First time at Dam Bar and Grill. Went for dinner after Slot Canyon tour to get the grit out of our mouths. We were told it would be a half-hour wait but there were empty tables in the bar. After waiting 10 mins, we asked about those tables and the hostess said: "Go right in". Not a very bright hostess. We were greeted very quickly by our server/bartender and offered menus and drinks. Once drinks arrived, my wife ordered a hamburger with a lettuce 'bun' and fries and I ordered the black and bleu burger with soup. Our meal arrived in about 10 mins and my soft drink was refilled. Both burgers were cooked medium well (we weren't asked) but were still juicy. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions on the side and ketchup plus mustard were offered. The black and bleu burger didn't really get the blackened treatment or was just overwhelmed by the 1/4 pound of bleu cheese. Not sure which. I like bleu but it was piled high and I had to scrape some off. The soup was very good. Overall the food was good but the hostess service and overworked bartender (our server) could have been much better. read more

What a terrible place! No greetings from Any of the staff. We sat ourselves down. The sign stated for us to do so. Our server was Awful. He looked pissed off, no warmth, he's cold as the weather outside. Ordered our food, food came and he left. You would think he notice we had no utensils. We had to wait for him to pass by again to ask for utensils. The fried Zucchini was horrible. Thinly sliced coated with bread crumbs full on grease. The Cobb salad had no dressing, had to ask for that too. Soup of the day broccoli cheese yuk! Salty, runny. Clam chowder soup also salty we didn't eat it after 2 bites. We had two other dishes couldn't recall the name let just say it was dry and hard. My daughter didnt even touch it after one taste. Our bill came to $98 and still my husband tip him 15%. Unfortunately, the rating of this restaurant matches the service and the quality of food served. I ordered pan fried tilapia. The crust had no flavor, but tasted burnt. The tilapia was juicy and flaky. The rice and veggies were pretty flavorless, in addition they were lukewarm, not hot. The chicken rice soup was good, but too spicy to my taste. The baked potato was really small. The southwestern salad was ok. Mostly lettuce with a bit of veggies and half avocado. Not sure if I could recommend this place unless anything else is closed. read more

Came here from out of town. We have been road tripping through all of Utah's national parks for going on a week. We opted to go to horseshoe bend & Grand Canyon before heading home. Decided to splurge and stop for a pizza (per my sons request) since we haven't been eating out, we called at 6:58 and asked what the wait time was. The guy who answered was hesitant but asked how many of us there were & when we told him 3 he said he could accommodate us. Young female hostess in a floral & striped skater dress saw us & said sorry they weren't seating people until 730. We informed her that we had just called and showed her the call. She said fine, I don't know who told you that though. So we proceeded to sit at the table for 30 minutes while hostesses, waitresses, waiters and whom I believe to be the bartender proceeded to walk past us and not even acknowledge that we were there. There was a table of 15 that was there and a few tables of 3 here and there in the front. The back of the restaurant also had tables. But 30 minutes without even acknowledging patrons is unacceptable regardless of how busy it is. My cousin went to the bar & explained we had been sitting there & hadn't been acknowledged. They took our order...1 pizza. The waitress finally comes over and I asked if we were going to be getting a discount since we had been ignored. She said she was there to get our drinks. A woman in shorts and a gaiter came over & said I already put their order in. This is the group that said they called in and said they could be seated even though we weren't seating people. There's like what, 15 places to choose from while staying in Page? I think this restaurant is a good choice. My husband and I had the potato skins and split the fajitas (they were a Wednesday night special). We also chose the split pea with bacon soup to split, as it was a choice with our entree. We first sat at the bar and ordered a beer and a wine while we waited for our table. The restaurant seemed to be short staffed as everyone was busy while we waited a brief moment to be served but we didn't mind...again it's Page, AZ. We watched the bartender observe our table, but continued texting on her phone... With no customers at her bar. I have visited the Dam Bar & Grille a few times, each experience more "eh" than the last. For starters, it took 45 minutes to receive our appetizers. Loaded nachos for an appetizer, hubs had a steak and mashed potatoes, and I had their open face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Lord have mercy did we leave there stuffed! I thought I was going to have to be pushed out by wheelbarrow. Each dish was delicious, and we had the best time! We really wanted to find a place in town to have lunch, drink a beer, and access WiFi for a little while so this seemed to be the best choice. We were greeted immediately by the smiling hostess. Getting the bartender's attention took a little longer but we weren't bothered by lack of attention since she was very friendly and attentive the rest of the time. My wife and I came to Page to explore Lake Powell for a couple days. Our hotel receptionist recommendced Dam Bar, so we gave it a rip. We were not dissappointed! In fact, we liked it so much we went 2 nights in a row! The first night we shared a delicious flatbread (pepperoni, jalepenos, olives, and mushrooms) and drinks (prickly pear margarita and strawberry mule). The next night we shared a bacon blue burger and more drinks (2 more mules; peach and raspberry). All the food and drink both nights was excellent and amazingly reasonable! It is safe to say, if we were to be here a 3rd night, we would definitely eat at Dam Bar and Grill! read more
