It was important to me that I get everything answered accurately and in a timely manner since I'd be traveling from Houston on my only free weekend to see the car. Shawn spoke with me every day and handled all my concerns/issues quickly. Finally made the trip up. I saw my car up front, exactly as described and pictured. Walking in, I was greeted immediately and taken for a test drive. From test drive to final drive off, I was there less than two hours at the same desk with the same guy. No pawning off to different people in different buildings for different sets of paperwork. Absolutely ZERO haggle, zero hidden fees, zero pain. Shawn was beyond accommodating. "the shielding on the rear left and right is cracked where the front wheel house liners attach at the rockers". Additionally on OBD and OBDII and I quote, "Not all monitors show ready for testing without error. EVAP system shows incomplete and thus has not fully passed. The following systems reported codes. Will need further research and and diagnostics for source of codes". And there is more.... I made a deal with Sam, that I have in writing - Palomino was supposed to split the inspection report cost. $300 from each of us. When I confronted Sam with he report he said that the car needs to be driven a while to clear the codes. I decided not to pursue the car based on the report. The car was NOT in saleable condition. They subsequently refused to pay their half of the inspection. How can a person purchase a car when its not ready to be sold? This dealer is not reputable and has a C+ with the BBB for a reason. They do not tell the truth and actually lied which is funny because I have it in writing. Stay clear of this dealer - Caveat Emptor (let the buyer beware)

Don't be silly. And, my two-seater sports car is none other than America's sports car. (And yes, there is only ONE America's sports car. You can figure it out.) None of those fancy Italian or German roadsters for me. And when it's time for service, I take my hot rod to Ray Huffines Chevrolet in Plano. No, I didn't buy my speedster at Huffines. Actually, I bought it in New Jersey, so I had to figure out a local Chevrolet dealer for my continuing service needs. After several service runs to other dealerships shortly after buying it that were less than satisfactory, I settled on Huffines. Why? Well, let me count the ways. This is my fourth America's Sports Car over the past twenty years. Prior to this one, I took my cars to several other Chevy dealerships in the Dallas area. And getting service from most of them was like being staked to an ant hill on a broiling August day. Matter of fact, most of the time, I would have chosen the ant hill. But over my five or six visits to Huffines, my service advisors have been timely upon my arrival and pleasant to deal with. And their estimates of the service cost and time frame have always been spot on. The waiting area is typical for a Chevy dealership. No fancy expresso machines, complimentary champagne, and hors d'oeuvres that you might find at your Lamborghini dealership. Again, this is a CHEVROLET dealership. And while you might not drive America's sports car, I'd bet that Huffines would be good for your Chevy Malibu, or maybe even some other vehicle brands. But if you do drive a Lamborghini, I'd probably play it safe at the Lambo dealership, especially if they serve some of those fancy Canapés while you're sipping a nice vintage of Dom Perignon.

Also said he wasn't aware that VW still made the microbuses. I said mine is right out there and he sneered and said, "kinda hard to miss, ain't it." Things went downhill from there as he started in with his criticisms of government from an extremist Maga viewpoint, that windmill blades are running the planet ("Them Chinese melt down the old blades and dump them in the ocean), how the past presidents have let all of "those people," and so much more. No real help and loads of insults. My advice: look elsewhere for your retrofit needs.

They did a brake job, the brakes still loud as.... and they left emergency brake handle exposed. You can see the road through the opening they left when they put it back. Now after another $1700 repair on thermostat , Housing/Gasket. The same is back with coolant leaking. The Cooper is now in shop again for same thing, however it is hard to fix, because Louden motors have stripped and forced the bolt . Shitty work from an arrogant owner .

I purchased a Ford F250 from TexasCarsDirect back in September. I flew in from Chicago to pick up…read morethe truck. Upon arriving and meeting with David Urby, I took the truck for a test drive. There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this
