Plenty of screens to watch games!

Have now been here twice! Came once on a whim when I was in town and looking for a place in Midtown Manhattan to watch some NFL that wouldn't be too divvy and still have good food. This place did not disappoint! We found seats at the bar on a Sunday afternoon, were greeted by the friendly bartender behind the bar, and had fast food service! They had plenty of screens playing all the games so nothing was missed. To top it off, the food was great! we had the mozzarella sticks and the buffalo wings. The wings were crispy, crunchy, but still saucy. Had a nice little kick but weren't very spicy. Overall were everything I want in a buffalo wing. The wings were so good that when I was in town 1.5 weeks later for 1 day after Europe, I was craving the wings a shad to make a stop for lunch just to have them again. Their HH during the week also offers good drink priced. Would recommend Dalton's to anyone if you're looking for a good quality spot in midtown!

Dalton's Bar & Grill 611 9th. Ave. New York, NY 10036 Classic Chicken Wings Tempura Buffalo Cauliflower Grass Fed Beef Burger Chicken Ciabattaa Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup Appearance: Taste: In midtown Manhattan just minutes away from Times Square is a local sports pub serving everyday bar food ranging from appetizers to sandwiches. Classic Chicken Wings: The bone-in wings had the perfect blend of heat and fire. The carrot and celery sticks also went well with the blue cheese dipping sauce. Tempura Buffalo Cauliflower: If you want another variation of spice, then explore the tempura buffalo cauliflower. The vegetable is breaded in a light batter and splashed with buffalo sauce. Both appetizers are served in large portions and were fantastic. The only minor drawback is the quantity of dipping sauces are small and there is a small upcharge if you request an extra sauce cup. It's a win-win whichever sandwich you try! Grass Fed Beef Burger: Cooked medium well on a brioche bun, the burger was satisfying. The caramelized onions are the backbone to this plate. Chicken Ciabattaa: With the option of grilled or fried, I choose the fried patty for the chicken ciabatta. It included a variety of toppings including fontina cheese, avocado, Mexican salsa, and the jalapeño mayonnaise. Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup: If you are feeling vegetarian, the grilled cheese and tomato soup will hit the spot. The multi-layered cheese sandwich was served on sour dough bread. It's a perfect plate for the fall and winter seasons. It was a fantastic dining experience. Service was decent. Aside from the issue with the amount of dipping sauce, the portions otherwise are plentiful as you'll definitely leave on a full stomach. #daltonsbarandgrill #9thavenue #hellskitchen #chickenwings #BuffaloCauliflower #grassfedbeefburger #chickenciabatta #grilledcheese #nycfoodie #nycfoodspots #nyceats #nycfoodreviews #nycbars #foodst

I've come to Dalton's Bar and Grill a couple times with some buddies to catch a game. This most recent visit was no different. My buddies and I came by to catch a college football game recently. The bar was fairly packed, but we were able to get seating for our group. The vibe is fairly casual as others have noted. I ordered some nachos, which was pretty good but did take some time to arrive. My buddy ordered some shrimp, which were pretty good. I would definitely come back to Dalton's check out a game as the times I have gone by I was able to get seating unlike some other spots.

Consistently great service and great food. Can't beat the happy hour deals either. Love this place!

Great dive bar to go grab a drink and watch the games. Cheese and sticks and chips and queso were delicious. Serve hot food and pretty fast. Service was great, Mary is super nice

We ordered a couple of snacks since we had dinner plans.

Met up with a few of my friends for a fun night out. We all decided to meet up at this nice bar. The service was excellent. Our server was very patient with our questions about happy hour and the menu. The drinks and snacks were very tasty. The only thing is, the low seats in the back were still a little bit too high for this shorty - lol! We'll be back!

Fish and chips with a spicy tartar sauce

On our way to see a Broadway show we stopped at this Irish pub to grab a quick lunch. The atmosphere was very nice and we were excited to get their fish and chips. Unfortunately, the fish was not crispy, which was disappointing , but it was tasty. The mac & cheese is absolutely to die for! The bartender was nice, the service was good and the drinks were tasty.

Heading to a show we had a little time to waste before the "Curtain Call". We decided to peek our heads into Daltons for a little Happy Hour exploration. This place was busy and loud, you can tell they have plenty of regulars. We grabbed a high-top and decided on some chicken sliders and rum punch. The service was quick and the staff attentive, which was a plus giving the volume of activity. The chicken sliders were tasty and would not mind stopping in again for a quick bite before a show. Just A Note: If you are of Caribbean/African American ancestry or decent... the Dalton's version of Rum Punch is not what you are accustom to.

We were looking for a fun place to watch football on Sunday and decided to come here. They had all you can drink beer/or mimosas for $25 for 90 mins. Definitely worth it. Food was delicious and the bartenders were friendly and attentive.

Came during happy hour and had the chicken ciabatta sandwich. Service was quick and the food was good. They have a lot of TVs around the bar and the tables, so this would be a good spot to catch a game.

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. I have no clue when we'll be back in Midtown, but one thing's for sure- we're sitting with Josiah again.

The shepherd's pie is insanely salty and it's very off-putting. It was inedible. I was looking forward to having it but I would not in good faith recommend this to anyone. The buttermilk tenders is supposed to come with pickled shallots and marinated green beans. We didn't get the pickled shallots or the marinated green beans, which was a shame. The chicken tenders by themselves didn't have much flavor. It also is unfortunate paying $17 for what was considered a small plate and just getting the chicken tenders. The Asian-sesame wings were okay. Also, didn't have much flavor and weren't that impressive. There was also still hair on some of the pieces of chicken, so the chicken could have been cleaned better. They have fries and hand cut fries. The regular fries were soggy. Should have went with the hand cut fries. The tater tots were okay. I was told that the chicken sandwich was good. It came with a little side of rustic chips. I would not come back for the food but I would possibly go back to try a drink if I was in the area. The drink menu looked pretty good.

They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
