This place is a hidden gem of a food truck. Located in the BeeHive food truck park, Dahlia's really does Mexican food well. Fresh ingredients, great salsa, amazing flavor. I've eaten here many times. Street tacos, burrito bowl, taco salad, and my favorite go to, the giant chicken burrito. For only $9.00, this massive burrito is one of the best I've ever had. It is huge though. There is a mini version for $5.00. It's worth it! Timing is a little bit of an issue. So, be prepared to wait for food when it's busy. read more

Wow. This food truck has amazingly delicious food! The homemade tacos are made with freshly made corn tortillas that are awesome. I would suggest them over the street tacos which had store bought tortillas. Only a 50c difference. I've been here twice now. Both times I had to have the adobado pork homemade taco which has a effectively spicy kick to it. I suggest paring it with the avocado salsa. The tacos are full of meat making two tacos a satisfying meal. Order three if your a big eater or really hungry! The carne asada and carnitas were also tried in the two visits and everything was top notch for sure. Dalia is the truck stop to make at this fun little food truck village. I always thought of Marcos as the gold standard for tacos around these parts, but this little taco truck in South Salem is the new king. Their street tacos are $1.75 each, so they're a little on the spendy side, but they pack them with SO MUCH meat that they're a great value. And that meat is so flavorful. I particularly recommend the carnitas; deep flavor and wonderful texture and taste. They do them with the 2 of the small tortillas, which I love, and they even crisp them up a bit. SO GOOD. They also have tacos with their homemade tortillas. These are a little more expensive but also a little bigger. You get more filling but only the single tortilla, and it's not crisped up. I personally prefer the regular ones. They also do a mean Mexi-salad, with meat of choice, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and a yummy avacado-y dressing. Service is adequate and fairly quick. I've tried this cart 3x, hoping next time will be better but it's not. Last time extra cost add ons werent there, this time I only asked for mild sauce, nothing extra, and no sauce. Another item on the menu that I love is the Sopes. These are thick handmade tortilla with refried beans, meat, lettuce, cotija cheese that tase so good. Yummy! As far as street tacos go, this seems to be a pretty good place. I got the combo box because it was my first time and I wanted a bit of everything. I was in the mood for street food and this really helped the craving. In the box is a street taco, mini quesadilla, and mini burrito. Very filling. Also a bit greasy but that was probably just my choice of meat. I also didn't really care for the burrito, there wasn't much in it. But the taco and quesadilla were great! It's very hit or miss these days which makes me sad because they used to be great. No consistency. Incorrect order or missing items. South Salem is a taco desert compared to the north side. Comparative rankings can be unfair. Tacos el Machin in Albany is a sit-down restaurant with caramelized onions, pickled red onions, sliced radishes and limes, and four very distinguished homemade salsas. Food trucks, with their constricted workspaces, are a different animal. It's pretty remarkable that they often---successfully---offer a general Mexican menu. read more
