Less than 100 miles later, the problem came back. I had to get everything replaced, and I had to pay for it a second time. When it happened a third time, I gave up and sold the car. I just did not want to deal with it anymore. The new owner later told me it was just a clogged brake line. Also, the shop lost the cap to my brake fluid reservoir. They denied it and did not have a replacement.

The last 4 times I went there I waited in the lobby for so many hours. If I had known it would be that long I would have went home. The last time was 5 and a half hours in the lobby! I tried to go home at hour 3 and was asked to stay (telling me it would be soon.) The prices have really gone up. He wouldn't charge me to look at it so I thought I was getting a good deal but with the high pricing it made up for it. Several hundred dollars cheaper at other places when I called around. I got an oil change here and I made an appointment for it. I waited 3 and a half hours in the lobby and it cost a little over 100$. I mentioned I was feeling the transmission slipping and was told they would take a look at it. At checkout they said nothing, I asked them about it and another 20 minutes later they came back and said it was fine maybe I could get a tune up soon. I brought it in again a few weeks later still with the transmission slipping. They said they found a sensor out and a few other things. I paid a little over 1000$ two separate times within 3 months. Each time I asked is it worth it, to fix it? What about the transmission? I got round about answers and was told fixing it was a good option. Now after putting almost 4000$ into it within a year my transmission needs to be replaced and I can't afford to fix it or get another vehicle! I don't have words for how I feel about that. I really trusted Adrian and so I trusted his crew and I feel like they really let me down and put me in a bad spot. I'm a single mom and I needed the honesty and care I had gotten from Adrian at the beginning but I guess things change.

Brought my Jeep in to fix a head gasket…read more Within days the head gasket failed and they said it was the fault of the manufacturer then said the block was pitted and needed to order a new part. If the block was pitted why didn't they see that when the engine was tore down?!. It took 3 months! Brought it back because the check engine light came on and they say the main seal was out and it was low on oil and metal shavings in the oil coming out of the oil pump and recommended we need a new engine. They were the only ones that had worked on our vehicle! Then our Jeep sat in their shop for 2 months. Then after that our Jeep has ran like shit!! Nothing but problems! Check engine light, traction control lights and abs light! I have now named my jeep Ding Ding and have ptsd when I drive it. Just waiting for all the dings and lights then it goes into limp mode and doesn't want to go! Left us a vehicle that is in worse condition than when it went there. This is my warning to everyone! Do not do business here. Btw, Steve (the owner) is aggressive, over talks and doesn't admit when they are at fault!

Wouldn't you check voltage to sensors, like FICM or any other related sensor? Refused any paper to me for what they did or didnt do. And owner threw the keys on the counter at me. I have owned a number of cars that i picked low at 100K miles, took to Mike and drove it for 250K…read more I have had all my transmissions R & R at Northstate Auto for 20 years and that includes when they were the Regional Service Standards Manager for all Lee Myles Transmission shops. I read the review and for those that are negative I can tell you this: 1. For every negative review, there have been 100 transmission R & R that are still running out there over 200K that were produced by Mike himself, with his own hands. 2. There are two sides to every story. I will tell you my story. Every single trans and clutch job I brought to Mike was and still is a success, 50K miles later. He doesn't remember this, but when he was lead Trans tech at the shop on State Ave, he put the automatic trans in my Nova and it run 100K. Right then and there I have follow him everywhere he has worked for 25 years. 8 different vehicles of all types from an F250 1996 that I run for 350K miles, to a 1991 Geo Metro 5 speed that NO ONE could figure out their ass from a hole in the ground. Mike made this car run 175K miles and the tran and clutch are like new. NO ONE could get the right clutch in that car. A month ago I brought it in for a value and lifter job. Now it runs like brand new motor. My oil gold. I have no exhaust and spark are light brown. NUTS! Do not listen to the 1 off negatives on this site. I have had projects that failed to, but it had more to do with the way that I went about it, then it did the mechanic. I will never take my cars any where else. Bones is the real deal. A good man, and truly honest, and trustworthy, and great at what he does. He did me a huge favor when I happened to roll to a stop outside his shop. He didn't have to.
