seems very impressed by this store. I personally found it pretty meh. A good chunk of the stuff in here can be had at one of the dollar store chains at a lower price. Besides the Japanese snacks I personally don't really see the big deal. I've been to other locations in the bay area and they had a wider selection, cooler stuff and better prices. A lot of shelves were empty and the stuff they did have wasn't anything exciting to me or the gf. We were excited when we heard a location was coming to Roseville too. read more

Came to the Galleria with friends, the one store I wanted to go to was Daiso. They closed 5 hours early though and I wasn't able to.

Great little place to get snacks and assorted goodies! Love the things they sell, and often they're priced for $1 or a little more. It is pretty dark and hot on the inside of the store though, but the employees are all very nice read more

Finally! Who doesn't like inexpensive snacks and trinkets from Japan? Super fun to shop items from a different culture. They have some fun unique items like decor for food and They sell snacks, stationary, office items, food containers, Make up, little toys, decor and hair accessories. Most things are $1.50. Fun! Quality will remain to be seen but they warn you nothing is returnable so that should say something. But really what are you expecting for $1.50? If you use a credit card you have to spend at least $10 but that really shouldn't be too hard. Finally something affordable in the mall. Haha read more

The worst customer service ever. My 11year old daughter picked out 3 items from the store and they were all $1.50. My daughter then decides that she does not want the pen so I tell the gentleman worker name Jude that I did not want the pen and I'm not sure why he did not comprehend what I did not want so at the end of the transaction he gives me the pen and this clay thing. I told Jude that he had the items I wanted mixed up. He charged me for the wrong item. I asked to talk to a store manager and Kimberly comes out and says that she can't do anything because no returns are possible. I tell her I'm not returning anything that I was charge for the wrong item. It's really not about the cost of the item, it's the principal that the associate knew he made the mistake and was willing to purchase the lip gloss but the associate/ acting manager said that she could not do anything because no manger was onsite to resolve the issue. read more

Like the dollar store? Love Diaso! Everything was $1.50 unless otherwise marked. I love the cute characters they had on their dish ware and bath towels. Nice looking lunch storage boxes, lunch bags, and household items ...each for $1.50. I just love seeing all of the Japanese snacks and listening to Japanese music- ranging from rap to hip disco ( spelling the word "fresh" numerous times ). Just found this place everything is made in Japan( some stuff from China) .I love it .Some stuff so cute and good quality you should buy bowl or chopsticks here .I bought alot from this place and I recommend it .I will comeback and will tell my friends about this place read more

I love the Daiso stores except this one. If you're claustrophobic then this store is not for you. Maybe they need to put arrows on the floor like IKEA so everyone goes in the same way and ends up at the registers. I also took my mom to the stores. She even said never again will she come to the Roseville Galleria. read more

I love this store! We have this back home in the Philippines and has more stuff to choose from. I am glad I che ked out this store last Sunday. This is the 99cent store of Japan. Their prices are $1.50 unless specified. Inexpensive but the quality is good. I chanced upon a foundation that I truly love it is an unknown btand but when you google it, reviews are excellent and I would add 5 stars to it. It's called Santees BB cream in a blue tube only $1.50 I will definitely go back to this place cos it's even better than the dollar store close to where I live. Japan made is of quality than China made products. Btw, items you buy are final sale, you can't return it. It's all good. read more

I love you Daiso I do but this store in the Roseville Galleria is an absolute and utter waste of space. They had plenty of paper plates that I could get at Safeway, yes, Paper Plates but none of the auto, phone or stationary accessories like all the other Daiso's carry. I am sorry but I don't want to go to Daiso in the Roseville Galleria in order to get Paper Plates. Why not utilize this space for more useful inventory?? read more

I absolutely LOVE this store! They have anything and everything you need! The reason I gave it for stars is because it gets really crowded really quick and the layout of the store makes it a little claustrophobic. read more

I love daiso! Now who doesn't? It's a cute place with cute gadgets for just $1.50! What a deal right? I love how this store has a variety of stuff ranging from kitchen utensils to school supplies to toys to baking supplies to kitchenware to you name it. Everything is so cute. If you wanna cute-ify your room or get something small for you bathroom/kitchen then you should come here! You'll be surprised at what you can find at a $1.50 store. I love coming here because you legit never know what cool things you'll find or things that you thought you didn't need but need :) I'm glad they finally opened a daiso in Roseville ! if you've never gone to a daiso store before... Omg it's like being in Japan again. So many fun affordable gifts and necessities to buy. All Japanese. Very friendly employees.

Uhhhhh. Soo. Everything is a buck and a half but the cashier keeps going to the display and I have picked the bigger ticket items. Small aisles jammed with a million people, kinda not worth the drive. Thinking of dollar store kinda looks better. Bought a very sharp sushi knife for almost nothing here. It cuts my salmon cleanly and still works today. They also have lot of other cool things that you probably don't need, but you'll get anyways because it's cool to have. Good thing is that you won't break the bank here. Go crazy people. read more

I was really excited to learn that there is finally a Daiso in this area! I'm a huge fan of Daiso and all their adorable and practical goods! It's been open for about two months now, but I only managed to go twice because it is really far from Sacramento and it's small and cramped compared to the other Daiso stores in the Bay Area. Sacramento has a lot of great locations with larger spaces in which Daiso can rent out. More people (like myself) would prefer a larger store in Sacramento because it'll be a closer drive (because most people live in Sacramento or Elk Grove) and there's much more things to buy. I would be there at least once every week! For now though, I still preferred driving an hour and a half to the large and spacious Daiso at El Cerrito than driving 45 minutes to this small Daiso at Roseville. read more

It's about time we got a Daiso in our area. There are so many little trinkets and sundries that I didn't even know I wanted until I stepped in here. Oh, and it's SO CHEAP! This Daiso location is just meh... it's much smaller and so crazy inside. I gaved it a one star and thats being nice. Worst experience of all the Daiso I've been to. The workers must be new to the work forced. They completely don't understand the meaning of customer service. I understand that everything was priced and varied in different range but I grabbed an item the had marked one dollar on it and there were two whole rows all marked with at least six different signs saying one dollars and when the cashier rung it up it was higher then the marked priced and they refuse to honor it. Even if it was not the correct price which isn't my fault that it was clearly marked for a buck they could and should have honored it then fix their pricing but no, they said they couldn't which is completely BS. The cashier even ask if i would like it for the higher priced. WtF? Hell no i don't! Horrible cashiers!!! It's the principal of the situation that got me really upset. I was looking forward to this Daiso but turned out to be a complete disappointment. The cashiers suck and need to have better customer service. Just be prepared to pay whatever the price is when they ring it up. Cause apparently what is marked doesn't matter and they "can't " change the price even if its their mistake. read more

I always loved going to Daiso in SF Japantown, and while this location is definitely not nearly as big as the one there, they still managed to fit many many items inside. I was pleasantly surprised with how many items they were able to fit in the store. My only gripe with this though, is that it makes all the aisles extra small so people are constantly getting in the way of each other...and sometimes there are lines in the store just to get through a certain aisle! But other than that, the staff is friendly, prices are great, and quite frankly I'm just glad that we finally have a Daiso in the Sacramento area at all!! read more
