We purchased a car from on March 26, 2026, and today is May 20, 2026. Since purchasing the vehicle, we have experienced extremely disappointing customer service. Just a few days after purchasing the car, we realized that the second key provided to us was not even for the vehicle we purchased. We have contacted the dealership and management numerous times trying to get the correct key issue resolved but have gotten nowhere. Every time we call, we are told that the manager is busy and will call us back. Unfortunately, no one ever returns our calls or provides any answers. It has now been almost two months of repeated attempts with no resolution. We are not asking for anything unreasonable -- we simply want the correct second key for the car we purchased. The lack of communication, follow-up, and customer service has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. We expected much better treatment after making such a significant purchase. read more

Terrible! Had an appointment to view an in stock Honda CRV. Arrived at dealer and the car couldn't be located. Had received several texts confirming the appointment. After searching and checking with the Manager it was determined that the Service Manager had taken the car home for the weekend. I had traveled 70 miles to make the sale. Asked if Service Manager could return with the car was told "it was a holiday weekend and he could be anywhere, hence can't bring car back". The Customer Service Rep who made the appointment was inept and there was no communication between the Sales and Service Department. Definitely would not go back there. I scheduled an appointment to install GM radiator guards on my new Z06. On GMs site there is install pricing of $350. I ask to confirm pricing to make sure I didn't get a large bill after. They ask for my vin and part number which I provided and they were supposed to email me a quote. They confirmed they received my email but didn't send the quote. I stopped in and they said they will match the price from GM. I dropped the car off Monday morning and they sent me confirmation of the $350. Later that day I get a call that I would be $1077 labor to install the radiator guards. I told them not to touch the car. They waisted my time. Very dishonest way of doing business. Guess they figured it was there and I would just have them do it anyway. Took it to Neilson Chevys body shop and they did it for the advertised GM price of $350. Horrible, BUYER BEWARE!! I purchased a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox on 12/3/21 from Paul Miller Chevrolet in West Caldwell with 6,328 miles on it for my company. The salesman mentioned it was practically a new car. We drove the car and placed around 65K miles on it, when the engine failed on us. Their mechanic tried to blame us saying we used the wrong oil, but of course that's not written anywhere on the bill and no photos of the engine were provided even though we asked for it. Anyway the engine was supposedly fixed under warranty, but we had to bring it back immediately on 2 separate occasions since we were still having problems with it. These guys didn't want to fixed it and wanted to charge us for repairing the problems. I finally had enough and took it to another Chevy dealer who is currently working on car. They are saying they are finding major problems with the engine and have taken the engine apart again. Don't buy or repair your cars here. We are currently seeking legal advise with regards to the NJ Lemon Law. read more

Disclaimer: we did not end up leasing a car from this dealership This review is on their sales customer experience: My family went twice and on the second visit (I came) we waited 20min to talk to the sales rep we previously worked with, who then told us to wait and he would help us. In between finalizing another buyers transaction he kept asking us questions and we explained the price range we would be comfortable with to move ahead and sign. We asked that he try to work on getting us closer to the number and he asked that we continue to wait. Already we were at 40min. In total, almost and hour and 15min later and nothing, they would not work with us to meet us closer to our price (and it was not an unfair price point we were looking for) and made us wait all this time. We didn't even sit at the sales persons desk, which comes to show how seriously they took us. Had they worked with us and didn't make us wait so long to only tell us the same thing, I would have liked to have returned for my next family car for myself but that will not be the case. The wait time was inconsiderate since we had a little one with us and they continued to make us wait. That's a bad sales experience and I would not recommend them to colleagues, friends or connections in the future. read more

January 2, 2024 with 116, 772 miles I took my daughters 2014 Chevy Equinox to Paul Miler Chevy in West Caldwell for an oil change. Their oil change includes a multi point inspection. The car was running great until about April 10th (with 118,508 miles) when all of a sudden it seemed to not be shifting in and out of gear, error lights came on and the back up camera stopped working. It was all tied to the transmission. We brought it to Paul Miller Chevy in West Caldwell immediately and were told the transmission was shot. Their actual words were the fluid was dirty and burnt and for $7300 they could replace the transmission ($7750 w/ tax). When I questioned how that could happen so quickly the service technician said it happens with the age and miles of the car. Not a good endorsement for Chevy & I know from personal experience if maintained (which this car is impeccably maintained) they can go well over 200k miles. My complaint is when looking back through the car records and the Paul Miller Multi-Point inspection from January 2, 2024 it indicated they check the fluids including transmission and there is a green check mark indicating it is good. I have spoken to mechanics and been told that i not possible in such a short mount of time & miles. I have to assume in January the multi point inspection was not completed in its entirety & wonder what else was skipped. We relied on the Service Dept. to be honest and accurate. If there was an issue in January we could have addressed it and possible saved my daughter thousands. I am writing this review so others do not get hit with avoidable expenses as we did. I feel if Paul Miller had actually done the work they claimed the issue could have been avoided or at least dealt with before going as far as it did. Transmission fluid does not go bad over night! I plan to also address my problems with the President of Paul Miller and that dealerships Manager. read more

I leased my truck here when this was Ott Miller Chevy and I was SO happy with the service at the time. Everyone from sales, finance, service... all so nice and incredibly helpful. The first several times I had my truck serviced was still as Ott Miller, always thorough and wonderful to deal with. Then it changed to Paul Miller and went COMPLETELY downhill. This place is a hot mess now. I took my truck in MULTIPLE times for regular service, not once did they mention brakes or tires until it was something I had to do immediately because they weren't safe. Needless to say I took the truck elsewhere after that. I wasn't giving their service center another dollar of my money. For two months they called me RELENTLESSLY about my lease return. Several times a week, every time I told them I'm not interested in ordering a new car and you don't have any used ones that fit my needs. Told them my needs and they said they'd call me back if they got something. They called me back dozens of times, but never with what I needed, always the same "it's still really hard to get new cars so you should come in and order yours now"... "I'm not interested in ordering a new car". Are you not capable of making notes about your customers... stop harassing me!!! Now that my lease is due back next week though... trying to get someone on the phone who can actually answer a questions is like banging my head on the wall. When I call the phone rings at least 6 times before anyone answers. Then its always someone who needs to transfer you to someone else who needs to transfer you to someone else. Then they finally call me back but I'm in a meeting so I can't answer and they don't leave a message so I don't know who to ask for when I call them back so I'll go through the run around again. I love my truck but I cannot WAIT to be rid of this dealership. Never again. Even if I was buying a new Chevy, it wouldn't be from here. read more

I can only comment on my interaction with the parts department. Buddy Halfpenny was great. He treated me like an old friend and important customer. They not only honored their rock bottom price they quoted on the phone that was more than $50 cheaper than the other area dealer but when it came time to pay it was even less. I've never purchased or leased a car from Konner, but I've been leasing Chevys in general since 2011 and have had some good experiences here. First, the service department was able to take me at the very last minute for an emergency service on a very busy holiday weekend when I really needed my car. At first, they weren't sure they'd be able to help because they already had so many appointments, but they came through for me! Second, I went here earlier this week to see if I could get out of my lease before I move out of state. I'm only about halfway through my current lease, so I knew it would probably be a bad idea to try. However, I wanted to explore my options. I walked into the showroom without an appointment and met with Ed. After I explained to him my situation, I knew I could trust him. For sure there are salespeople who would have tried to get me out of my lease and sell me a new car. However, Ed spoke to me as if I were his daughter, and he advised me to stay in my car until closer to the end of my lease, given my particular situation. I could tell he understood my concerns and questions, and he assured me that it was the best decision for me. I walked out of the dealership feeling calm. Usually car dealerships make me feel frazzled! If I ever need service or sales in the future, and I'm still in the area, I will definitely go to Konner! read more

Purchased my car in June from Weddy at Konner Chevrolet. The sales experience was wonderful! I still can't believe that there is such a thing as a pleasant sales experience, but here it was. Now, I have been in for service twice -- once for a routine oil change and, most recently, for a nail in my tire. On both occasions, the service was performed within a reasonable amount of time. The service advisors are pleasant to deal with on the phone. They greet you when you walk in. This is the first dealership I've been to where the employees actually seem to like their jobs, which makes the whole experience that much more pleasant. This review is for the service department. Worst service department I have encountered! No communication! Not willing to help! Very bad customer service. Long story short. I had to send my working van on Monday because it needs an oil change, and I also asked them to check the van because one of the emergency light is on. They got back to me saying one of the sensor needs a replacement, the sensor will arrive and get done on Wednesday. I had receive a phone call on Wednesday morning and told me the van will be ready in noon. That is the last thing I heard from them. I stopped the shop on Thursday Friday and Saturday trying to pick up my van, no one there is able to find my key. I called the next Monday to the service guy to see what is going on. he said the part was never delivered to them, but he will receive it today or tomorrow and replace it. It is my working van, and it has been there for one week, so I ask them to finish it up ASAP as I really need the van back. The next day, the service guy called me saying that part was not there, we can come to pick up the van. First at all it is my working van, I would really appreciate if someone can give me a head up when the van needs to stay there longer than it was told to be. If someone can communicate to me that the part won't be in next few days, I can at least take my van, do my work, and send it back whenever the part come in. But they don't communicate, just let the van setting there. Second at all, when I told them I need the van back, they are not trying to help, they just let the van setting there one more day and told me to take it back. Please avoid this service department, find a better one! read more

I wish I could give ZERO STARS! Absolutely disgusting what these people did to my brother! Here is my husband's (who is a mechanic) review: Absolutely the worst service department, and mechanics have no mechanical experience at all. The service manager joe, went out of his way to not take any fault for his mechanics mistakes. They did an oil change on my brother in-laws car and stripped the oil pan and bolt. The oil leaked out while he was driving on the parkway and then engine started making noise. He towed it back to Ott Miller and the service manager (joe) said it's not their fault. And said they would change the oil and see what happens. Then they called up saying. The noise was coming from the turbo. But wait they just happen to find out that there was a hidden warranty that was added to the car 3 months before. So they replaced it. Still didn't fix the problem. Then they said it was the direct injection fuel pump on the motor. They replaced it. Didn't fix the problem. Then they said oh it's ac compressor, but they weren't going to replace that for free so it would be 800 and some odd dollar job. My brother in-law said no and brought it to my shop which is way out of his way. I took a look at it and that clearly wasn't the issue. The noise is indeed coming from the cylinder head. Worn out parts from lack of oil... Joe has said that they fixed the stripped oil pan bolt. Well my brother in-law brought his car to my shop for an oil change and when I pulled the drain bolt, I found that the bolt was not replace nor the threads fixed in the oil pan. They didn't even replace the half rubber half metal o-ring. They just wrapped the bolt in Teflon tape and tightened it down. And it was still leaking. This is absolutely ridiculous. They should all be fired and the company should go back to the original owner (Konner Chevrolet) they were the best dealer. Unfortunately not anymore. They have lost my business and I'm going to make sure that everyone I know will never buy a car from there or have there car worked on there. read more

Our experience was good at first. We were taken right back to the I think managers office and he was very helpful. He showed us cars that would work between our price range right down to the color and mileage we needed . Then the rest. Our salesman rushed the process but it somehow still took hours. Before we even had a bank to finance the car and a apr that we approved of, he called the insurance company and set up our insurance. We didn't even test drive the car yet. After that, we ended up getting the car. We were very happy at first. We live in pa so we needed to get the plates sent to us. After weeks of waiting, we called and they told us that it was on hold because they didn't spell my name right and didn't have the correct address. No one felt the need to contact me to resolve this issue. That was the first issue. Then they tell us that there's just dirt on the brakes, and that is why they seem bad. Now a month later, and they still suck. Then my key fob broke after a few days. And worst of all, they took advantage of someone who's young and somehow wiggled in an extended warranty and made my car cost way more. Will never go out of state ever again for a car. Gather a round and let me tell you a true story. The story of when I recently took my car to Konner Chevrolet for a recent tuneup/break repair. I left my car at the Konner parking lot overnight bin with detailed instructions on what I thought was wrong with it. Called a taxi to take me to the hotel in Fairfield that was close by. A ten-fifteen minute ride away. Fast forward to later on that evening; the cab would be getting to my hotel to pick me up quite late and maybe mess up my getting the car back that night. Lo and behold I called Konner and the gentlemen on the phone said no problem.., I know the hotel your in. I'll come and get you. It was Dean Konner. The owner. He came and got me on a Saturday evening. And drove me back to the dealership. Needless to say I was blown away. Who does that?? Where they do that at?? At Konner Chevy that's where and it's a nice clean dealership with people who you know that knows the product they sell. And they do a damn fine job on my car. I live in Brooklyn, NY but I have no problem driving out to West Caldwell to get my car repaired by Konner I trust my car to a dealership that's been around since 1919. Yes. Almost a century. I purchased an used 2013 infinite G37 they lied about service record from Paublo and the manager Carlos for my fiancee's in December of 2018. The tire pressure warning is still on Paublo promised to fix the light. We took it took to them first time in early January they had the car for a week stated the back tires were both and they replaced them both and reset the light without checking the sensors. We took it back the second time they reset it again, then the 3rd was when the transmission when bad just 2 weeks ago in late January. I was told the car had a brand new transmission at the time of purchase however I found out from STS that transmission was not new and it had to be replaced. We took it back to Chevy to replace the transmission and have the light removed. They repaired the transmission had the car for 2 weeks and still decided not to change the defective sensors as promised by Carlos. They call my girl yesterday and tried to give her the run around about replacing the sensors stating they would have marked up the price if they had serviced it properly, read more
