I call them and the gentleman that answered the phone filled me in on cake sizes, how many healthy portions for each size and prices. He said everything was being done curbside due to Covid so he said to just swing by and just give him a ring when I got there. He was very sweet and kind during our interaction. They did a fantastic job on our wedding cakes!! The bridal and groom's cakes both looked incredible and tasted even better. Michele had sketched it out for me and it came out just as we discussed. The cakes were moist and fillings were perfect and not too sweet. We were able to customize our bridal cake to where we added raspberry jam with Italian cream cake - unconventional but killer combo. They were also generous with the nuts in the Italian cream and everything tasted so fresh. I highly recommend and this will be our go to bakery from now on. It is with heavy heart that I have to move on from this bakery. I will start my review with the GOOD - The chocolate -raspberry cake is AMAZING. The strawberry cake is DELICIOUS. The margarita cake is OMG AWESOME! But there are few issues that I have had with the bakery. 1. I ordered two ¼-sheet cakes - One cake was a lemon cake; the other cake was the chocolate - peanut butter. When I arrived at the bakery to pick up the cakes, I noticed that both ¼-sheet cake had vanilla frosting. I asked the person at the register (Faith) why both cakes had the same frosting? She responded, "have you ordered from us before" I informed her that I had ordered before. Faith to the time to explaine that "you have to let us know exactly how you want the cake". I explained to Faith that this was my 3rd time ordering from the bakery, and it should have been brought to my attention that the cakes would have vanilla frosting unless another flavor is requested. In my mind Lemon cake = lemon frosting and chocolate-peanut butter cake = chocolate or peanut butter frosting, so I was a little confused as to why the baker would find it "yummy" to put vanilla frosting on a chocolate-peanut butter cake. I did ask that the frosting on the chocolate-peanut butter cake be changed to chocolate frosting. The lemon cake was very good, but I can only imagine how good the cake would have been with lemon frosting instead of vanilla. The chocolate-peanut butter cake was pretty much a good "chocolate cake", very little peanut butter. But who doesn't like chocolate cake. My issue and why I will not frequent the bakery anymore is the lady named Faith. Her customer service skills are terrible. I decided to order my cakes for Thanksgiving from the bakery. One ¼-sheet cake was to be a "peanut butter" cake with chocolate frosting (still chasing that peanut butter), the second ¼-sheet cake was a margarita cake. I ordered well in advance and I asked if the "peanut butter cake" would taste more like "peanut butter", as the chocolate-peanut butter did not have much of a peanut butter taste. Faith said she had to ask the baker, and seemed a little perplexed that I was asking for a "peanut butter" cake. I confirmed with Faith that "peanut butter" is still a cake flavor offered, as it was listed on the website. Anyway, Faith explained that the "peanut butter" cake was vanilla based with peanut butter, but the baker does make "peanut butter" cake. I placed my order and could hardly wait for the day I was able to pick up the cakes. Well, the margarita cake was FANTASTIC, but the "peanut butter" cake was basically the opposite of the chocolate-peanut butter cake. The "peanut butter cake" was basically a vanilla cake with peanut butter sort of like a marble cake with peanut butter instead of chocolate. The cake was very dense, which was weird because peanut butter usually makes the cake moist. Anyway, I felt I needed to share my critique of the "peanut butter" cake with the bakery, as a curtesy, before writing my review. Again, I had the pleasure of speaking with "Faith" (I must be so special or NOT). I explained that the cake was a vanilla cake and not a "peanut butter" cake. Long story short, Faith told me that I always had an issue with the cakes and that she would have the baker to contact me. I responded by telling her, that the statement was a complete "lie". I informed Faith that the Raspberry Chocolate, Strawberry, Lemon, and Margarita cakes were very good, and for her to say this to me was offensive and not true. Nonetheless I made the decision to no longer do business with the bakery and the "peanut butter" cake should be named vanilla-peanut butter. read more

This is the best personalized caked we have ever had. Michael was so kind and friendly when I went to order from them and Michelle is as talented as they come. She decorates with buttercream just as good as fondant and they won't recommend more to you than you need for your event. Not to mention how amazing their strawberry cake is! Ordered a bday cake, cupcakes and cookies and everything was delicious! The cake was strawberry, at the bday girl's request, so I ordered a variety of cupcakes. The cupcakes came with sprinkles to match the cake decor which I did not want and they refrosted all of them for me. The cake decoration was exactly what I wanted and every piece was eaten. This is honestly one of the best cakes I've had in a long time! The cake was so so moist, and the icing was the perfect amount of sweet. This is the kind of cake you need to keep in the refrigerator, which is usually something I don't like because it dries out cake. But this cake stayed literally just as moist almost a week later in the fridge as it was when we first cut into it. I was so pleasantly surprised. For my birthday this weekend, I decided last minute that I wanted a cake. Unfortunately, finding a mint chocolate cake is just about impossible in Dallas. Daisy Cakes, however, does just that! We texted the off-hours number early Friday morning, asking if there would be a mint chocolate chip cake available for today. We immediately got a response that once the baker was in, they would check if he had time to bake one. The owner (I assume) was very communicative with us to make sure that we got exactly the cake I wanted. When we went to pick it up, Michael was incredibly friendly and the cake was not only beautiful, but tasted SO good. Perfectly moist, with such well-balanced flavors. The buttercream was a tiny bit sweet for my taste, but I usually don't like buttercream at all. Fantastic cake and customer service, highly recommend! read more

Two disappointments. 1. I initially went here to experience the Daisy Cakes I saw on Shark Tank. This shop is not affiliated with that bakery, franchise or otherwise. 2. They close too early on Saturday, particularly if you are having an event on Saturday night and want your bakery goods same day fresh. The goods are quite tasty but I'm disappointed how few open hours of the store, particularly on the busiest event days of the wee (Saturday and Sunday). Convenience and customer service are important to me. No complaints on the bakery goods, however. read more

Spoke with faith on phone .. what took 6 mins should have taken 1 minute. She was slow, didn't want to listen. Said she was part owner. Her customer service skills is what killed the whole experience. She rambled on about tasting cake flavors and busy time of year etc .. when all I needed to order was a simple cake. Nothing extravagant at all! As I already had the cake topper printed out they barley did anything to the cake that took "time". Would I have changed a few things to make it look better yes. 1/5 for service , 2/5 cake turn out, and 2/5 flavor. Was nothing spectacular. When I cut in the cake it was put together with multiple pieces of cake "caked" with so much frosting holding the inner pieces together. How hard is it to make a rectangle cake? I thought these cakes were made to order???? That's what I was told on phone.. that was a LIE! I seen part of a circle cake in it and edges cut off from another cake stuck in there. Most likely won't return. Cupcake was dry as well. Was a disappointment all in all. All the good reviews and my experience was far from 5 star. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place!!!!!!!! First off, I was able to text the owner in the evening on a Friday, and she promptly got back to me first thing the next morning. I live about an hour outside of Dallas and all of the bakeries near within 45 minutes of me all had a 2-3 week lead time and were super EXPENSIVE! I was able to pick up my AWESOME cake the following Wednesday, and it was so PERFECT!!!! On top of it looking so great, it was so DELICIOUS too!
