Love this place. It really is a hidden gem and I am so glad I found it. They have both regular items and Gluten Free items. I order lunch from here often as I need to eat gluten free, and it is a place you can pick up a tasty sandwich wrap. Ingredients are always fresh and they are always extremely helpful and kind. The gluten free baked goods are delicious. Prior to being diagnosed with Celiac disease, I was a huge bread and pastries guy. That has been my hardest transition. I want to say one of my favorite snacks were Cinnabons from the mall. Well I went in today and low and behold, they baked up some gluten free cinnamon rolls. I have tried gluten free cinnamon rolls of other brands and ended up throwing them away. So i bought two, one for my wife and one for myself. I devoured mine in a minute and I wanted more. It had the rich cinnamon taste I have been looking for as well as the fluffiness that is so hard to achieve with gluten free dough. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I havent had a bad item and I have tried their chili, cupcakes, pumpkin pie, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and sandwiches. Normally I end up throwing away around 30 dollars worth of items I buy from the grocery store trying to find good gluten free replacements, my money is much better spent here for tasty products. This place is amazing! Another bakery canceled my sons cake 4 days before the party. Dalton's stepped up and did it for him. It was the best cake I have ever had in my life. The frosting is light, fluffy and not super buttery. The cake was delicious and I received SO MANY compliments on the cake design (penguin) and asking where we got it. I was very excited when the bakery advised they could make my requested design. They said they would send me pictures of my different options. Unfortunately I had to call back twice to follow up on the examples. The cake did looked like the image I approved but the cake itself didn't taste any better than a bought cake at jewel and there was barely any filling. Im in love with this bakery, I can't have gluten in my diet and to find a bakery which scratch makes all there gluten products on site is amazing. I placed an order for a carrot cake gluten free of course without nuts. Alison totally understands about allergies and confirmed my order details and time of pickup. The cake was amazing and all my dinner friends mentioned this was the best carrot cake they had tasted, even the non gluten free friends had seconds. Today I went here on a wim. I got the GF health muffin (I think that's what it was) and the GF red velvet cupcake. The Heath muffin is large, full of flavor at the top, but very dense. The muffin as a whole could use a little more chocolate. For its price, definitely worth it. I tried the red velvet later on in the night. I'm not sure if it's because I bought it right before closing, but had barely any flavor, was super dense/dry, and the frosting was overly sugary. Not to be rude, but the cupcake tasted like something you'd get in bulk at Walmart. Overall I give it a 3/5 for the price, service, muffin was pretty darn good, but the cupcake brought it down. This is the cutest family run bakery. Their cakes are amazing....People always rave about them after we have a birthday party. They have done many fun designs for us. After reading good reviews about this Bakery I went into to order a cake for my son's first birthday party which is four days away from today. I ordered two weeks in advance, Alison's daughter took the order. I wanted to taste the two flavors I was confused about to finalize the order, she said she would call me the next day to let me know what time I should come in for the tasting. No call next day, when I followed up with her she said she had told me to come in at noon the next day (which she never did). I let that go as a mistake on maybe my part. I called the following day to finalize the order without tasting the flavors since I was running short on time, again Alison's daughter said she would speak to Alison to see if they can still take my order and call me back the next day. I confirmed if she had my call back number and she verified, no call the next day! Maybe their cakes are good but their customer service isn't! My sister ordered cakes for my nephews FIRST BIRTHDAY, a very big deal for a family! Being that he is young, as many people know, it is advised to NOT feed children nuts at his age. My sister ordered a smash cake for my nephew in carrot cake and requested no nuts or raisins. About two handfuls into the cake my sister saw a raisin, strike one. Then grandma had a little bite only to realize there WERE NUTS IN THE CAKE. Strike two! THANKFULLY he did not have a reaction. Not following a few simple request could have been extremely dangerous and possibly fatal. The second cake for the other guests was suppose to have something that looked like a brown bear. It looked more like a mishmash of brown colors that I would find in my nephews diaper with claws. Nothing like a bear, strike three and you are out. Not ever using them EVER again! read more

Dalton Cakes has been a great addition to the area. Besides bakery items they have sandwiches, wraps, soup, salads and gluten free pizza. You can get a gluten free teff wrap and they have gluten free dressings for the salads with gf croutons. I have not tried the pizza, but do enjoy the soups. The coffee and espresso drinks are great and they also have non dairy creamer for those that are dairy intolerant. They can make vegan cakes, even gf vegan cakes or cupcakes. Alison and everyone there is awesome to work with. Alison created a lemon basil cupcake for an event our women guild had hosted at church. She made a beautiful anniversary cake. The flourless chocolate cake is quite decadent and my mother's favorite is the lemon cake. We have enjoyed everything we have ordered from Daltons. It's worth a try and for those that are gluten free, it's a worry free experience and an oasis for those with allergies. read more
