Their attendants are habitually late at performing services but once, when my teenage daughter was just 8 minutes late, not only did they deny her service, they insisted that one of her services be deducted from her account. I had noticed in a previous post that someone put an image of a "Notice to Vacate" on the door of the business and it didn't surprise me at all - what goes around, comes around. It's pretty simple - the Golden Rule - treat people the way you want to be treated. Again, this "Bombshell" waxing incident was from 5 years ago on the northshore but I still remember it as though it was yesterday. Fortunately, I have not had to experience shockingly poor customer service at this level by any business. Just dreadful. Hopefully they have changed their policies and treat people as humans.

I did a little bit of digging before choosing to try out Mimi's, and this place is one of the cheapest permanent hair removal locations in the area. I had a 3 session package for underarm hair removal. She started with a lower intensity for safety reasons initially. I thought it had no effect, but the hairs fell out on their own after a few weeks, and I was surprised! The second and third sessions were with higher intensity, and you do feel a bit more during the treatment. The flashes of light hurt a tiny bit, but as most of us women know, it's like a mosquito bite compared to ripping out your hair with an epilator or wax strip! After 3 sessions, you really see the difference! Even after months of leaving it alone, I basically have no more hair growth in my armpits! There are a few stragglers that I could probably take care of with her touch-up appointments, but those stragglers are so fine and thin now, they're hardly noticeable.
