My friend recommended me to do wax with Dalia and since then, I only do it with her. First I though she only did wax, so the first time I went there she introduced me to her spa, I feel in love with it, very very clean, nice and relaxing light, good smell, good and relaxing songs, and a few information about skincare. So my first time at Dalia's was last year in the summer I went to do a Brazilian wax, after we talked a little bit she notice that my skin was pretty dry and she asked me if I do something to take care of my skin and I said no, I never did and I don't use anything on my skin but That I was looking for something that wasn't aggressive and expensive. So we started talking about the product that she works with on her clients for the facial , I got really excited with all of her explanation on How important is to take care of the skin and how to use the products. On my first day there I bought a cleansing for my face and a cream to hydrate which I kept using it until now when I bought my second one, I also started to notice that it was going so fast, so than I realized that my husband was using the product! I went there for my first ever facial and it was amazing , 1 hour with relaxing song, massage and low light, I fell asleep. I definitely recommend her services! read more

I am not one to write reviews usually, but I feel this is one is necessary. I went to dalia's salon after reading all the great reviews about her. I have to admit that she is a very nice lady, but being nice and knowing how to do your job is completely different. I went for my first Brazilian ever and have been scarred for life. The wax was completely cold and chunky. When she applied the wax it was really chunky so when she ripped it off- it was extremely painful. I got a really big bruise which still hasn't gone away. On top of that she was on the phone the entire time and said that if her other client comes- she has to take care of her first and I have to wait- yeah- because I don't have other things to do- that's why I scheduled an appt. She refused to finish the wax so I had to go to another salon to get it done. They finished it for me and it did not hurt that much. The next day I broke out and had pimples- so now I'm also wondering about the hygiene levels. This is definitely not a place for first time Brazilian waxes. I haven't gone anywhere else since my first session with Dalia; she has the most personable personality, and she's fantastic at what she does. I get Brazilians at least once a month: I was so nervous the first time from not only for the obvious, but because my skin is highly sensitive.. And I didn't know if I would have an allergic reaction. Anyway, I will admit, it's not the best feeling. It will hurt.. but it will be worth it! Dalia knows exactly what she's doing- she gets it done efficiently and quick. In addition to that, she has total privacy. I don't want to walk out of a shopping center.. Had a great facial with Dalia today. She took time to ask me about my current skin routine and then got to work. She personalizes every facial for your individual needs. My face was cleansed and exfoliated, and then I received steam and extractions. We finished with a mask, massage, and toner and moisturizer. My skin was a little red from the extractions but no big deal at all- my pores were thoroughly cleansed! Afterwards, she told me about the best way to take care of my skin at home- but she did not pressure me to buy anything (I did though, because her analysis and recommendations were spot on!) Finally have found a comfortable place to receive wax treatments. Atmosphere is calm and low key. Dalia was informative and efficient without being overly priced! I have been to several salons in the metro D.C. area and have payed way too much. I also have sensitive skin and usually I have a reaction immediately the next day - but thank goodness there is no rash at all. I went to Dalia's for my first facial ever. I really enjoyed it! Dalia is super sweet. I left with my skin feeling super soft and clean. I felt so fresh and new. Dalia knows what she is doing! I bought some skin care products (cleanser and moisturizer) and love the results. I love how light the moisturizer is because I hate the oily stuff. The price is reasonable. I've been getting facials from Dalia for years. Her home clinic is welcoming and comfortable. She's spot on with skincare advice, and I appreciate that she's not pushy about selling product.
