We ordered the combination pho and the clay pot. $38. What a surprise! As experienced Vietnamese eaters of around the Country and the world. These 2 dishes were top notch and among the best we've ever had. The pho was delicious and we liked that there was only one price regardless of the meet choice. The clay pot was very good but became amazing when our server brought over the special hot sauce. We were blown away by this restaurant and the amazing service. While dining we overheard a lady tell the server that she had to search out this restaurant and come back due to her amazing experience on her last trip to Dallas. We hope to be back one day too! I rarely leave reviews but only upload pictures for restaurants, but I have to leave a review for this restaurant that I accidentally discovered. While going to a nearby LA Fitness, I saw this on the way because I did not eat a dinner yet. I saw a choice between this, Thai Street food next to it, but I decided to walk in here. The place was extremely small with not many tables, but I could find a seat close to the window side. What made me to give this perfect stars for this restaurant is how kind the owner was. He gave me a fresh bottle of Ozarka water, and he was really showing a fantastic service. And the food was great, too. I thought it was little expensive at $18 for a bowl of shrimp noodle, but it was enough portion. So, while I would not normally give this high ranking for a restaurant that is not super fancy, I have to make an exception because the owner's service really made a difference. read more

A friend recommended this place and the reviews were good so we went. I had the beef pho and my friend had the beef vermicelli. My pho was great! It was huge, I took about half home. The broth was flavorful and it had the normal accompanying vegetables. I didn't see the meat raw, it was all cooked in the broth but there was A LOT of meat. More than I expected, it was also flavorful and tender. I think it was $18 which is on the high end for pho but I did have leftovers and really enjoyed it! My friend also enjoyed his meal and had leftovers. They offered a complimentary ice cream and we accepted. It's a small container of Blue Bell, which was thoughtful and we enjoyed it. We also shared the shrimp spring rolls, the shrimp were large and it was delightful. The restaurant is small but they seem to do a lot of take out so there was plenty of seating. This place is amazing. I love this food. Since I found they were open again I can't tell you how many times I have been here. However, tonight was a bit frustrating. I called in my order for pick up. I gave him my order and asked for an extra soy sauce and an extra hot sauce. Yes, I love spicy foods. The gentleman repeated my order and said 2 soy sauce and 1 chili sauce. I said no, 2 soy sauce and 2 chili sauce. He repeated it again and said the same thing. I said again what I wanted. I know it is posted that extra sauces would be an extra charge and I was definitely fine with that. I get to the restaurant and get my food. He hands me my food and walks away saying 2 soy sauces and 1 chili sauce. That upset me because for a restaurant offering food that I am paying for you definitely will not tell me what you want me to have. In the future, if you offer something and I specifically order or request it DO NOT take it upon yourself to tell me what you want to give me and I am spending my hard earned money. I do understand this is something that is so silly to post about but If a customer spend their money on something they want please then please don't take it upon yourself to not give it to them because you said so. I tried this cozy place for the first time and was very impressed with the flavorful entrees and awesome customer service. The ambiance is more conducive for carry-out however there are a few places to sit and enjoy your food in the establishment. I ordered the Chicken Pho and the Tofu Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce, both were delicious the peanut sauce had a spicy kick which was a surprise but nothing unbearable. The chicken was tasty and not dry (huge plus) and the veggies for the pho were all fresh. I am excited to have found a great Vietnamese restaurant and plan to return so I can try more items on the menu. Next time I will be sure to take pictures and share. read more

This place is owned by the original owner of green papaya in oak lawn. It's the same recipes just a smaller menu with the most popular dishes from the original restaurant. The flat chicken noodle plate, spring rolls, peanut sauce and egg rolls are fantastic and authentic to the original green papaya. I highly recommend this restaurant for some authentic and delicious Vietnamese. This is to go style but you can sit at the bar at the front of the store and eat inside.
