Cute little pub and four-lane bowling alley in the montage hotel. Nice and clean and very comfortable booths for large groups of people. $20 per person for one hour though is not cheap. Cocktails are not cheap either but it's a beautiful hotel. read more

This place deserves better recognition! It's not much from the first glance, being in the "basement" of Montage hotel; however, the food was really good and I wish I were hungrier so that I could have tried their pizza as well. We loved their pepper appetizer and could eat that every single day. Burgers were good. Wings were good. Next time, we'll come a bit earlier to play some arcade games and bowling too. read more

This is good food, like good if you're staying at the Montage, bowling, and get hungry (like us). But if your considering just coming here to eat, go elsewhere. For the price, there's definitely better options in Park City. We started with the Bavarian pretzel appetizer, and all four us actually liked them a lot. It was not stale, had a nice chew to it, salted well, and the mustard cheese dipping sauce was yummy. We tried the pastrami Ruben, and it was delicious! Perfect ratio of meat, pickled cabbage and sauce! The regular fries were not so good, greasy with little flavor. We shared the angry godfather pizza and for $21 I would hope it was big, with a nice crust and plentiful toppings. It was medium size, and the crust was thin and crispy, which if you like your crust that way then you like this, but I prefer a beefier crust. Toppings were average. Grilled Scottish salmon. Again, expensive for what you get. The salmon actually was cooked perfect and seasoned well, but had little vegetables, and the sauce kinda tasted like velveta cheese. Looking for a place to eat around 1:30P while skiing Deer Valley. Resort lodges all packed so took a chance on this restaurant. Waited about 7 min for a seat. Pleasant atmosphere and hostesses. We opted for the deviled eggs app. Given the menu description, we were both a bit let down because unless you crunched the jalapeno with your bite, there was little flavor elsewhere in the egg. No outstanding seasonings in the yolk mixture. We split the Reuben to avoid being too full to finish skiing, and chose the house made cheddar ranch chips. I didn't really taste the cheese and the ranch was a powder. Again, another disappointment. Next time we'll get the fruit or the salad. The sandwich had pickled red cabbage on it which gave it great flavor, though the Gruyere was not very discernible. Server, Eliott, was polite, though I wouldn't say chatty. He was, though, obviously busy and it was his idea to have the sandwich split in the kitchen. (I think it was an extra dollar?) Once his tables were served he was much more outgoing. (If you've ever waited tables, you know the feeling(s).) Pricing was typical, if not cheap for the quality, atmosphere, table service & choices. $17 Reuben and $8 eggs. Then came the glass of wine my husband ordered - 4-5 oz pour, lower end of the $ scale (Bodega Norton Malbec) - $14. He liked it but said for the price he'd skip it next time. Wow! Lovely service. Daly's was closed for a private party... I was bummed because I was hoping to get a slice of cheesecake for my husband's birthday. However! The manager came out and asked me if I needed something and I asked if it would be possible to get the cake. He sold to hold tight and went into the restaurant only to return with a slice of Banoffee Cheesecake with a candle and matches for me to take away without charge as it was a birthday treat. So nice and it was very delicious, too!!! Thank you Daly's for the lovely treat. My husband loved the surprise! read more

We dropped in for dinner this past Monday as it's a great place to entertain the kids while watching the national championship. There are ample video games in addition to bowling and the food is pretty good, particularly the angry godfather pizza. There are sanitizing stations everywhere and the manager frequently walked around to remind kids to where masks. read more

Came here when Burgers and Bourbon was closed for a private event. Interesting family oriented space with food & games. Our waitress seemed a bit nervous and aloof initially, but warmed up later on. Our pretzels must've been sitting for a while because the cheese was lukewarm and congealed when it arrived at our table. The chicken pot pie is extremely good and the one thing I'd come back for. Described as an upscale pub. What makes it upscale? The fact that it has a bowling alley, gorgeous pool tables and an exposed kitchen with a wood-fired grill. Chicken pot pie was awesome. 5 stars (though it's a painful $19). Cuban sandwich was ok. 3 stars. Bloody Mary was probably the blandest in Park City. 2 stars. Very, very good service, which is what pushes the ranking up to 4 stars. If were to go back, I'd probably go for wine instead of cocktails, and try a pizza. Big TV's, so if you're interested in a game of some sort, this is primo spot. It's located in the super-swanky Montage in Deer Valley atop the Empire Pass. Having eaten here over two years ago in which I enjoyed the casual dining experience coupled with the various arcade machines, 3 lane bowling alley, and the western theme bar stools I was looking forward to recreating the same experiences when it came to the bacon wrapped rolled meat loaf which was amazing. Unfortunately, I did not realize that the menu changes depending on the season and this time around they did not offer this entrée. Luckily, they had a chicken pot pie which was nicely done with peas and carrots. The shell and crust were baked just right and the portion size was spot on for my what I was seeking that night. Although they do not have a large menu selection, they do have a wood burning pizza oven which is a plus if you have children tagging along. Haley who was my server two years ago remembered me from my last visit after some banter conversation between the two of us. Service was top notch and for those in the Park City area looking for a casual restaurant pub atmosphere suitable for all ages, I highly recommend this place even if you are not a guest at the Montage. Great for kids and adults. Bowling, video games, darts, and more -- and of course the food. Going here twice I had the pheasant sausage pizza once and the short rib the next time. Both were unusual and fabulous. Service is very friendly and attentive. Yes, perhaps pricey as commented in other reviews but this is Park City. At first I did not realize that this is the same Montage brand I have been to in Laguna Beach and going here it really reminds me of a Four Seasons to which I have more experience with. I visited The Montage's pub and did not stay in this fine hotel. After skiing the morning at the magnificent Deer Valley resort it was time for lunch. My go-to place is The Royal Street Cafe but today I wanted to check out the pub. You are greeted by a member of staff who directs you where to park your skis and points you in the direction of Dalys Pub. In the basement you are greeted and then seated. The Pub is in the basement with no windows. There are two pool tables, dart boards, arcade games, flat scene tvs hooked up to Wii consoles and a bowling alley! Cooooool!! The food is 5 star, I had a chicken panini on Friday and a salmon salad on Saturday. Both meals were fantastic, $16 & $19 respectively, not cheap but if you're skiing DV you've already committed to a large financial outlay already. Kids ate Mac & cheese and homemade fries, equally great at $10. Of course they loved the consoles and it was a little difficult to praise them away after lunch. The only negative for me is the location, no view of the outside, the walls are beige with no artwork/artifacts. It's very vanilla. I'll go back because the kids love it, I'd prefer a view! read more

Daly's was empty, which offered a huge open carpet for a baby to explore. Cool! Many of the dishes were strangely and sadly heaped with a pile of breadcrumbs. To the restaurant's credit, when a diner complained about a Utah pour (!), his wine glass came back filled to the brim. read more

I ate her two times during my stay at the montage deer valley. It was a great place. Fun atmosphere and good food. The first night I ordered the grilled chicken paillard. My mother ordered the fish and chips. Both were great. The next time we ate there for a late lunch we ordered the angry Hawaiian and the Sicilian and split them. Both were so good! I love jalapenos - which were on the angry Hawaiian. They were good portions, so we had leftovers. There is a room with games and TV's. There were also TV's throughout the restaurant and by the bar. They had pool tables and a bowling alley. I didn't get a chance to play any of the games, but next time I will. The staff were very friendly as well. read more

Fun spot in the "basement" of the Montage Resort. Definitely more "upscale" than a place would be with bar games, bowling, and pub food - of course it is, because it's at the Montage. Service is, just like pretty much everything at the Montage, top-notch. Prices are surprisingly "reasonable" (again, for the location) and food is tasty and hearty. Came here for dinner in August, so it wasn't busy, and started with the hummus and veggies/pita appetizer, which wasn't the best hummus ever, but we were starving and tired, so it fit the bill well. For mains, we each had a veggie burger and shared a side of fries. The fries were sufficiently hot and crispy, and included a side of mystery mayo, which we didn't use (we're more into ketchup). Veggie burgers were a refreshing step up from the norm - used delicious jasmine rice to "bind" the burger together rather than cheese or bread crumbs. Bun was fresh, toasted, and really tasty. Burger was topped with super well-executed guac and sprouts. Served also with a side salad composed of leafy greens with a bit of balsamic vinaigrette. Total for two with tip was about $60 - not bad and the games are fun, too! read more

While staying at the montage with 2 of our kids, this was an amazing place for adults and kids. Food has all the staples for kids like pizza, Mac and chees, etc, and has mountain fair such as chili, nachos, French onion soup....everything to keep you warm after a day on the slopes. Tricky Review. The pub is definitely a more expensive pub with less bang for your buck on food; $18 for a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Portions could have been bigger. However, the entire experience was well worth it. Parking is free valet, so bring a few extra $bills to tip. I would highly recommend the place for the atmosphere. We had a group of 12 and there were various "free" activities. Darts, foozball, pool, shuffleboard table, and some Wii consoles. After dinner we went upstairs to the fire pit outside and had complimentary s'mores. I'd come back, but not on a budget. Beautiful resort. If I didn't want the atmosphere and was with people who would spend a bit more, the Apex restaurant above looked rather good too. read more

Came here for dinner, with a big group and lots of kids. The kids loved playing on the wii's and arcade games, as well as the bowling alley. It took an hour and a half to get our table, and we were quickly served our food. I had the chicken and waffles which was very small, and not so good, my friend had the fish and chips she enjoyed, even though our server spilt her glass of wine giving it to her, and the kids had pizza and grilled cheese and Mac, nothing too spectacular. We then waited another hour for a bowling lane and enjoyed a cinnamon bun during. Wasn't a horrible experience but pricey for what it was. Tried to stop in for lunch today as we've done every year since it opened. After working our way over from the other side of the mountain and having my kids Uber from PC, we were denied. The manager and his manager said "no way, we are fully committed for hotel guests." The reason we choose this spot is because it's first come first served no reservations. Surprising for supposed top resort with a restaurant with only six tables ( most tables were empty)with guests. I hate to think what its like during season. The manager offered me a glass of wine for the wait and poor food had the audacity to charge me due to "Utah state law". Next time, he shouldn't bother. Upstairs head management was equally as non caring . Perhaps I would have considered the resort for a future stay had our experience been great but not only was it terrible they lost a potential new client. If go head to Deer Valley go to any of the great restaurants in the area. Only cool aspect here is the bowling alley and game arcade but even that isn't enough to go here. Save your money. read more

Super fun place for the family. Good food, great bowling, neat arcade! We celebrated my twins' birthday there while on vacation in Park City and couldn't have had a better night. The kids buffet was perfect and plentiful - and only $12! The pastrami reuben sandwich was delicious... and at the end of our night, our server brought out 2 huge, decadent pieces of cake for the birthday kiddos - plenty to share for our party of 9. This is our fourth consecutive Thanksgiving ski week in Park City and each year, we spend Thanksgiving at Dalys. It is so kid friendly, my children look forward to it every year. The staff is brilliant, extremely attentive and incredibly patient with the little ones. The bowling is my kids favorite but there are video games, fuze ball and darts for lots of family bonding. If you want the tradition, play at Dalys and book a reservation at Apex for dinner. Kudos to the Montage for creating a great family friendly atmosphere. read more

This is a cool place to check out. Nice sports memorabilia. Cool games, it's great for kids. Swanky bowling lanes. Obvisouly it is expensive, you are at the Montage in Park City. However I don't mind the prices but, I would expect to get higher quality food for those prices. The food seems pretty average and it is not cheap. read more

After a day of skiing, my large group of adults and kids decided to end our evening at a family-friendly establishment. Daly's Pub and Rec was perfect!! Its located inside the beautiful luxury Montage Resort in Deer Valley. Even though the hotel is located on Empire Mountain with beautiful views, don't expect to see any from this place. The pub is located on the lower level of the hotel....no windows. However, its a very fun atmosphere. A little pricey. But, what do you expect its Deer Valley at the Montage. Its first come first serve. Bowling is $10/person per game, shoe rental $5/person.There were two pool tables, 4 flat screens with Wiis connected to each, a variety of arcade games (with retro games to choose from such as Cennipede, Galaga, Pac Man, etc. for us older folks). Games are reasonable at .25 a play. I found the food to be okay. I ordered the award-winning chicken pot pie, which was a hefty $19. While the portion wasn't too bad and enough to fill me up, it taste somewhat bland. I had to add salt and pepper. A friend had the reuben ($18) and liked it. The kids meals are $11 for mac and cheese, grilled cheese, and kids burgers, etc. Overall a great place to hang out. read more

At the ridiculously expensive and hyper luxurious Montage, this bar is a great respite. Affordable prices and pretty good food, along with truly excellent service. But the best part is that the kids can run wild at the bowling alley, the video game area, or the table games area (pool, air hockey, foosball, etc.). A lot of room for large groups.
