After months of searching, we finally found the car we wanted to buy my son here. We have the privilege of getting Ariana on the phone, and from that point on the experience went fantastic. For many years, I've heard people tell of the incredible customer experience one receives owning a Cadillac. That experience comes with a cost that goes beyond the purchase price. So, I thought long and hard before making the decision to buy one. I found the style & exact color at Lonestar Cadillac in Garland. Their customer ratings were terrible but other dealerships were more than 60 miles from my residence. So I disregarded the advice of others and purchased from them. The sales experience was average since all negotiations occurred via text or calls. I was very surprised by the lack of professionalism from Max in finance. I kept asking myself am I really in a Cadillac dealership? Not once was I contacted about my new purchase by the dealership or anyone else since. I tried to call and book service for a continual rattle in the dashboard and was told I had to book service with Onstar. Misinformation after the purchase, poor service, & substandard quality control has been my customer experience. Is that what Cadillac is known for now? Or should I have gone to Sewell Cadillac? Please heed my warning, if businesses have numerous bad reviews, it's for a reason! read more

Lone Star Cadillac Paint & Body Collison center is a joke, I bought my car here so I thought when I needed any kind of work done I would bring it back here to the Cadillac place thinking they would do a better job because I thought they specialized in Cadillacs. Well I was so wrong on that. I ran over a piece of tire on the highway and messed up the car, so we took it back to Lone Star Cadillac to get it fixed, we pointed out to them everything that was wrong. So when they called and said it was ready for us to pick up, they had to repaint the front bumper, you could tell as soon as we pulled up that the color didn't match, a part of the side grill don't fit right didn't even line up with the rest of the car. Didn't even touch the small whole in the front grill that was broke. the bottom skirt on the passenger side still very loose, there is a strip between the hood and the bumper that was bent and didn't line up, that was not fixed either. so i am trying to understand why they called and said it was ready and there was nothing about it ready, really it was unacceptable, Lone Star Cadillac must not care who represence there name because this was a piss poor job. So it went back in the shop never kept me updated like they did the first time. My time ran out for my rent a car, I asked the Cadillac place if they could give me a car and they said no. So when it was ready again, i get there and the piece between the hood and the bumper still didn't line up, the skirt on the passenger side still loose. So the man said there was somebody still working and he would get them to see what they could do, so the car went back for the 3rd time and it didn't take them 15 minutes to fix it. So why didn't they do that the first time? Bottom line is don't take your vehicle to Lone Star Cadillac to get it worked on. This place does not deserve any stars but i had to put one for this to post. read more

Better go to Sewell... we purchased our Escalade from here when it was Garland Cadillac and the service was great. Could schedule an appointment with the service center with no worries. Now they feed you a bunch of bs when it comes to servicing your vehicle and then up-charge like crazy. $250 diagnostics test, can't get a loaner, and $1500 for a thermostat (part and labor). The highest a thermostat costs at auto zone cost about $120 at most so they want to charge $1200-1300 for labor. F no! We were considering trading there for a newer Escalade but nah I'll pass. Go somewhere else. I do not recommend. Nothing against Antonio and Quincy very straight forward but overall nah read more

The following is my experience with Lone Starr Cadillac. This is also my sale experience and opinions and they may not be yours. After researching many different vehicles I was looking for something more comfort I settled on me viewing a XT5. I came to the dealership and was immediately met by two sales rep. I gave them the specific vin of the vehicle I was interested in reviewing. And after a test drive I determined that this was the comfortable vehicle I was looking for. The negotiations commenced. And settled on the price and conditions that were my request. One of the conditions were new tires. They agreed on the dollar amount that included a new tires. Then the mound of paperwork began. I'll admit I didn't read every line on every page. This is my bad and take responsibility. I signed many different sheets. I then went to the finance manager for another round of papers. I settled on the extended warranty and oil change program. Don't like surprise expenses. After all was complete I went to receive my Cadillac. I purchased the car on a Friday and found that the initial temporary plates expired the following Tuesday. Monday was memorial day. I asked for the second set of keys and was told that this particular used car only had one set. I have been purchasing cars for over 50 years and not once did a vehicle have only one set of keys. The cost of another key is over $300 dollars. The car was spotless but on the way home noticed there was under a quarter of a tank of gas. Thought that was unusual because all the other vehicles purchased were full of gas. I looked at this as a new way of doing business but also thought this is a Cadillac dealership? I was told to expect a call to let me that my other plates and tires were in. The call never came. I called due to the plates expiring that night. I was told they were available. Drove back to the dealership and got new temporary plates and two tires (I was expecting four but that's another story). Now comes what I consider ironic. I was sent an email asking if there were any scratches or dents that weren't addressed I responded there were a few minor scratches and chips in the rim. I received another email directly from Lone Starr saying that they wanted to discuss their oversite and to give them a time to do so. I responded to the email within 10 minutes of receiving it and giving them a time. To date haven't heard a word back. So to wrap up this evaluation. I'm happy with the vehicle. The dealership can deliver has the ability to deliver the car your interested in. BUT in my opinion this is NOT what I would consider a VALUE ADD dealership. DO NOT GO HERE. Long story short, they will use scare tactics to pressure you to leave your car in the repair shop. We were not planning to leave our car there, but left it because we feared what they might do to the car before they brought it out. To make matters worse, before leaving the shop we noticed about $600 worth of items were stolen including a garage door opener. We brought this to their attention immediately. They pretended to care, but they will do NOTHING including the manager Kelly. read more
