We arrived in Page for a few days and needed something to eat before finding our accommodations. We were seated quickly and a very nice man served our table quickly and efficiently. We got decent food in a reasonable amount of time. I got a "hippie" flat bread pizza and my sister got really good french fries and the surfer- with avocado, sprouts, turkey.... Very good just a lot of bread. The bathrooms were adequate and the atmosphere was sort of loud as a sports bar is, but that is ok.- you know what you are getting! The food was okay, the service was slow. They have a decent selection of beers on tap. I had the turkey avocado sandwich and the turkey tasted smoked which wasn't in the description, I wish I had gotten the French dip instead. You have three options for your side: dam chips, fries, and a salad. The server recommended the dam chips and it was easily the best part of the meal- think curly fry seasoning but in a coin shape. On our last night in Page, we decided to stop by here for dinner. There wasn't much of a wait, so we were immediately seated. They have a lot of options to choose from, and we could tell that the night was pretty busy. I ordered the 10 oz ribeye, which comes with your choice of 2 sides (I got garlic-parmesan mashed potatoes and house salad). I ordered the ribeye medium rare, and it was more of a medium. The steak itself was more fatty than lean though. It was just decent, and the mashed potatoes were somewhat dry. My bf ordered the skinny dip, which is a prime rib sandwich with au jus sauce. The prime rib sandwich was pretty good, but for some reason, I didn't like the super salty after taste. You have the choice of ordering it with dam chips or fries, but we opted for the french fries. I thought it was all right. Prices can be somewhat steep, food is overall just decent. Service is okay (our waitress looked like she didn't want to be there). If I could give -1000 star for this restaurant I would I'm a heartbeat. My friend and I, two Asian young lady, drove almost 7 hours to get here and came to this as our choice of restaurant. A lady with short curly hair immediately hit us with racism, real obvious racism. Taking to us in a different tone and an attitude of really unwilling to help us, discrimination can be smelled in the air. We asked she put us in a table outside( there were so many tables open outside and inside) she instead said can I just put you two in a bar? All three times, the staff was attentive and engaging. Food wasn't as good. Pizza had no flavor (but, lots of bland cheese). Burger was overdone and the fries greasy. And, the Philly Cheesesteak shouldn't have that Philly connection. The "steak" included was more akin to drippings leftover from a steak-fry; tasty, but, non existent. Seems like the last two reviews are bad. I did not find any problem with this bar. We were seated fast, and the food came in pretty fast too. We ordered a cesar salad to share, which was pretty good, and fish tacos and their blue cheese burger speciality. Everything was delicious and not crazy expensive as other places in the area. If you are in for good burgers, come to this place!! Also, they take COVID19 seriously. All employes weat mask and respect social distancing. Despite the lower star rating, this place was recommended by a friend and I don't know why it doesn't have more stars. The food was great and the service was even better. Escaped the heat of the night with an amazing meal and friendly staff. Our party enjoyed the AZ Cobb salad (crisp and all fresh ingredients), kids meals of burgers and fries (fries has a great seasoning along whatever fry sauce it was a must), the Skinny Dip (amazing melt in your mouth prime rib), Peppercorn Bacon Bleu burger with a side of the boom boom sauce). Came here after visiting Horseshoe Bend and the Chicken Pesto Panini was excellent. We'd been staying in the Grand Canyon and food there is pretty bad barring one restaurant, and this was a nice change. Atmosphere is nice as well. read more

When we got to Page, AZ we set the RV up in the Walmart parking lot. We were Boon docking! So we unloaded the Jeep and wen to the Dam Bar & Grill because of the info I saw on YELP and that the name made me laugh. What a cool place. First off we found this place in the Dam Plaza!!! (HAHAHAHA). Our server was Richard. Nice kid and very pleasant. We both got the chicken sandwich. It was good and very hardy. But let's talk about the atmosphere of the place. Gang, it was off the charts. It look like the inside of the Dam at the Glenn Canyon. Everything from the walls to the electric power transformer. It even had a few boats inside!! While in Page it was hard to find anything that was above a 3 stars. This is a pretty solid 3 star place. The menu has no surprises. The food is good (better than okay) the service was attentive so maybe push the rating up to 3.5 stars? The food was actually pretty good. The staff was super friendly but goodness, they need some basic server training. We only received 2 menus and silverware (there were 3 of us). We had to constantly ask for things, like water refills, napkins, and extra silverware. We asked for the pasta alfredo with chicken and broccoli. It came without the chicken and broccoli so we just kindly asked to make sure it wasn't on the bill. I got the skinny french dip sandwich and it was awesome. Was wary of coming here due to the relatively low rating, but decided to just go for it since it was one of the few places in town open at night and without a huge wait. Very friendly servers here with plenty of seating. The food was also quite good. It has your standard pub food, but with their own little twists as most pubs do.
