Great coffee, however, this is the second Sunday that we drove out of our way and they weren't open on time. Says 8:00 and today we were there at 8:15 and all locked up. Always a few people waiting and someone rushing up to unlock as we drive off. We like to support local businesses but would expect them to be open when they say they are, or just change hours later. Only local coffee place open Sunday mornings, but would imagine they are losing business for not being open on time. We won't be going back, which is a shame for such good coffee. read more

The two young ladies working Monday 2/3/2020 at closing were absolutely amazing! They were super accommodating and full of personality even though they close at 9:00 and we thought they closed at 10 and pulled up at 9:03. They didn't mind at all fixing our drink even though they were technically closed. They were willing to rewash their appliances just to fix our drink, and insisted it was not a problem even though we said we didn't want to put them out. That's customer service at its best!! I will now unleash my inner Coffee snob: I counted how long the shots took to pull... 6 seconds. Weak. Shots are supposed to take closer to 20 seconds to pull, so their espresso is weak. It's great for people who don't like strong coffee though! I'm also not a fan of Torani. On another occasion I went in and ordered soy (lactose intolerance) and my iced latte had floating bits of old soy in it. Gross. I should have had the chick who obviously didn't care about customer service remake my drink but I just went elsewhere. Their customer service could use some work as well... And the employees could use some longer skirts and look (and talk) a little more professional. read more

The 1st time I visited this location everything was so awesome! We're from Louisiana and don't have Dakota Coffee and my wife and I were amazed at the yummy drinks. We both agreed they were better than Starbucks. Every time we visit the area we visit a Dakota coffee. This is my 5th and last time at this location. They can be great with the quality ingredients they have but due to lack of training of the employees, they usually fall way short and we end up with disappointment in our expensive drinks. The consistency in quality is just not at this location. How can they mess up with a frozen drink made with a mix? ...just put in enough of the mix so it has flavor and doesn't look like pulverized dirty ice. Don't let this review scare you off from trying Dakota Coffee however, just try it at a different location. I've never been dissatisfied at the other locations. read more

Honestly, save your money. To me, the shop was unorganized and boring. The coffee is definately nothing special- my husband and I both only took a few sips of our drink and just couldn't finish. It's the best of the few options in town. The atmosphere looks like a coffee shop but that's about it. There's a TV. This makes zero sense to me. Who goes to a coffee shop to watch TV? Maybe it's for the baristas because I've never observed customers watching it, if it's even on. When it's off, all you hear is the ice cream refrigerator running. I suggest throwing out the TV and investing in some type of music appropriate to a coffee shop. The outdoor seating is an eclectic mix of glass table porch furniture (of which the chairs are falling apart) and the most uncomfortable wrought iron garbage. It looks like an afterthought. There's a sign that displays the flavor of the month/week/holiday. It's obtrusive to the one comfortably, decrepit table outside. Maybe someday someone will mount something to the wall or door instead. The indoor seating is cramped. A bar-height counter across the window and two less tables would be great. The baristas are friendly. I've been greeted with a smile every time I've come. There are a couple that talk like MTV teenagers. In a professional establishment the vocabulary should be broader than 27 words held together by the word "like". The coffee has always been good. I've played the 'feeling lucky' card a few times and let the girls surprise me with their own concoction. They've done great every time. The only issue I have is the temperature. I like my lattes hot, so if I don't chug my drink-it quickly matches room temperature. read more

Staff is very quick and courteous and it's an added bonus when you're in a hurry that they have a drive thru window. The shop is very comfortable, with a nice ambiance, as well as very toddler friendly! The only drawbacks I've experienced is with their chai. I love chai tea lattes, and the powder they use tends to not mix very well at times, there have been a few times I've taken a sip of my drink and a powder bubble burst causing me to have a chai flavored coughing fit. It's especially bad if get an iced drink, the powder goops to the sides of the glass and never seems to want to mix in no matter how many times you stir or shake. Liquid chai might be a better option. The mochas and lattes are pretty good, a little on the sweet side, I always make sure to tell them to half the sweetness and that seems to work most of the time. read more

Very friendly people, a clean and spacious atmosphere and trusty wi-fi. Coffee is OK, definitely not a third wave coffee shop. No pour-overs, Toddy, Chemex, etc. Just flavored coffee blends and several levels of roast. Basically a roast-our-own from circa 2000 style. read more

Just stopped in again for what will most likely be my last time through these parts. The latte tasted about the same as it used to. The place kicked up all sorts of nostalgic feelings for me. I love Dakota's. Most of the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They have outdoor seating (The only coffee shop in Enterprise that offers outdoor seating) and a drive thru (Also, the only coffee shop in Enterprise that offers a drive thru) They don't make you feel rushed to leave and the girls always have a stellar recommendation if you're willing to try something new. I've never had a bad experience with a drink or the service at Dakota's. I will say, however, that their baked goods are not baked in the store and definitely taste store bought. They once carried delicious homemade cakes, but no longer do. (Disappointing) Do not let this deter you from visiting though, the coffee and excellent customer service make up for it. read more

I absolutely LOVE working here! Now that we've gotten rid of a few bad apples the work environment is wonderful. We have great coffee that is roasted by our owner. Nice people, decent hours and atmosphere, but the coffee is always very stale, bland and served only in to-go cups.

First off, the employees are some of the most unenthusiastic people I've ever come across. Most of the time, they'll walk up to the counter and just stare at me, waiting for me to order. No "hello!" or "hi, what can I get for you today?"... they just stare. On one of my recent visits, I came through the drive-through and there was a young guy sitting on the counter and tickling one of the female employees. The employees continued to talk about personal issues to the girl taking my order, while she was talking to me and she would cut me off to turn around and laugh or add input. I apologize, but when I'm trying to get my coffee fix, I don't want to hear about a bunch of 16 year old girls' personal lives. I picked up an iced coffee on my last visit and it was bitter and I couldn't even drink it. Also, frozen chai latte doesn't taste like chai. I will probably keep coming here, since it's in a convenient location, has a drive-through and doesn't have super limited hours. read more
