Our friends referred us to David Keilson. the night before and suggested we give him a call. We reached out the next morning, asked if he had a GX 550 available, and from there, everything moved seamlessly. When we arrived, David greeted us, had the vehicle ready, handed us the keys, and simply said, "Take it for a drive." We had visited two other dealerships prior to this, and not one of them offered that level of trust or ease with a test drive. After our drive, David took the time to ask about our experience and walked us through the benefits of purchasing from Sewell. Before leaving, David and Jan also walked us through the technology in the vehicle, making sure we felt comfortable and confident with all the features. Since our purchase, we've returned for car washes, and both David and Jan have made a point to say hello and check in to ensure we're still happy with everything. We've had the best experience and will absolutely be back to work with David and the team at Sewell again.

I originally came in specifically for a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that was advertised online as CPO. After arriving at the dealership, I was informed the vehicle was actually not certified and only had around 500 miles remaining on the factory warranty. Despite that, the pricing remained consistent with what would typically be expected for a certified vehicle, and I was then encouraged to purchase an additional $3,000 extended warranty instead. As a buyer, that was extremely disappointing and felt misleading. On top of that, several promises made during the sales process were not properly followed through on, including the tint request. Communication throughout the process was poor, and expectations were not clearly managed. The vehicle also was not thoroughly detailed before delivery, as I am still finding personal belongings and food debris from the previous owner under the seats and floor mats. I want to be clear that my frustration is more with the dealership process than with any one individual employee. However, attention to detail, transparency, and follow-through are exactly why customers choose Sewell and pay Sewell-level prices. While I did end up getting the car I wanted I came in expecting exceptional service and a true Certified Pre-Owned buying experience, and unfortunately left with neither.

Had it towed to the dealer, Nick was able to check me in quickly and get me all the infos I needed. Best communication, best service, best all around type of assistance I can ask for. Told me he was going to let me know within a couple of days of any new info which he did. I was able to get my car back less than a week. If you need something from the service department, ASK FOR NICK.

They said they checked the car out and it was good. Still not good but it was all about the sale and them getting paid, it's never about the customer. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Never again will I purchase a car from them, want send anyone I know to them. I should've went on where I was going could've gotten a better deal. The rep called me immediately and advised I should submit a regular application because he basically didn't know anything about the business application. He tells me ok I'm about to submit you and I advised not to submit me to chase and they did anyways. My vehicle has been flashing an assortment of display lights since 30k miles (under warranty). I took my vehicle in THREE times over the past two years to address the issue. They couldn't figure it out and never corrected the problem. Now here I am - at 59k miles (out of warranty) and I've received a completely new diagnosis requesting an alternator replace over 5k. After adamantly explaining that there's no way on earth it could be the alternator and equally complaining about the fact that this should be covered under warranty, I finally caved and approved the repair. They had my car almost 30 days. The very day they replaced my alternator they came back and sent me a text saying my car still has the same issues and NOW it's a sensor with an estimate of $2241 to replace on top of the alternator. At this point I decided to hop online and read reviews only to discover I'm not the only customer to have the experience of misdiagnosis, overcharged, unnecessary repairs. AVOID this place at all costs.

We traded in two vehicles, so this wasn't a simple deal. There were a lot of moving parts. Chuy handled the front end with patience and zero pressure. He actually listened to what our family needed and made the experience feel relaxed and personal. Behind the scenes, Nick helped structure everything so the numbers worked -- and somehow our monthly payment didn't increase, even with the upgrade to a full-size Expedition. That mattered to us. The whole process felt straightforward and honest. No games. No surprises. Just people who know what they're doing and care about getting it right. We brought the Expedition home and our kids looked like it was Christmas morning. Nicolle is still talking about how smooth everything went. After this experience, we wouldn't buy a vehicle anywhere else but Planet Ford Dallas. Chuy and Nick earned that loyalty.

The sales process was smooth, efficient, and overall one of the better vehicle purchases I've had. Unfortunately, things changed once I needed service. At just 6,000 miles, I experienced a serious issue with the truck. About a week ago, I was stopped at a red light and, when the light turned green, I pressed the accelerator but the truck wouldn't move. After a brief moment, it returned to normal, so I didn't think much of it. Then last night, while driving home from Walmart, the same thing happened again, except this time it was much worse. Multiple warning lights came on stating that several systems had malfunctioned, and the truck went into what appeared to be a reduced-power mode. I couldn't drive more than 50 MPH, and every time I pressed the accelerator, the truck would sputter, hesitate, or simply not respond with any power. In my opinion, that's a major safety concern, especially with the amount of traffic we deal with in the DFW area. What makes this even more frustrating is that this is a truck that cost close to $90,000. For a vehicle at that price point, having these kinds of major drivability and safety-related issues at only 6,000 miles is ridiculous and incredibly disappointing. I understand that defects can happen, but when you're spending nearly $90K on a premium truck, you expect both the vehicle and the support behind it to be significantly better. When I contacted the service department, I expected at least some sense of urgency. Instead, I was told my only option was to drop the truck off and wait approximately three days just for diagnostics because they are backed up. To make matters worse, my service advisor wasn't particularly friendly and showed very little concern about the situation, even after reviewing my vehicle information and seeing that multiple fault codes had been triggered. The dealership also had no loaner vehicles available, meaning I would be without transportation during the entire process. First impressions matter, and it's disappointing that I haven't even made it to my first scheduled service before having this kind of experience with the service department. While the sales team earned my business, the service experience has left me seriously questioning whether I'll return to this dealership for future maintenance or repairs. A great purchase experience means very little if the dealership isn't there for its customers when a serious problem arises.
