So far I haven't had any issues at this location. Staff is usually on the floor and the cashiers are pretty quick. Everyone is helpful. Their store has a ton of selections. I usually find what I need here.

We love to shop at Daiso because they items from Japan from house items, school items, dishes and other items they sell including food, snack and drinks from Japan. My wife and I went to Torrance to shop then we went to a Daiso but we've surprised this Daiso have more product from Japan our Jaw just drop so many items.

Daiso's in America has the same cheap stuff as in Japan. But in America they have Japanese stuff with the some of the same stuff as Dollar tree. They are $1.50 to $1.75. Almost all of it is cheap chinese stuff and varies in quality. I only shop here sometimes. But it's fun.

I love all things kawaii and this store embodies that. I actually avoid coming here because I always leave with more than I came for. I look for one item and come out with an armful. It's fun to browse their latest stationary. I came recently looking for BT21 hand sanitizers which someone had posted on Twitter they found at their local Daiso. Sadly this location didn't have them but they had Tokidoki stickers which I love. Yes I grabbed some stickers, adorable alcohol wipes, washi, and tissue. There is also an extensive array of home goods ranging from mops, brooms, to dinner ware. You also shouldn't leave without checking out the snacks. Parking is a huge lot it shares with numerous other stores in the plaza but beware the drivers. I always get anxiety driving through because for some reason people are driving either way too fast or are backing out of their spots without checking their rear view mirror. Otherwise if you like Daiso then I really recommend this location

Cute and inexpensive Japanese stuff. They also have branded Disney, Tokidoki and Hello Kitty & Friends items too which I love. Everything is totally affordable and cute. They even have Japanese snacks and beverages. Score! This location is huge compared to the small location I've visited in Sawtelle area. So many options and great for small cute gift ideas.

this daiso is very spacious and clean in the inside. it's in a big plaza so there's plenty of parking spaces. i went in and saw tons of aisles filled with goodies. there's a cosmetic section, a stationary section, plushies, and more. i was specifically looking for anything miffy related but i don't think they had any in stock. there's cute sanrio items as well as bt21 stuff too! it's pretty affordable here, and the items are good quality. i loved looking at their sticker section, there's a ton to choose from. it wasn't crowded when i went in the afternoon, just a few people. the kitchen items and baking supplies also had me intrigued. i definitely want to purchase more items from here if i could. i only bought a small stationary notebook along with two sweet breads which came out to $5 as my total. the cashier was fine, nothing good but nothing bad. i think i prefer this daiso over any of the other ones in the area. it seems bigger and has more of a variety to choose from

I remember this location from back in the day was a movie theatre and then in the most recent years, a LA Fitness. I used to go to the gym here often and so it felt a little nostalgic walking in remembering when the gym got renovated. Now at Last Chance, it's been transformed into more of a giant warehouse of random things. Gone is the fresh paint and shiny gym mirrors and instead it's replaced with tables filled with random stuff. It is more like a giant garage sale and the whole place had a noticeable odor. The overall atmosphere also felt a bit uncomfortable for me personally due to the security presence. This spot wasn't the right fit for me, but for others they may have a different experience.

Review #877 2025-050…read more The Last Chance Store is a discount retailer that sells overstocked, returned, & discontinued merchandise from major retailers in bulk at deep discounts. If you enjoy spending time treasure-hunting to find bargains or the potential for designer/brand names, then this is the place to be. They acquire truckloads of goods from major retailers, including overstock, returns, & discontinued items, which may be opened, missing parts, &/or broken. You buy at your own risk because all sales are final, no exchanges or returns. Due to the ever changing inventory, each week is a unique opportunity to find deals with the best selections on Fridays... home goods, school supplies, electronics, clothing, books, etc. It's first-come, first-serve, & no holds bar in snagging that treasure. There's no rhyme or reason in the organization (it's severely lacking), so what you find one day in the bins may be totally different on the next (week) visit. Closed on Thursdays to restock, the items are supposedly all 1 price based on the shopping day with Friday being the most expensive, & Wednesday as the least expensive because it's the last day from the previous Thursday's inventory. Prices have gone up since opening 3 years ago except for Wednesday; starting at $10 (Saturday), $7, $5, $3, $2, $1 (Wednesday). 2025 Prices: Friday: $12 Saturday: $10 Sunday: $8 Monday: $6 Tuesday: $4 Wednesday: $1 I've been here a couple of times towards the end of the sales, & not everything is sold according to the sale day (e.g. Pokémon trading cards were stocked in the "VIP Section" were priced $10 instead of $1 on Wednesday). Items along the store's perimeter are also priced differently & usually higher than Friday's no matter the day of week. I've purchased some school supplies, hand soap, & other home essentials for $1 & $2. My husband has found name brand protein & granola bars, though I would be wary of edible items since it's unknown how they were stored. Luckily, my Wednesday visits weren't crazy crowded like the early days. Is the hype/hysteria over for bargain hunting? IDK ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ There's no customer service on the floor during my visits, other than a cashier by the exit. Can't say she was friendly, just rang up my items & handed me the receipt. I don't recall if there are shopping bags for purchase if you forgot to bring your own. It's not my thing. I may stop by every now & then, but I don't always leave with a purchase. Last Chance Store is aptly named for the treasure-hunting lovers... good luck!

I also bought some tan I AM GIA cargo pants that were super cute, and a pair of acid‑wash grayish‑black utility pants that I thought were really cool. Selling with them is super quick and easy. I've sold there about three times now. The store is organized, easy to navigate, and the prices are decent. They never have a lot of shoes in my size though; I'm an 8/8.5 in women's, and that section is always sparse. They always have tons of 9s, 10s, 5s, and 6s... The staff is always stylish and friendly. Definitely my go to when I want to switch out wardrobe pieces since they let you trade for store credit or take cash. This time I took cash, but usually I choose store credit because you get a little more.

Review #866 2025-038…read more I first discovered Grocery Outlet about a decade ago in Fresno, & was attracted to the unusual finds at a "grocery store," such as an Olaf bike helmet, Curious George: Discovery Beach Game, etc. The first S. Bay store opened 6 years ago in Redondo Beach, just before COVID-19; it's a bit out of way to shop there. And about a year ago, they took over the former Big Lots location in Lomita. What is Grocery Outlet? They're a discount grocery chain that sells name brand groceries & fresh produce for 40% - 70% less than conventional grocery stores. How? By buying overstocked, seasonal, closeout, & discontinued items from various suppliers. This "opportunistic buying" allows them to acquire items at significant discounts, which are passed on to us. My 14 YO daughter's swim team does this away meet "gift" (junk) exchange where they create a goody bag filled with their fav snacks & drinks. They're kids so it's obviously junk foods & sodas, except for the handful who treat each meet with consideration of this bag o' treats may hinder their performance. I'm grateful for the less expensive options at Grocery Outlet. Since I don't agree with their choices, I started creating my own carbo-load sustenance (fresh fruits, granola bars, nuts, etc.) on competition days. Grocery Outlet offer pretty great deals on fresh fruits, I especially loved the 2-lb. strawberry pack that my husband got recently... so fresh, juicy, & sweet! I got some red cherries (at $2.99/lb.) that were sweet too! Not all produce offer better quality & prices, I'd say it's more like 50-50. Another recent find was A-Sha Spicy Seaweed (only 99¢) & Keroppi Mandarin Noodles with Silly Spicy Sauce (60% discount). Store hours are 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM daily, just a couple hours shorter than the traditional stores. Wide aisles are well-stocked & organized, but you may not always find the same products at your next shopping trip due to opportunistic buying, & what may be priced that day may be priced differently the next day (e.g. Quaker Chewy Limited Edition Valentine Minis: Chocolate Chip with Sprinkles was 99¢, & 2 days later it was $3.99). Also, it's important to check the expiration dates for those too-good-to-be-true deals, they usually have a short expiration dates or are already expired. Yikes! There's usually only 1 register opened even when there's a line, I wish they would opened another register, but the cashiers are typically quick that sometimes I have to load my own bags.
