Now this review is just about the Service and Parts department. The store and sales portion I have no experience with so I gave it 2 vs. 1 star. It's hard to tell if this Harley Dealer (Stealer) is dishonest or incompetent. I had a minor problem on my bike. The switch which activated my brake light burned out. So I looked at Drag Specialties and found a replacement switch for $17. DS said I could order it from here, so I called and confirmed they would order DS parts for me. When I got there the parts guy (I don't want to name names) said my only option was a HD brand switch which ran $72 with tax. I said, "Wow, that's a lot for a switch doesn't Custom Chrome or DS have a similar part?" He then pretended to look at his catalogs before saying "no" with a straight face. Incompetent or dishonest? Your choice. Needless to say I found an online retailer who sold me the part for $16.51 delivered. When the part arrived I looked up the repair instructions and watched a YouTube vid. Took an expert 16 minutes to do the repair, but it involved soldering. Since I solder about as well as George Bush speaks, I figured I'd pay to have it done. Since I wanted to give the dealership a fair shake I went back to the service department. According to the service department, it would take 1 hour, I mean $95 to have it done. If some random tech on YouTube can do it in less than 20 min, surely a trained HD mechanic can do the job in no more than 30 min, even with some set up time included. So your choice again, incompetent or dishonest? Finally I called up nearby Cowboy Cycles. They told me it would take 30 min and they would work while I waited. So here it is. I got the repair done for $61 including parts. Giving the Harley Dealer every chance to earn my business (and loyalty) the exact same repair would have been $167. So are they dishonest or incompetent? Either way go elsewhere and support the honest hardworking independent shops. In the East Dallas area I recommend Cowboy Cycles or Renegade Cycles both honest & skilled operations. read more

Took my bike in for a rear tire, said it would be done by next day. Never called so I went up there to get it a week later and Same rear tire, but put a new front tire on it. So i picked it up, and on the way home notice a terrible shake in front, look down and front wheel is now bent, very obvious. Took it back several more times to have corrected, and they refuse to even acknowledge its bent after several friends also rode it and said it was bent. So twice they just tightened down headset so tight that bike rides like crap (no float to put it in technical terms. I am a mechanic as well as expert racer, roadracer in CMRA as well as motocrosser for 40 yrs). I've heard other stories like this now from other people. I'm not sure how to take my experience here today. I drove from out of town to go here for a front tire for a 2012 Street Glide and an inspection which was around 2:45 p.m. The service technician was nice. He had to get permission from a female (I'm guessing manager) to see if they could serve me today. I was told they couldn't today but I could come back tomorrow-first come first serve. Wow. You mean to tell me you close at 7:00 and there is no one who can serve me at 2:45 p.m.? I was going to spend close to $300.00 plus I was going to shop around while I wait for my Stage 1 upgrade which was $2400. I was so disappointed that I will take my money someone else. Where do I begin? I took my bike here back in Oct 13 to get fixed from a wreck. When they did the estimate I was told that it would be 60-65 days before my bike would be fixed which means it should be done no later than the end of December. It's now the middle of Feb and my bike is still not finished. For the last three weeks I have been told my bike would be done on Saturday and that they would call me Friday to schedule a time to pick it up the next day, each week Friday passed and no phone call. So every Saturday I call and ask to speak to the guy I have been dealing with and every Saturday he is off and my bike isn't ready and it have to wait to hear back on Monday when the guy I deal with comes back. I have been in the customer service industry my whole life and I have never dealt with this bad of service. I'm not going to mention any names because I have come to the conclusion that it's the whole service dept. who is at fault. You would think that being an avid Harley owner and rider my whole life that you would expect to receive great service from a harley dealership, but in my case it's been horrible to say the least. Others have had better experiences than me so use these guys at your own risk but when or if ever I get my bike back this will be the last time they receive my business. read more

I have bought two motorcycles from this dealership the last one is a Road Glide 2018 it had a recall on it for clutch problem I put my name in the waiting list the first day I got the notice from Harley-Davidson motor company several weeks later I called up the dealership in the service department said they didn't have my name on the list so my name went back on the list in November I finally got a call in mid-march saying that they had the part in and I needed to bring the motorcycle in that day I live 80 miles away I told him I couldn't get it in there until the following week I asked him to hold a part and they basically said first come first serve I then called a dealer in Tyler I asked them if they had the parts to fix my clutch and they said yes they had a lot of recall Parts in stock they took my bike in it was done in 45 minutes I need to say if I could give Dallas Harley-Davidson a-minus on the star setting I would very disappointed the dealership in my opinion has gone downhill the dealer in Tyler is excellent read more

4 months to get our bike repaired being rear ended......communication was awlful, had to get the Service Mgr involved and things were somewhat better. Our Sporty had a clutch assist installed, got it home and it was leaking fluid from the housing unit.....love the store and the employees but will take our bikes elsewhere to be repaired or serviced. read more

My sales guys, Alex and Ant were great, Derrick the parts manger was great, the guys in service were great, the ladies upstairs selling the clothing, the cashiers to the guys on the sales floor and outside were the greatest. Only take one bad apple. read more
