We arrived for a one night stay, the campground based on my desires (steak and an old fashioned) recommended The Dam. Diana ( hope I have the correct spelling) was our server. My wife wanted pizza and I wanted steak. Diana ensured we understood the size of each entree so we could make a good decision.. the service was quick and friendly. The food was excellent (especially my wife's pizza- beef and garlic). This is a sports bar with a sports bar atmosphere. Don't go here expecting anything but average to slightly below average bar food. Despite the high recommendation from a friend of an employee, this was not good. We both ordered off of the restaurant menu, thinking it was a restaurant with a great sports bar attached. Imagine spaghetti and meat balls from a bar. Ya. Exactly. My partner ordered a 12 ounce ribeye, and it was 3/8" thick. We were surprised it was possible to cook it medium rare, but they did. It was propped up on wilted lettuce to make it look thicker than it was. Ambiance was early bar and grill (5:00 pm). Waiter was young and inexperienced and knew nothing but he tried very hard. If not for him, this would be a one star because of the price. If we ever come thru here again, we will go next door to the sushi bar that had lines out into the parking lot. We came here at the recommendation from some Airbnb guests and our taxi driver. We sat at the bar and got some drinks and ordered some food. Cocktail: Prickly pear marg. I liked it. It was light and refreshing and it wasn't overly sweet. App: Spinach artichoke dip. Very creamy with lots of artichoke and cheese. Chips were crisp and plentiful. Chicken wings: Sriracha honey and Garlic Parmesan. I didnt taste much of the garlic flavor. There wasn't much of a parmesan flavor since it was sprinkled on top and not incorporated in the sauce. The sriracha honey was salty but otherwise okay. French fries: Sorry to say but they tasted frozen. I ate the smaller pieces since they were the crispy ones. The larger pieces were a little soggy. Pretty bland, we didn't eat much of this. We got our food in a reasonable amount of time and our bartender/waitress was a little sassy but we were tended to. This is the ultimate most bestest place to eat. If you want spin dip they got it!!! After a nice hard day on the lake come in here to eat the shade racks and cool air, the people are pretty cool people and share some stories about the lake. First lunar new year meal in Arizona - our server was excellent and attentive - Jenny! You're the best! Thank you. -The food was great! Now the bad: When I asked if the bottom is supposed to be burnt, the response I received was, "there's nothing I can do about it now". It was a simple question. Some places purposely burn the bottom of the pizza. The bartender was more concerned with taking care of their 'regular', and watching the Indiana Fever game, than taking care of his customers. Hmmm... great place compared to what the town has to offer. There's not that many options to choose from in this tiny town but this one is one of the best options you can have. During my stay at page we tried floors places and this one's is my second favorite. We only tried the drinks here and not the food. I think they had less than 5 cocktails on their menu. I choose the margarita and it was good. Servers were great and friendly. I thought the design/atmosphere of the restaurant was great and one of a kind. Worth a try if you're visiting! read more

The nachos without meat were mediocre - decent flavor, lots of broken chips at the bottom. Some pockets of too much seasoning. The salsa had lots of seasoning - cumin. I ordered the A-BLT and onion rings. The rings were very good, and the BLT had big wedges of avocado on good sourdough. It was good, but not great. Companions ordered: Santa Fe salad. Very good, very fresh, and innovative battered and fried green chiles that were very tasty (I took one and put it on the A-BLT and it made the sandwich better!). Good dressing. Skinny dip (French dip) was very good. The "dam chips" - very thick cut chips that are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside were very good! I endured insurmountable thirst for the duration of my visit because our waiter never refilled our water. He spent most of his time chatting with the table next to us, and almost none attending to any of the other tables he was waiting on. This restaurant is very inconsistent. The server we had was demeaning and rude and kept referring to me as sweetie and baby girl when I made it very clear that it made me uncomfortable. He spoke badly of the owners saying "they don't pay me enough for you not to tip well" when dropping off the check then let us know that it is a small town and he wouldn't have a hard time finding us if we didn't "take care of him." The bartender was I. The restroom with me and my daughter, used the restroom then walked back behind the bar to make drinks without washing her hands. The chicken was not fully cooked on my sandwich and the drinks mediocre for the price. We ordered take out visiting a few months before and the food was delicious but we had not received some of the items we payed for and a salad with no dressing. I used to love this place but it has gone down hill tremendously and the people currently working here expect large tips for horrible service. Do yourself a service and stay away from this place. My family and I will not be returning. read more

We stopped here after touring Antelope Canyon to warm up with a glass of wine and a snack. The inside of the restaurant is modeled after the Glen Canyon dam which is pretty creative for a restaurant. After looking at the menu and not being totally starving (so we thought) at 4 pm, we decided on flatbreads. Our waitress was great and the huge restaurant was very empty at this odd time. I had a glass of petite sirah which was a pleasant surprise and reasonably priced. I ordered the hippie flatbread (mushrooms,red onions, spinach, tomato, artichoke hearts, bell peppers, black olives, broccoli, garlic, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. It was only $8.99 for a whole pizza! It was flatbread so the crust was obviously thin, but they still stacked the veggies on top. It was exactly what I was looking for. My boyfriend enjoyed his meat lovers flatbread too. We intended for this to be a happy hour, but the pizzas were so big it was our whole dinner. My boyfriend also ordered the lightly baked cookie dough dessert (because it's vacation), and I had a glass of Cabernet for my dessert. ;) We recommend the flatbreads at this conveniently located restaurant in the Dam Plaza in Page. read more

A restaurant designed after the Glen canyon dam, it's got all the designs down like your eating at the dam. From decorations like the dam wall to boats in the river. Kind of an interesting place and average food at best When we got there, it took us about 20 minutes to get a table and then it seemed like it took another 30 minutes to get our food order in. It's was a busy Friday night and i understand that since it was the bartender handling the huge bar area. As we got the food, we ordered some nachos which came out first and then a flat bread pizza. The Nacho's were a cheese explosion that easily can be a meal. We shared the Nacho's but plenty of food for sure with just that. Then I got the hippie flat bread pizza thinking it would of been small. Maybe I should of asked on how big it was, but that was a good amount of food and tasted ok. The veggies and the sauce are good, but it just seemed a little flat on the dough taste All around, it's a ok restaurant but not a place that I would be going out of my way to eat at. Dining with a group of nine at Dam Bar & Grill was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely amazing. One of us ordered the pineapple burger paired with a refreshing pineapple Malibu drink, which was a unique and enjoyable combination. Another member of our party tried the sirloin steak with Dam fries, and they were outstanding. While the tomato basil soup was slightly salty, it still had a great flavor. The place boasts a diverse selection of beers on tap, making it a perfect spot to relax. This restaurant was recommended from our tour guide from The Wilderness River Adventures. This restaurant was really good. There's a replica of the Glen Canyon Dam, which was cool. We ordered the pretzel sticks as an appetizer - it came with 4 sticks (picture only shows 2 since we ate 2 before the picture was taken). The pretzels were soft, which I appreciated, but as you got toward the middle they were cold. The cheese sauce and mustard were good. I ordered the A-BLT sandwich. It was delicious. It came with "Dam chips" which were essentially round French fries, but were very good. My friend ordered The Surfer sandwich, which she enjoyed. Despite of some negative comments here, my lunch here was actually good. I had a french dip sandwich for lunch and food was quite tasty. I tired their house fries and it was flavorful. It just got a bit too salty after about eating a half of them. Beer was cold. Local Dam amber was nice and cold, since they had to open a new keg, beer came after lunch was served. Perhaps if I had beer first, saltiness of fries wouldn't have bothered me as much. Service was very friendly and prompt. When he found out about the beer situation, he came back immediately and told me about a wait. He kept coming back to inform their progress.
