Darkest bar/restaurant I've ever been in. Think about everyone there are regulars- everyone knew everyone except for us oddballs. Had chicken wings and fried pickles and they were good. In hindsight I wish we'd have gotten a different wing sauce but that was my fault, not anyone else's. This could be a fun place to hang out if I was drinking and had a ride on a weekend with some live music. Not a place to take your kids, but the service was good and the food was good. read more

Been here twice now. The prices seem fair and the bartenders have been nice. Now we have heard that fights are a semi-common occurrence, but we didn't see anything too crazy happen. The main reason I like this bar is They don't put up with whiny, hipsters and their complaints. It has Tv's, Live bands on the weekends, bar fights, rednecks, regulars a'plenty, pool tables and stiff drinks. If you want a cleverly crafted cocktail with locally source organic fruit, head to Seminole Heights. I was born in this town and one thing has never changed... Whiskey Willy's. The fact that Yelpers wandered in here looking for a good time and ended up with hostile bartenders, makes me laugh. It's hard to laugh these days isn't it. If you have the fortitude to hang around, the conversations that take place in this joint are great. It's a local bar and most of us are wondering where all these people came from and why they are asking for locally sourced orange juice for their Sunday mimosa. I'm mostly poking fun at the previous reviews I read, but there is seriousness in Jest. This place is as divey as it gets in Land O Lakes/ Lutz. There are no frills, I mean none. If you are a smoker it's one of the few places you can still smoke inside. They usually have a drink special and their prices are extremely low the last time I went they had a pint of bud select for $1.50. They're open 365 days of the year, even Christmas. If you're expecting craft beer, high end liquors, or fancy cocktails, don't come here unless you enjoy being disappointed. If want a jack and Coke or a bud light they can accommodate. The place is extremely dark, it is one of the very few windowless type of establishment. They have pool tables, darts, and a lot of seats. read more

Came here from out of town. Bought a double gin and soda and Diet Coke was charged 8.25 for both. Respectable. Went back for a second double as I wasn't the DD. Was told it's 13.50 for a "True Double". And asked to taste it. Lol. That's the price of half a bottle of gin. Different bartender. Same night. Never been charged over 12 unless in NYC or Chicago. Fun place with pool, karaoke, darts, dancing, lots of seating/tables and good drink prices. I just can't stand the cigarette smoke and wish they would make smokers go outside. It's not healthy. It's not good for the staff to breath second hand smoke all night! I understand smokers want a place they can smoke and chill, it's called a hookah bar. If I can't smoke pot in public you should t be able to smoke cancer sticks in public. I'd give 5 stars for this fun dive bar if it was non smoking. read more

I live closeby. Bud Select draft is dirt cheap here. I've only come in twice, both times during the day and both times Carol bartended. Trip 1: got 3 beers, she tried to charge me for 4, and gave me lip using, "you're arguing about $1.50" as her defense. Carol, I'm not arguing. You overcharged me. She did fix it, I paid with a $20 and she shorted me $10 on the change. Great bar & money skills! (Rolls eyes) Trip 2 / month later: I order a beer and sat there while she forgot about me. She finally remembers and then walks around with my new full beer while she pulls other empties off the bar and takes "one more" orders. Can I have my beer please? WTF? As I sip my belated beer I watch her use 2 different bar towels to wipe off her sweaty cleavage, then she wipes her hands on the same towels, and YEP YOU GUESSED IT...wiped the bar with the same towel. The towels were then laid on the cooler next to the bar well. Where are the sanitizer buckets, Carol?! If...IF...I ever come back to this wretched hive it will be bottled beer and that's it. No sooner did I finish writing this that I had to edit it and add to it. She smokes a cig...takes a huge puff...then grabs glassware and starts pouring drinks without washing her hands. Pro's: Cheap pool ($1/game). Pitcher of Yuengling ~$10. Friendly staff. Con's: Dirty and off-balance tables. All sticks and balls broken or damaged. Ordered Jack Daniels and I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually watered-down Early Times. The smoke is worse than most other smoking bars. read more

Walked into this bar with boo, I guess we both were too dark skinned for anyone to notice we were thirsty. Stayed at the bar for about 10 minutes and no one asked us if we needed anything. Felt totally unwelcome. No wonder the place was empty. Gave it a try. I'll spend my money elsewhere! read more

The beer is cheap. They have some decent bands, but it reminded me of the opening scene with the bar in Terminator 2.

I went to this place a few times since it is close by and really one of the only bars around in Lutz. I was not really impressed. The seating is bad. The bands that I saw there were awful. People there were really drunk all the times I went and some were quite belligerent. One good note was, I didn't have to wait long for drinks and they were cheap, I would suggest not running a tab to avoid miscellaneous charges. read more

This bar is the best! The bartenders are all amazing and they have live band every friday and saturday night and no cover charge! The people here are super friendly and this bar has been around forever! It's a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy music. They have pool tables and darts too. read more

This place is horrible. The bartender wanted to test me the second I walked in the door. I asked him what beers you have he gave me attitude and didn't answer. So.., I ordered jack with coke, he screwed that up and gave me jack on the rocks. I took it. The next time I tried to correct him he gave me more attitude and finally fixed it. But the whole time giving me attitude saying "this isn't chilies bro, I don't know what bar you think you're in" and "how long you've been doing this? (going to bars), I've been doing this for 32 years, where you from". Just constant unnecessary ridiculous attitude. read more

Cool dive bar, pool and darts available to play. I didn't feel weird walking in with all the regulars there, very nice people. Cheap beer, good music (sometimes they have karaoke on stage). Good place to just grab a beer and hang out. read more

This place is the ultimate for karaoke on Tuesdays. Nice stage, awesome sound system that the KJ is an expert at running & some really cool lighting effects. I love the on line sign up that you can do right from your phone. He runs a fair rotation that scrolls on the TV so you always know how long before your turn. read more

This is the best down to earth place to go to listen to local bands around Tampa Bay. Fridays and Saturdays are live music night. No cover charge, friendly people and a whole lot of fun. The price is right on the pitchers of beer! Nice servers. Bikers always welcome not showing there colors. They have juke box machine, 3 pool tables, dart machine and a small dance floor to dance.
