I've had to get an oil change and all of my coils replaced. They tried to see if my car would allow just the second coil being replaced but after starting my car a couple times, my car wanted 1,3 & 4 replaced as well. Anyway, I had to leave my car overnight which it's in an area that didn't give me any anxiety so there was no fear of my car getting vandalized. My car is running good-as-new so I'm def pleased that the problem has been resolved. You are able to buy the parts for your car and they will use those, since that can cut on cost. Those parts will not be under their warranty. I had to get my car fixed asap so I didn't go that route but it's def good info to know if you don't need to get it fixed immediately. My only complaint? That I am unable to interact with the mechanics in the garage. I love chatting with people and making new friends but then again..... this is already the hottest and most humid summer I've experienced in DFW (yall, I work outside as a laborer so I get to stand on this soapbox) The opposite of a complaint now: they offer free candy, cokes & water and also free play on arcade games while you wait. Aaaaand if you're curious, yes, there is a bidet in the bathroom. No, I didn't use it myself. 10/10 will use this auto shop again and again

I had trouble with my Honda Pilot that i had been working with the dealership on for several weeks…read more By the time I was able to take my car in they determined the issue to be with a part that was 2 weeks out of warranty extension. After going round and round with both the local service dept and Honda corporate and even showing all the text messages and pictures of the error message on my dash prior to the warranty expiration date, they still would not cover the repair and wanted to charge me many hundreds of dollars to fix the issue. A friend recommend Malek at ESS and while it was a drive from where I am, I was so frustrated with the dealership service dept, I scheduled the time to meet with Malek. After doing a full diagnostic they found the issue which was based on an old lingering code that had not been cleared from the electronics. Taking my car to Malek (ESS) I learned that dealerships only want to sell parts to make money instead of actually fixing the issue for a much lower cost! My car works great now with no errors popping up and all the car's original functionality performing the way it should. I plan to bring my car back to Malek for all future maintenance and repairs! He is the best and so much less expensive than the high priced dealerships!

I don't deserve what I'm going through with my perfect credit score being over 740. This vehicle has a recall since 2019, but the dealership doesn't touch anything aftermarket, it has to be stock. When I first saw the vehicle, I checked the engine light since it was deleted. I barely saw enough since I didn't want to be caught. Now that I have the vehicle, there's more than what I expected. Again, bring an engine code reader, don't go by what they say. I'm spending over $1,200, and there's a lot more I'm having to pay to get my valve springs repaired which is around $800-$1,600 to fix. So yeah, I'm one "happy" customer alright. I already replaced the fuel filler neck and charcoal canister that was causing the fueling up the gas tank problem, and now the most expensive one yet is my valve springs that's causing a lot of things to go wrong with my ride. I got crapped on, big time time. I surely hope everyone double and triple CHECKS ANY vehicle before buying. Don't just go by what anyone says at all. That is all. Thank you.
