GO TO DALIA DIAMONDS! They now have me as a customer for life. When my fiancée was in town in April for her birthday, we went to 47th Street , looking for engagement ring settings for us. 47th Street is an intense place, a bazaar-like atmosphere with some men on the street trying to coerce you into their stores - it felt a little like Morocco. I don't respond well to pressure and just kept walking. We stopped to look in Dalia Diamonds' window. A very polite man very gently said, "Please come in. We will show you whatever you like." I told him we definitely weren't buying today and he said that was fine, come in anyway. So we did. An AMAZING experience! Again - we were not buying THAT DAY and I already owned the stones. We only needed 2 settings. Sharon and Brian treated us as though we were representing the Queen of England and shopping for the Crown Jewels! We sat at a counter and after asking if we saw anything we liked in the many trays in the case below, took out the ones that had rings in which we had shown interest. Once she got an idea of our tastes, she made suggestions - and some very good ones, I might add. NOT ONCE did she try to push anything on either one of us, nor did we feel rushed in any way. We picked out a few things that would interest us if we came back, she wrote the numbers on a card and we took the cards with us. Almost 7 weeks later, last week, I decided it was really time to get our rings. She was in town for my birthday and we went on an expedition to a few malls. Nothing special caught our eyes. On Monday, My friend Michael who has been in the jewelry industry since forever, went with me to several other 47th Street vendors and then he and I came back to Dalia Diamonds. Again, Sharon was warm, friendly and beyond patient. We looked and looked and looked at so many different settings, found one that I loved for me, another that I wanted to think about and a third that Michael thought would be great for my finance. Again, she wrote the numbers on a card. When we left, Michael said that he liked the quality and the prices were excellent. I told my fiancée what Michael and I found and when I hung up, I called Sharon and told her to please have the settings ready for us for Thursday afternoon around 3pm. My experience at Dilia's was unforgettable. My boyfriend and I decided to go engagement ring shopping back in April. We've been together for 8 years an decided getting married was the next big step and we were more than ready. The only issue was I didn't know what kind of engagement ring I wanted. We then saw the different styles, color, and sizes of diamonds and once the diamond was put on my setting my heart stopped. I was not expecting to fall in love with a ring that day. I thought I would just look around and weigh my option but I fell in love at first sight. Shortly after my boyfriend and Natalia spoke about finances and a ring was purchased. I do not know how much was paid but the price must have been good if my boyfriend decided to buy right then and there. A few months later we went back to buy our wedding bands and immediately Natalia recognized us. She treated us with the same warmth she did when we first went to Dalias and again, we walked out extremely happy. I will say that I am so thankful for them. The first time my husband and I met Brian was about 18 months ago. My husband wanted to buy a new diamond ring for me as a 40th wedding anniversary present. Brian is true to his word, trustworthy and basically amazing! My fiancee and I came in before our wedding to reset my engagement ring. When it came time to set the ring the result was not what I had hoped for as the halo setting did not sit flush against the stone as I had envisioned. Brian let me know he could fix it but it would take time to reset. I was getting married in 2 weeks, and really wanted the ring to be finished in time, so I took it to a close jewler friend who did the best he could but literally ruined the ring by adding platinum to the space around the setting. Sheepishly I went back to confess what I had done with my bridezilla brain to Brian and he was so kind and offered to expedite fixing it. I was so nervous the stone would be switched or I wouldn't have the ring in time but Brian is a man of his word and actually delivered. Okay so I've been meaning to write this for almost a month now but since there has been a lot of wedding planning/holidays..I'm only getting to it now! I met Brian a few years ago while shopping for some diamond earrings. I recently had a minor problem with a loose stud on my earrings. I called Brian , was told to send the earrings to him and he promptly repaired, polished, replaced a backing and returned my earrings to me in record time. I was impressed with his work and asked him to repair some favorite gold posts that I had purchased somewhere else. I had a hard time finding a jeweler in my area to do the repair properly and quite frankly, had almost given up on wearing my hoops again. However, he repaired them for a nominal charge and returned them to me in better condition than I sent them. I have to say this about Brian. He had his work cut out for him. I am particular about what I want and how I want it. I purchased a ring and realized I wasn't happy with it. He took it back and made a custom model of the setting for me not only once but twice. He listened and followed through with what I fancied the ring would look like and came through for me. He communicated through text quickly, openly and transparently. This was alot if back and forth of pictures and sketches. She was super nice, not pushy at all, VERY patient, and just overall helped to take the stress out of something that was very difficult before I went into this shop. My fiance and I walked into Dalia Diamonds to try and find an engagement ring that I liked a day before I was due to fly home to the UK. To cut a very long and indecisive short, Brian was fantastic. He made up my beautiful fancy yellow diamond ring within the hour.
