Took the truck I bought from there for repair. Got it back didn't make it 10 miles before same issue came up. Was there for almost a month no loaner. Got it back same issue came up took it to another dealer who found their repair was done improperly now they refuse to pay for the repair they were paid for previously. If I could give no stars I would avoid at all costs customer service is horrible. read more

He refused to stand behind a Certified Used Buick serviced at his facility - claiming he doesn't have anything to do with GM - forcing me to go to court in order to get my money back.. Other than their salespeople, this place has the worst service! The women who answer the phones are horrible. When calling to set up, say, an oil change, they transfer you to "service" where nobody ever answers and you get a recording for which you sometimes cannot even leave a voicemail. Then if you call these women back to tell them that you need to make this appointment but nobody ever answers in the so-called service dept, the women who are hostile, rude, and totally unprofessional. read more

This is a great service dept. I used to use Konner in Bloomfield. The new owners would not honor my Chevy offer for running boards. Found out they let Santo go and he was at Dalessio. Went up to Booton. No problems at all with offer. They even had it done earlier than promised. It's well worth the trip for those who were used to the old Konner. DALESSIO IS THE WAY TO GO. My review concerns the service department as I have a 2005 LaSabre that I purchased used (out-of-state) and have been bringing it to Dalessio since 2010 to have it serviced. Luckily I have not had any major issues. I have had regular maintenance performed here and a few associated repairs. I am very pleased with the service that I get every time I bring my car in. They never try to oversell more services and the extras that have been suggested have been warranted and relevant for the age of the car. I plan on keeping my service business here until I upgrade to a new car, which will likely be another Buick. I gave them a 4-star rating as I have not had any dealings with the new car sales part of the business so I can't make any comments there to give a complete review. I don't like what I have read on the other reviews regarding the purchase of a new car from Dalessio, but that would not stop me from giving them due consideration when the time comes. I sure would love a new Rendezvous! I have had exceptional luck with GM vehicles over the years and would gravitate to them first. I try to buy American if possible. Our other vehicle is a Chrysler (which if you read my reviews you can see a whole different type of review for a local Chrysler dealer......it has nothing to do with the vehicle (love our Town & Country), just the dealer. We make our purchasing decisions based on the dealer as well as the vehicle....think about it, if all goes well, it is a long relationship. Should be an amicable one! read more

I Scheduled my car for a 12:30pm Service appointment, was told it would take 45 minutes, so i went to a restaurant next door. 45 minutes later I returned and my car was still sitting in the service lane, unmoved with the keys in it. My car is a 2014 Camaro and the fact that it wasn't stolen is just luck. Anyway Im then told that all the service techs went to lunch... even when I made my appointment a week prior. It then took 45 more minutes to for them to bring my car in and finish. $47 is what i was charged for something that is A: not that expensive (and I'm fine with paying OUT OF CONVENIENCE) B: Takes only 30 minutes to do. Suffice to say this was the second time i brought my car here to be serviced and since the first time took an hour and 15 minutes this will be my last time returning to Delessio Chevrolet. read more

I had purchased Buicks from this place before they became Dalessio and then one after. Prior to being Delessio they were good. Now they are horrible. Since they have been Dalessio we found them to be overpriced and their services poor. The last straw for us was that we bought a Rendezvous from them and used them for all of the service on the SUV and the transmisison went about about 60K even though we had complained while it was still in warranty that the tranmissions kept acting poorly. When it failed they were giving us no break and wanted thousands to fix it. I talked to the head of sales and they gave no support, and then when we complained to the head of their service department that a transmission should not fail at 60K miles and that our family had Honda's that were still going at 200K and never had any tranny issues, he simply said perhaps we should have purchased a Honda then..... So we fixed the Buick, sold it, and went out and bought a Honda. Never again with Delessio and we are done with GM also because of it. read more

I have been a customer of Dalessio for over 10 years. I've never bought a car from this dealership, but I've been bringing my company's fleet cars for service over this time. So I cannot speak for their sales department's capabilities, but I can't speak enough about their service department. Just today I asked Vince if I could make an appointment for a free car that I was considering to purchase for my company. I was concerned about the transmission. He looked up my account, my car VIN and recommended to me that I should not worry so much about the transmission due to the warranty that was still in place. He offered to check the fluid on a service call, But told me that there was probably nothing wrong with the transmission, otherwise I would've been seeing Dashboard warning lights indicating a problem. He also offered that if I stopped by that he would take a drive with me to see if he sensed what I was sensing. That's the sign of a service department that thinks of their customer as a long-term agreement not a short-term deal. I told him I could not waste his time to take him on his offer, but if I purchase the car I know exactly where I will be taking it for service. Regrettably I do not recall the persons name that works with him, I believe it is Jim, but he and Vince are truly exceptional Service Managers. I truly appreciate their honesty over the years and specifically the help they provide to me today I would withoutwood with a question recommend anyone to work with Dalessio. If you get a good deal on the sale...you will get great service from Vince and his team! read more

Last Thursday my husband and I visited the dealership to check out a pre-owned vehicle advertised online about 12:00 pm. While we appreciated not having several salespeople pounce upon us upon immediately entering the showroom, we had quite the opposite experience as no one seemed interested in assisting us. The receptionist made several calls and finally found salesperson John Lee to show us the vehicle. Our bad impression continued as he had the wrong key to the vehicle, and the car wouldn't start when he offered a test drive and had to be jump-started. He offered to have the battery checked, and proceeded to mention that we would love the excellent air conditioning in the car. My husband test drove the vehicle with him about 2 miles and the air conditioning never got cool. The car handled well, however, so we left the dealership with the understanding he would have the air unit and battery checked, as well as research whether the dealership would be willing to replace a worn rear tire. If all three issues were resolved, we were very interested in making the purchase. Typically, a dealership salesperson will follow up quickly eager to make a sale. We did not hear back from him that day nor the following morning. We left messages late Thursday and Friday morning which were not returned, so proceeded to call for a manager. Chris called back Friday and apologized stating John left about 3pm due to a family matter and likely didn't get our messages. He advised the car was being looked at in the shop and would get back to us. Things appeared to be back on track until Steve the finance manager called about a half hour later to ask if he could assist. My husband recounted the story of events to which Steve replied that the vehicle had been sold Friday morning "as is" and was no longer available. Having been told several conflicting stories by various members of the dealership, only to find the vehicle was supposedly then sold is extremely disappointing to say the least. Steve had no answers as to why we were told the vehicle was in the shop to address the issues we requested to be looked at. Customer service and satisfaction is certainly not a goal here as well as never in our conversation did Steve or a manager inquire as to our specific interests in a pre-owned vehicle to offer some alternative choices- a pretty basic quality in excellent salesmanship as well. Perhaps the entire experience was a blessing as had we made the purchase, we can only imagine how poor the follow up would be if we had any issues with the vehicle. Took our business elsewhere and purchased a vehicle where we were treated with honesty,,respect, fair pricing, and attentiveness. read more

This criticism is based on the Service Dept. Delessio fixed a steering problem in my car under warranty. They then told me two other parts were seriously broken, my water pump and a vibration dampener. I was told they should be repaired immediately and they could do it NOW. I was somewhat suspicious as the car had just been to MY mechanic prior and they said nothing about this. He found the steering problem and sent me to the dealer because it was under warranty/recall. I declined to have them fix the problem and took the car back to my mechanic. He Cleaned off the pump and ran the car on a lift for 2 hours. He did not see a leak. Furthermore he said the vibration dampener was fine and that though they replaced some of the components of the steering, the part that he saw leaking originally was not replaced and is still leaking. I tend to believe my mechanic. He 1. Could have just done the original repair but sent me away because of the warranty 2. He could have just agreed with the dealer and repaired the 2 new problems.
