Not great, unfortunately. I started having brake issues. One wheel would stick after braking and…read moreoverheat. The shop replaced the calipers and discs, which was expensive. Less than 100 miles later, the problem came back. I had to get everything replaced, and I had to pay for it a second time. When it happened a third time, I gave up and sold the car. I just did not want to deal with it anymore. The new owner later told me it was just a clogged brake line. Also, the shop lost the cap to my brake fluid reservoir. They denied it and did not have a replacement.

I was so impressed that Ann jumped right in to opine what it was because I don't know much about cars. She directed me to the auto parts store to get a particular hose, I returned and she and Octavio went to town immediately! Tools, attachments, funnel and Ann even gave some of her specialized antifreeze that she said would really do the job. They burped the engine of air, put cap on and I was good to go! I can't complain about the price either, way less than I expected. Ann is very personable knowledgeable and said she teaches the public in classes how to fix their cars. What a generous person and establishment! Go there if you have any little issue not just transmission!!

I had to go there and hand them the phone multiple times. I would show up during business hours to the gate locked. Ultimately I sat there one day and waited for them to open the gate and got it towed to the dealership and it was fixed within weeks. I do not recommend them at all. Poor communication and total lack of respect. When my vehicle was towed away they called the tow company stating they owed them fees for vehicle storage after they explicitly told me I didn't owe them a dime. Highly recommend you go elsewhere.

We were in a pinch, as our water pump needed to be replaced before a coming road trip. Our regular…read moremechanic could not fit us in, but he recommended ONB, who was able to get us in that day (mid-July of 2026). ONB staff were very courteous and helpful, and good communicators. They replaced the water pump and found a few other concerns. Prices seemed high. They also asked if we wanted our rear brakes replaced (citing 4 mm status). We said no thank you but after our vacation double checked our paperwork from our regular mechanic. Sure enough, he had replaced our rear brakes in March of 2026. Since then, we'd put 1600 miles on the car. As a result of this observation by ONB, we took our car back to the original mechanic in August 2026. He wanted to confirm that the brakes were not defective. He removed the wheels and confirmed that they were still in perfect condition. Our mechanic stated that our front brakes would eventually need to be replaced, but no time soon. So, we were left wondering why ONB told us this information. My husband reached out to Tyler at ONB, asking why we were told our rear brakes were at risk. Tyler was polite and willing to dialogue. He stated that they must have made an error, that perhaps they wrote the information for another customer on our account. Tyler said that they wouldn't have replaced the rear brakes had we brought them in and the mechanic discovered their error. When my husband revealed that the front brakes were needing eventual replacement, Tyler stated that this must have been the issue - they meant to write front, not rear. In the best-case scenario, they would have discovered their error and not replaced the rear brakes. Worst case scenario, they were lying to us and trying to get us in for extra work. Either way, we don't feel comfortable returning.

Its probably been over a year since then. Yesterday, I limped into town on a flat tire. I needed to make it to Costco for warranty repair, and the tire couldn't hold air. I asked if they could help me fill it. A wonderful man named John popped the tire off, took it in the shop, proceeded to plug it and inflate it, and pop it back on. Wouldn't let me pay for his help. I drove away with happy tears, knowing my toddler and I would safely make it to lake Stevens. We wouldn't have made it without his help. Thank you, John. I went to Les Schwab because they'd replaced my tires recently. The sweet young guy (LS does not require much experience) sent me over to FS Autoworks who he felt could better diagnose. These older trucks are quirky! The owner, Jeremy, took the time to figure out what was actually going on--with some crazy old school electrical trick-- stayed with it right up until closing, and got me safely back on the road that day. What I appreciated most was the communication. He explained the issues clearly, helped me prioritize what needed to be addressed, and was mindful of cost constraints without ever compromising safety. As someone going through a divorce and trying to keep an old truck, a cabin renovation, and life in general moving forward, that meant a lot. I really felt so taken care of and trusted every recommendation. If you have a Diesel Truck, or any truck, FS Autoworks is the place to go. It's hard to find people who are both knowledgeable and honest. Jeremy was both.
