This place is awesome! I might even go as far to say that they're my new favorite Mediterranean spot near me. The shawarma plates are unbeatable: freshly prepared shawarma over an open flame, rice, your choice of two sides and served with a generous potion of pita bread. I highly recommend the salad and hummus, but everything is super delicious! The portions will leave you more than satisfied, all for a decent price to boot. Not my style at all. Nice workers. Good hummus. Terrible bland garlic sauce. Dry flavorless rice. Hard pita. I've been disappointed 2 times now. Only because it's so close to my house. The drive to Georgies is so much more worth it or waffas too. Or really any another good Mediterranean place. This would be my last choice for shwarma meals and pita wraps. I ordered the whole chicken (fried) which came with garlic sauce, fries, pickles, & Saj bread 10/10 i really loved the clean Halal chicken flavor and thin light coating, Beef shwarma Saj sandwich 2 sides; fragrent basmalti rice, and olive oil chopped salad 10/10 the beef shwarma is so fresh they make it right in front of you (along with chicken shwarma) the flavor is charred and succulent with fresh herbs..the pickled radishes go nicely with this, 1 sweet lemon (iraqi?) Yellow soda 10/10 highly recommend this citrus soda because it has real fruit juice and sugar and is in a cute mini glass bottle, they also have glass bottle cola, yogurt/various other beverages. To go order took about 25 minutes, everything was correct except I needed utensils, other than that perfect. Overall great meal! Come Support this local business, they work hard to maintain a clean environment, and high quality food. Wow!!!!!!! What a rip off. This place needs to shut down, I think the owners have changed or maybe the food was always this bad but possibly having the hummus with added spicy sauce and adding chicken to it as a go to meal was the only good thing they have on the menu. I paid $36 for my food for which I waited 40 minutes outside the shop. In reality doesn't even taste $5 worth. The guy handed me the food, was sweating like crazy, his gloves were covered in oil and in return so was the bag I got the food in, my food is so basic, it has no taste to it whatsoever, the spicy sauce I asked for is just a small container of Sriracha, the sandwich I ordered is so sad looking. What a waste of money, time and opportunity given to this business. It's unfortunate that I can't post this without having to add a single star because it not worthy of even that. read more

My friend took me here for the first time and I hadn't really been a huge fan of Mediterranean food but this place changed everything for me. The food is absolutely amazing, I constantly crave the food throughout the week and I always look forward to coming back. I know one of the workers, Ronny is always excited to see my group of friends come in to get their great food. Food did not taste good, first time here and it was an off night, no hummus available, chicken no flavor, rice tastes old and dry, garlic spread wasn't very strong In taste, over all just a horrible experience here. For the price I thought I would be getting some amazing flavorful food. This place is far from it. Zankou Chicken has more flavor and that's saying something. The amount of meat and chicken received is skimpy as there's a bunch of rice at the bottom of the plates. The garlic spread was terrible and whoever prepared it didn't use garlic. Okay, 5 stars in not enough!! We had a late night craving and found this gem. Super tiny restaurant with ridiculously friendly service and to top it off the food was amazing. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap and their fried kibbeh. The kibbeh was so heavily fried in oil that's pretty much all I could taste. The pita wrap was dry and the overall flavor was nothing to get excited about. Hours after eating I started to feel so nauseous, nausea didn't go away until I threw up the meal. I gave my greedy little dog a little bit of the chicken from the wrap which he later threw up as well. The beef shawerma there is phenomenal, and has no competition in all of Socal hands down. Also, their Sujuk sandwich and broasted chicken are fire.
