Found a bike I wanted here and started the negotiation on it. I told them in a text to the sales guy what I wanted for my trade and what I would pay for the used bike. He texted back and said that he had talked "to the boss" and that was fine and to come on in with my bike. I did and was it a different story when I got there. They told me that my bike needed a front tire so they couldnt give me what I wanted for it on the trade. (The tire in question was new and had less than 800 miles on it, I told them that I would produce the paperwork on it with the date and miles on the bike. They back tracked on that but then went up on the agreed price on the bike and when I showed the finance guy the text saying that they would do the deal the way I wanted IN WRITING he gave me some BS excuse that they weren't making any money on the deal. I bought the bike anyways, and now wish I had not. They put a dealer assembly fee of 788.00 on the final sale (on a USED BIKE whats to assemble on a used running motorcycle?) so with that and not doing what they said they would do on the actual deal I wanted I paid about $1400 more. Whatever. I wouldnt buy a fuggin tshirt from these losers. I have severed all ties with them and gave ALL of my business to Longhorn in Grand Prairie. Buyer BEWARE !!! No INTEGRITY AT ALL !!! Let me first say, I don't have a bike so I can't comment on that end of service. Every time my family travels any where there is a Harley Dealership we buy T-shirts as a souvenir. They are really cool top quality shirts and have the name of the city on them so they are great. I will be travelling to Dallas for a conference but will not have a vehicle so cannot get to the actual dealership so I called the dealership and asked if there was any way that I could just order the shirts. Kayla not only texted me pics of all the t-shirts available but is setting aside my order to ship to my hotel when I arrive so that I don't have to pay extra for shipping to Canada. She has gone above and way beyond and I want to make sure that everyone knows how awesome the service she provided to me was! She is a definite keeper and whatever they are paying her is likely not enough for the customer service she provides. read more

Dallas Harley Davidson in Garland has the most helpful people working there. The sales people really know their stuff. Also, I love their weekend events. Plus they sponsor lots of local charities and support the police rides. They are just real Harley riders, so its a cool place to shop. read more

I would like to share my experience here at Dallas Harley with you just so you know how they treat you. They have their positive sides such as, treating you like family when you purchase any bike new or used. Everyone claps their hands when you get to ring the bell. Every person inside the main store from parts to clothing to people who answer the lines in the call center is nice and helpful in every way possible. Makes you feel good inside to think someone really cares about their customers. You even have free drinks and food on Saturdays and many other events at the Dealership you can enjoy. On the other hand, you have the Service Department....The very day I purchased my bike a gentleman waiting on his bike to be serviced told me, whatever you do, don't bring it here to be serviced cause they don't know what there doing here.... Now I know what he meant!!! I think the only qualification needed to work in the Service Department is being able to breathe, lie and eat donuts and this goes for all included up to the Service Manger running this joint. The communication here to say at best is HORRIBLE! Then when they do communicate to you and you realize they are lies it is despicable. I actually have called the Advisor to ask how everything is going with the repairs on my bike and get the response ( Hey man, everything is good, bike is on the rack now torn down ), and I say "REALLY", because I am out here in your parking lot sitting on my bike right now. This has happened not once, but twice. The Service Manager has called me to tell me my engine is torn completely down and the engine needs to be replaced because the damage is so bad. But when the warranty company rep pays a visit the following day, only the rocker covers have been removed. It took them 10 more days and 2 more visits from warranty rep to REALLY disassemble the engine and then and only then did warranty approve a rebuild. During those 10 days my own warranty company suggested two times that I get my bike from Dallas Harley and take it somewhere else because of the games DH play. They did not have special tools needed to reassemble the engine which had to be ordered. I explained my concerns with the bike on the first day of a terrible vibration. I had to re-explain the concern 10 days later to the Service Manager who tells me my voltage regulator and foot board is loose. I said ride the damn bike and you will know instantly that my concern is NOT the loose regulator or foot board. I ask to have the bike inspected by e-mail and one phone conversation and two verbal face to face conversations with the Service Manager. 73 days later I go to pick my bike up after I was told it was finished. When I get there I find out that my right side crash bar is broken off the bike but my advisor has no clue how it happened. I notice I still have an expired inspection sticker. I leave with the bike after they install a new crash bar and take it straight to have the bike inspected elsewhere since an inspection was too much for Dallas Harley to accomplish. There is much more to the story but you probably get my drift by now. This Dealership is in great need of some people in the Service Department who care as much as those up front trying to sell you the bike. read more

great sales people and everyone that works there. that said the company policies suck. strike one was when they told they me they could not work on my 1993 harley because they dont want to work on old bikes older than 2001 year model. the next strike was when they wanted me to come back and work a deal for me to trade my 2012 heritage on a used bike of theirs. they wouldnt let me ride their bike but they rode mine for the appraisal.. i have been riding motorcycles for 60 years and have full motorcycle coverage insurance. i cant think of a single reason i would ever go back to the garland harley dealership. what a waste of my time!!!!!!!! 2 bad experiences. Service department is just a parts replacement department. They don't trouble shoot the problem they just start replacing parts. #1- Had a problem with the bike starting. Some times it wouldn't even turn over but still had power to the lights. If you would rock the bike back and forth while in gear it would then start. Took it to them and $777 dollars later I was told it was fixed. Went to Arkansas for a rally and it did it again. Went to HD dealer in Hot Springs and they looked at it and 20 minuets later told me I had a bad battery cable. $30.00 fix. Just went there to have my battery checked and told me the battery had to be pulled off the bike to test and it would cost 30 shop time. Every other dealer in the DFW and Texoma area told me they could test it while on the bike and there was no charge unless the battery had to be replaced. I won't go back. It is farther to drive to Allen but I will try there service department. read more

I have used this dealership for about three years now. I live 100 miles away in Tyler where we have a dealership here that I would never use again because of their service, sales and parts. My wife bought a new 2011 SG here in 2011, the sales team, the GM, and the parts dept, Especially Derek were the best. The service dept did a great job with add ons. Two years later I traded the 2011 SG and my 05 ultra in for an expensive 2013 triglide. There again all of the above were super again. Now I go back three weeks ago for my 5000 mile service and also have SE 255 cams installed. Now we have a problem. The service dept has all new people, don't know what happened there but I believe they need those people back. The cam job was suppose to take 4 hours, the service 1 hour, also I went ahead and had High dollar Boom speakers installed. ( THESE ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY) But that was my decision, not the dealers. Any how 11 hours later I was finally ready to leave. NOT. The trike poped, jerked, back fired as I left the parking lot. Took it right back and the service writer took it back to the Tech. He rode it and said nothing was wrong. I got to Terrell and pulled over and the bike run like crap. Finally made it back to Tyler and it used 3/4 tank of gas. I called the service writer and he said he would come get it that Tuesday, and they did. It stayed there for days, I called everyday and they were working on it. They called me the next day everything was ok. Service writer rode it No it was not ok. They told me bad GAS CAP??????. COME ON. Next they say no compression in front cylinder, push rods were put in wrong, stuck lifter. I don't know where they get these excuses at. I keep getting told TOMORROW,TOMORROW. I drove up ther one morning ( from 100 miles away). They were supprised when I showed up. My trike is just sitting there. They said the tech working on called in.( THIS IS THE SAME TECH THAT SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG, THE SAME TECH THAT I ASKED TO NOT LET WORK ON MY TRIKE ANYMORE.) They told me that another tech was getting right on it. Now they had already told me that mine went to the top of the list because I was a bring back customer. ONE THAT THE WORK WAS DONE BUT WAS NOT DONE RIGHT AND IT WAS ALREADY PAID FOR. 1 AND 1/2 HOUR LATER I GOT ENOUGH AND LEFT BACK FOR TYLER.They still had not started on it. Got home they called me after about 1 hour after getting there. Its fixed. Delivered it the next morning. I rode it down the street and it run great. The driver left. I rode it again about 1/2 hour later. Run like crap. The driver come back, rode it his self agreed it was not right. Ok they ended up having to take it and have it dyno'd somewhere. That was on a Monday. It's fixed. It will be there TOMORROW,TOMORROW. Friday they finally bring it to me. It runs ok after you get it going by reving the motor and riding the clutch to take off. It did not do this before. Now I have been very patient with them and the service writer was doing what he could. I AM BASHING ANYONE HERE, but THE SERVICE DEPT. HAS GONE TO CRAP. I never got a call about how is it doing. NOT FROM THE GM OR ANYBODY. i had sent the service writer a text before I got the trike back and told him that I think the GM could have handled this situation better. I will take it back for my service work only because I have paid for this up front. I wish I could get that money back and I would not go back. Now the only reason I am writing this review is because( and the guy that delievered my trike to me knows this) IS BECAUSE WHEN I GOT ON THE TRIKE IT WAS BELOW EMPTY, THE RESERVE SHOWED 13 MILES LEFT ON THE TANK, THE BIKE WAS FILTHY. THE DRIVER SAID HE WAS GOING TO SAY SOMETHING. I NEVER HAD I'M SORRY FOR THAT OR ANYTHING. THAT IS BAD SERVICE. THE DEALERSHIP IS GREAT. PARTS DEPT. EXCELLENT. THAT'S IT. read more
