Food was great, however the service could have been better. We we're told we could sit at the bar or wait 45 for a table, so we sat at the bar. Two bartenders walked past us several times even as we tried getting their attention. A few minutes later a bartender brought menus and walked away as I tried to ask for a beer. Apparently she heard me because she brought me a beer, but walked away as my wife tried to order a drink. We finally got our orders in and noticed that there were a ton of tables available, but seemed like they were short staffed that night hence the 45 min wait. My family stopped at Dam Bar & Grille for lunch. We had the worst server that we have ever had at a restaurant. He rolled his eyes at our questions and didn't bring us what we asked for. He brought the wrong sauce and when we asked for the correct sauce he very dramatically rolled his eyes again. We were driving through Page and couldn't decide where or what to eat. We saw Dam Plaza and figured they'd have a restaurant or two so we pulled in and headed to Dam. The prices are comparable to other restaurants in town for the most part with one exception - the flatbread pizzas - what a bargain! I got the hippie flatbread for $8.99 and it was LOADED with veggies that were arranged so that I got every veggie in every bite, it was perfect! Their soup of the day was beef and mushroom for $5.99 and that was extremely good too. Big chunks of beef and mushrooms in a flavorful beef broth really hit the spot. So much food for so little money in a tourist town was a very pleasant surprise. There is plenty of parking in the plaza lot. The staff was attentive and very friendly so the experience was great. And the restaurant is well laid out for social distancing and about half of the staff wore masks, so we felt pretty safe dining there too. We came here twice for dinner while we were in town for 2 nights. It was excellent. The first night we had the jambalaya, the prime rib dip, the chicken wings, the Mac n cheese (kids) everything was delicious. I'm a huge wing snob too, and let me tell you, they were so juicy and cooked to perfection. They had many options to choose from as far as spicy/lemon pepper/garlic ect. I went with buffalo (medium) . The following night we all decided we didn't want to try another place because it was just that good. We, the party of 6 returned, once again our meals were wonderful. Service was great, drinks are stiff and we had an amazing time, left dull and delighted. I would definitely recommend coming to this place, ordering the cheese fries as an appetizer too, we did that the second night and they were the bomb. Besides the awfully high prices, terrible meal prep. Firstly: The AZ Cobb Salad- My girlfriend ordered the AZ Cobb Salad without chicken, because she's pescetarian. She asked if they could substitute codd fish instead, since that is offered as an option on their Caesar salad (where it is offered as grilled Cobb). When it came out it did have codd... Beer battered codd, which they must have had plucked from their fish tacos prep. The avocados must have been sliced a while ago because they were dark brown. All for a pleasant $14. Second: The salad that I ordered was supposed to come with "grilled chicken". There was nothing grilled about the cold, packaged, bite size pieces that came on my salad. The biggest piece of "grilled" chicken, of the few that were actually in my salad, was the size of my pinky nail. All in all, I understand this is not a salad restaurant. I truly cannot remember the last time I ordered one as my dinner, especially after a long day of hiking. But after seeing the outrageous prices for everything else they offered, it forced our hands. And after observing how they completely messed up the simplest of dishes to throw together, I can't recommend this place to anyone. If you like good service or any service for that matter when you go to a restaurant, this place is not for you. I come to Page for work often and haven given this place several chances. In my 40 years I would say its the worst service ever for me. The servers and bartenders play on their phones and socialize with each other. Meanwhile I haven't been checked on in 20 mins and everybody's drinks are empty. To pay my tab I had to go to the bar and flag a bartender down since my server was too busy on their phone to help us. Came here for lunch after checking out the sites in Page. Wasn't expecting much due to the other reviews but the rest of the family and I were hungry. To our surprise the food and the service were top notch! I got the bacon blue burger and the wife got chicken parmesan wings. I don't know how to rate this place. I came here a year ago after the lake Powell half marathon and had a great experience. Awesome burger and great service. So when I suggested going back to the dam bar after this years half marathon, my wife was all for it. Bad move. Walked in and immediately got a seat at the bar, almost the same place we sat last year. And then the wheels fell off the bus. Blonde bitch bartender ignored us for an extraordinary period of time, then took our menus and told us the kitchen wasn't taking tickets for 30-40 minutes. No explanation. I asked. No explanation. She said she'd tell us when they started serving food again, then disappeared. So we wait. Then, we see food brought out to a guy at a table behind us at the bar, who came in 10 min after us. Then, we see a waitress bring out a full tray of burgers. Blonde bitch then hands a menu to a couple who just sat down at the bar. That was enough for me. Time to go. Dam Bar, you took a great experience one year and fucked it up completely by having the bitchiest bartender on earth piss me off. I won't return, which is sad because you did have a great burger. For such a small city, there's quite a number of food options which is a good thing. We arrived 1 1/2 early for our lower antelope tour with Ken's Tour so we dropped by here for lunch before heading out. The place was relatively empty except for a few people at the bar and another table with a group of teenagers. The place is quite huge and maybe it does get busy but I don't think you'll ever have trouble finding a table. The atmosphere is rather dark and has a sports bar kind of feel. TV's are on every wall and in the bathroom so you don't miss any action even when answering nature's call. The food. You'll burgers, pastas, pizzas. Nothing exceptional. Pretty average all around. We ended up getting some Medium Spicy Chicken Wings and a Combination Pizza and a Macaroni + Cheese for the little fella. $22 for a pizza might seem outrageous but this thing is no joke. The 3 of us couldn't finish the pizza and ending up taking to go 4 slices of pizza. Makes for a good breakfast -- served cold that is. Overall, it's not a bad place to get some food when you're hungry. The prices were a little bit high but you do get big portions. read more

Let me preface this by saying that there are truly few decent restaurants in Page at all. Mostly fast food and greasy local spots. ....but places like the Dam take advantage of this fact as an excuse to serve mediocre food at high prices. The atmosphere here is pretty cool, they have a sports bar vibe in the front and a decent booth area (with large aluminum boat indoors!), but our dinner was spoiled sitting next to the kitchen exit. Apparently this is the happening spot for the wait staff to hang out and gossip (and insult each other loudly). My girlfriend was really put off by this... The food was edible. Not great, but not worth the price either. It was just under $40 for a couple of burgers, one beer and a soft drink. Don't set expectations high for "fine dining" and you'll be alright. Next time I'd skip the meal, pre-run at a burger joint, and just grab drinks here. Again, not many options in Page.. read more

Located in a strip mall but the place is pretty roomy. It has s big bar and lots of televisions atriums it . Then a glass wall separated family dining . It has some nice history about the GlenCanyon Dam. A little pricey but for what is available in town it's worth it. Night 1 we had rib eye it had good flavor and was cooked well . Tonight are burgers . Was the only place we could find in town that served drinks and had people in it , several other restraints didn't seem to have the people. Staff is friendly .
