I came into Wild Bull tonight after the rodeo, paid my cover, bought a drink, and was kicked out almost immediately. I asked the bouncers multiple times why I was being removed, but no one would give me an answer. I had just walked in, had done nothing wrong, and was escorted out anyway. The only explanation I can come up with is that I may have been wearing a similar outfit to another girl, which is not a legitimate reason to remove a paying customer. If I were the owner, I would want to know this is how customers are being treated. I paid for my cover and my drink, received neither the service nor the experience I paid for, and was forced to leave without any explanation. I expect a full refund for both my cover charge and my drink. Based on my experience, I would not recommend anyone spend their money at Wild Bull. Charging customers only to remove them without cause or explanation is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the business. read more

I am writing this to warn other out-of-state visitors about how Dallas Bull operates. Apparently, it is a well-documented issue here for security to arbitrarily decide that any female between 21 and 25 is carrying a fake ID, and my experience proved exactly that. I attended a private birthday party here for a friend who booked an entire floor. Despite presenting a 100% valid, legal Virginia government ID, security staff singled me out, falsely accused me of having a fake ID, and caused a massive, humiliating scene. They even tried to illegally confiscate my ID, and only handed it back after I threatened legal action. The situation escalated until law enforcement intervened. A police officer on the scene ran my ID and explicitly confirmed to the staff that it was completely authentic and legal. Yet, the venue still refused to admit me--with the staff condescendingly telling me, 'Good news, your ID is real. Bad news, you're still not getting in.' I was barred from my friend's privately booked event while the rest of the party was allowed inside. When they still refused my entry, I pointed out that if their staff genuinely cannot recognize a real, government-issued out-of-state ID verified by law enforcement, they lack basic training and are likely serving actual underage drinkers inside.The blatant bias, the refusal to respect law enforcement's official verification, and the public degradation were shocking. If you are visiting from out of state, save your time and money. Go somewhere that treats all paying guests with basic human dignity and trains their staff properly. read more

Me and my sister came in to dance and have fun she's of legal age to drink and I am not so I have the wrist band and both X's on my hands, it's sink or swim night and she gets a cranberry vodka and gets me a regular cranberry juice, I accidentally spilled some on my legs and go to the bathroom in the upstairs to wipe my legs off and was followed in by the one bouncer with long greasy hair and was not even allowed to use the bathroom before she demanded my ID and I asked away with it while my sister waited outside for me another male bouncer asked for hers took it and mine from the greasy long haired lady bouncer and walked away while the greasy haired woman bouncer told us to follow, they took us outside and said they had seen me with a alcoholic drink but could not tell us what drink it was what it looked like where I was at when I supposedly had it and when we asked because we knew I didn't have one that night they just kept repeating "you're arguing" at us while having their fattest bouncer in the establishment stand behind us to intimidate us, a few minutes go by and we calmly ask the scrawny bouncer at the front with a body cam if we could please speak to a manager so we could see about getting our money back, to which he says "No I'm a supervisor you can speak to me and unlike you guys theirs hundreds of people inside that didn't do anything wrong having a good time" to which we just again asked about just getting our money back as we had not even been their for a hour to which he started to say we were 'arguing' and when I said "My sister is not trying to argue please stop saying that" in a calm manner he said "She seems fucking argumentative to me" and them spoke over the body cam "I need the sheriffs called on two females trying to argue" so we left knowing it's not worth even trying to deal with them and their intimidation tactics. If you can't even hire security that can't tell the difference between a juice cup and a drink cup that the bartender gives you then it shows you either need to hire smarter employees or get separate cups for youre juice cups so you're employees can tell the difference between the two, it seems like they do this to run a huge money scam as many recent reviews listed very similar experiences and with the same Greasy haired woman bouncer. read more

Hadn't been in a few years and decided to stop in as we were down the road. Compared to most line dance halls, wasn't blown away. It seemed more like a warehouse with some decor rather than themed to present itself. Cover fee is higher compared to places like stockyard and cowboys which are in the area. I've come to the Dallas Bull for over 25 years, well before I ever joined the military. But this place has the most idiotic rule I've ever heard, they say a retired military ID isn't a valid ID! I've never in my life gone anywhere and been told a military ID that isn't an active duty ID is not a valid IF. We'll never go back there again. First time here in long time, stopped by Saturday night & was getting crowded which is okay but too many young kids under 21 some vaping lots of unlimited beers being served that night. But the worst part was the music no country music lots of techno music and upstairs they were playing rap & hip hop music which is okay for different people. where do even begin. I went there with some friends because it was the night before my wedding. We had two people in our group that were under 21. Neither were drinking, I handed my drink over to one of the girls to tie my shoe. One of the bouncers, a younger male. Got in her face and said if she didn't leave the bar immediately. They were going to call the cops on her. She simply asked why he gave her no explanation but said get the F out of here or I'm calling the cops. Then he looked at all of us and said I don't have a problem calling the cops on all of you if you don't get out of here.. She then left and 20 security guards followed her out of the club. After asking the security guard. what she had done wrong none of them could give us an explanation. She wasn't drinking at all. They then circled the parking lot several times while she waited for her Uber. me and my husband then left the bar and while we were pulling out two security guards on a golf cart sat in front of our car and wouldn't let us move. My husband out of the car, and respectfully asked the security guards to move. The one security guard got nose to nose with my husband and claimed that if he didn't get out of his face immediately he was going call the sheriff. He then broaden his shoulders like he was going to hit my husband. When my husband backed away he continued to pursue my husband. I'm not upset that they did their job in the club. I had to give a review... my husband and I live in Galveston and called tonight because it was our mom's birthday she goes every Friday and has for years. I like a good honky tonk, I LOVE this one. I went for a concert, which I was already excited about but the building and staff are what made this such a pleasant experience. I have never been in a bar/concert where the floors are SO CLEAN it was awesome. The entire place in general felt clean. Good amount of security placed around the building, checking in with tickets was an easy experience, bartenders were super quick and efficient, all staff were kind. A man got sick near us and staff cleaned it up immediately which was great to not have to keep thinking about lol. Sold out show but we got in and out with minimal waiting. If you want to pay to be scrutinized and treated like a criminal go to Dallas bull. Security guards are looking to find an issue with anything you are doing. Staff is extremely rude and unwelcoming. In addition this place has many rules that are not clarified to patrons. It almost seems as if they get a kick out of throwing out individuals that have paid their cover and follow every rule that is laid out, If someone under the age of 21 (which is blatantly allowed in this club) so much as looks at someone with a drink they are immediately forced to leave by three of their hired "security" without the modicum amount of respect that would let them plead their case. I have never been more disgusted with an establishment's behavior like I was with this one. I did not have a single drink throughout the night and experienced an aggressive encounter with security. This included my girlfriend (who was also sober) having a male security guard get in her face and call her slurs and every offensive name under the sun because she asked if she could go get her CAR KEYS that she dropped by mistake within the bar after they kicked us out (which they had no valid reason to kick us out in the first place). I have honestly never seen a man talk to a woman the way this security person did to my friend. They ended up calling the cops on my friend because she stood outside trying to reason with security to get her car keys back for "trespassing". My biggest regret is spending a single dime at this establishment. If I could give this place a 0 stars, I would! Came the other night for date night to see Creed Fisher! The place was pretty busy and we were still able to find decent parking. I felt as if I was overdressed wearing wedges and a tank top. But that's ok Before even getting into the place my husband got carded - almost 30 - and had the worst experience. Ever. He looks really young, I get that. So him getting carded wasn't that big of a deal but the guy who carded him was a complete jerk and even asked my husband to open his Snapchat AFTER giving two forms of ID. Saying he could see my husbands birthday on Snapchat. Idk but we don't have Snapchat if that tells you anything. After standing there and showing him pictures of our family via Facebook - he finally let us in. I mean even the girl checking tickets was laughing and thought the whole process was ridiculous. My husband was so upset due to this and it was hard to enjoy the concert. The bartender was nice, drinks were fairly priced, and it looked like everyone was having fun, even the guy that was puking next to us upstairs! I went to the Dallas Bull for my 24th birthday and I, unfortunately, lost my phone that night. Not only did I lose my phone, but my case was a wallet case that had all of my ID's, credit and debit cards, insurance cards, and even a $50 bill. I was certain it was gone for good, and I'd had to take the loss on all of my belongings. However, between Marcy, Ric, the maintenance man (I apologize, I didn't catch his name), and the security guard Daniel who found the phone, I have been reunited with ALL of my stuff, including the money! Came to Tampa for an interview a few months back. Being the avid line dancer that I am, I needed to know there was a good spot down here. It's safe to say I was more than reassured there was a new line dancing home in my future after visiting the Dallas Bull. Lessons start at 7:30pm on Tues, Thurs, Fri, and Saturday nights. The instructor is AWESOME! He can teach an advanced dance with ease, but also can have a first timer boot scootin' and boogin' in no time! Be careful coming on Saturday night. It is not for weak livers. Saturday 'Sink or Swim' night includes free drinks after paying your cover ($10-$15). If you start sinkin, the bouncers will get you out ASAP. The locals call me Michael Phelps...because all I do is swim swim swim no matter what (I'm sorry). 9.5/10 - Have already been back 4 times in 6 weeks, and foresee many more nights kickin the dust up. read more

We just saw Jameson Rodgers perform at the Dallas Bull and it was awesome! The drinks were ice cold and not overpriced. The bar was well staffed with attentive bartenders and we never had to wait for the next round. The venue was very clean, the bathroom attendants kept the restrooms immaculate and security/bouncers maintained a notable presence to dissuade any potential problems. Awesome country line dancing very clean place and bartender are so nice. You get to !buy $12 with unlimited drinks at 9pm ! Oh yeah what a deal! Dancing floor so huge and lots of nice ladies will teach you how to country line dancing ! Really enjoyed my Night here and will be back for some country line dancing lessons every Thursday and Wednesday is beginners class from 7:30-9;30pm. It's a work out routine WHEW!! The jackass bouncer wouldn't let me in after I gave him a legit out-of-state ID (which he "knew" was fake). He tried to STEAL my ID that I needed to drive over 1,000 miles home. I was only able to get the ID back after threatening to call the cops, which in turn had the guy still refuse me because he was "uncomfortable". Hilariously, the head of security backed the fool even after I showed several other forms of identification. This place was pretty cool. Live music on Fridays for $15, very affordable drinks, two stories of dancing. However, smoking is allowed, and that was a bummer. Also, there's nowhere close to being enough seating, so wear comfortable shoes or be prepared to get there more than 2 hours before the show (we got there 1.5 hours early and still had to stand the whole time). Also, be aware that since alcohol is so darned cheap here, there are a lot of intoxicated people around. read more
