I'm not fond of middle eastern falafel but this place made me think twice. Ordering is very simple as it is all laid out on the TV screen and the ladies were very patient so no worries there. The place is very clean. I ordered the steak plate therefore turned out to be a little pricey. Nevertheless, the food was good. Steak could be a little tender but everything tasted great. I tried little of all 3 dips and turned out the eggplant tasted the best. It also came with side dishes and I like the one with yogurt in it. I got the chicken wrap and my husband got the chicken plate. I love all the sides they have to garnish the dish. Fresh and fully seasoned salads. This place lives up to all of the reviews. Falafel/shawarma is pretty mainstream now so it takes something really special to stand out. Damascus Falafel sure rises to that challenge. In addition to wraps they offer bowls with a choice of bulgur, rice, or lettuce as the base. I had to get the bulgur and I was so glad I did! They have several different pre-mixed salad toppings and a variety of complimentary add-ons to tailor your wrap or bowl to your taste. It was really delicious and the portion size was a perfect meal - not too large but definitely not too small. I'll definitely stop in the next time I'm near Chicago! read more

Best chicken schwarma wrap I've ever had. There's a lot of options to customize, but I just go with what the guy behind the counter recommends. Fiancée loves the falafel pita. Good coffee too. I had the falafel plate with lettuce and spicy hummus. The portion size was perfect (actually a little large). This can easily be a low carb meal if you don't get the pita, but the pita was warm and soft and I couldn't resist. Having lettuce without the rice did not seem to ruin the meal. In fact it was one of the most filling salads I've ever had although technically called a plate and not a salad. Everything was fresh and the falafel itself was great. The casual atmosphere means that you got your food fast and didn't have a waitstaff to tip. The restaurant appears new and modern with the menus on flatscreen TVs. This might be my new favorite restaurant and for sure the only place I'll go to get falafel. read more

Great place! We were in the area and looked up all the yelp reviews. Not many places have an overall 5 star rating and this one did so thought of checking it out. Completely agree with the rating! Since they were out of chicken I had their damascus falafel wrap and lentil soup and both were outstanding! The falafels were made to order and the lentil soup and the wrap combo was very tasty and quite filling. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be a regular although the place is very far - maybe one day they will open a branch in Naperville :) read more

First time there today, ordered a delicious classic falafel dish with a side of fries and a Coke. The grilled wrap is the way to go and is a lot better than a traditional "pocket" falafel dish. Everyone was super helpful for recommendations and had a great smile. My wife went back up for the baklava, which was affordable and they said it was not made at the restaurant, but was made at "a local bakery". It was very good. Would recommend!! read more
