Brought my 2005 f150 in for an airbag recall on a Friday. Waited an hour to be told by Robby they ordered the wrong part, and to come back Monday at 9am. Brought it back Monday at 9am, and had the part installed in about 4 hours. They even provided Lyft rides to and from the dealership while my truck was being worked on. I opted for the complimentary visual inspection while I was there. The inspection was absolute bs and I'm glad I didn't pay for it, because they found nothing when they should have absolutely found things. They did end up fixing a taillight issue with a new bulb priced at $24. Yippee. Only good to come from that. While I was there, they seemed to handle their customers with respect. Dealerships already give me the creeps, but I pleasantly surprised not everyone at this dealership seemed scummy. If you value honesty, do not buy from Damerow Ford. My partner and I found our (reasonably priced, used) dream car here. We live nearly 3 hours away. We worked with Kyler for nearly a week while we waited for the car to have some repairs done. Multiple times we offered to put down a deposit to hold the car. We were told it was not necessary and the car was already marked sold for us. This was an absolute lie. We made an appointment to buy the car on Saturday. When we arrived the car was not available because someone else was test driving it, and Kyler was mysteriously absent. When the car arrived back we took it for a quick 10-15 minute test drive with another sales person. After the test drive we were told that the family who drove it before us was already purchasing it, and we could not buy the car. Kyler, you lied to us. We have it in writing. If we had known that the car was not actually being held for us we would have made efforts to get there on Friday. Your lie not only ruined our weekend, but broke my partner's heart. Terrible dealership! I received an online quote from Damerow to purchase my lease on a Bronco Sport. At first the sales person Perry Creel was happy to text me and have me come in.....until he realized I was not going to purchase a new car from him. He set an appointment with my for the next day. I showed up, he pushed me on to someone else...showed him the offer, they looked at my car (which was in excellent condition) then after wasting my time, they told me they were not interested in purchasing my car. These are the people that give a bad name to car dealers. They were rude, basically lied and wasted my time! I have no patience for dealers like that and DO NOT Recommend this dealership! bought a new F250 SD at Damerow in 2024. have not had a positive experience with this dealer or their service department. recently had them come out to do a "30 minute" recall update on the towing module. That was over a month ago. they fried my TRM and made my truck unusable for towing. they tried twice to fix it, but couldn't and finally said "there's nothing else they can do" and told me to wait for Ford to offer a proper fix for this. My truck towed fine before their tech came to my place, and when I asked for a loaner truck for one day to take care of some things I had to do with a trailer they said 'no - this recall doesn't cover that'. They bricked the towing on my truck, and did NOTHING to help me get it fixed. I bought this truck for towing, so this was unacceptable. Then I reached out to Northside Ford and asked if they could take a look. They said Damerow put the wrong part in it, and got my truck back on the road for towing within a day of receiving the part that damerow had screwed up. this dealership is not honest, nor are they competent. will not shop here again and will take care of warranty issues and dealer needs with northside from now on. avoid this dealership and save yourself the headache. read more

We came to Damerow Ford after I went to another Ford dealership, when I informed the salesman at the other dealership that I wanted the V-8 Coyote motor in an F150 - he stopped me and debated my decision for a good 15 minutes! At that point I knew I was not purchasing from the other dealership, having been in vehicle sales myself - I was always told 'the customer is always right'; obviously this was only true if your purchasing thoughts line up with what they had at the dealership! We bought both a 2024 F150 XLT and a 2024 GT Premium Mustang: California Special. First I worked with Josh Sharpe, the guy was absolutely brilliant and awesome with his ability to make me feel comfortable in finding the right F150. Then he drove me home to show my wife a GT Mustang (although the car was wonderful, due to a recall - we couldn't buy it) which she absolutely loved. Then General Manager Brian Ronstadt did an excellent job helping bring the Mustang from Southern California to Portland. We will take delivery next week! I can not say enough about these gentlemen; they did everything in their power to get the deals done and Brian gave us a beautiful loner Mustang GT Premium until the GT/CS arrives in town. To top it off, we get free gas on Brian's (and Damerow's) dime while we wait for that awesome Ford product from California (pun intended). This is the exact reason people hate car salesman. They trying to rip off an 81 year-old man wanted to do a trade-in with an expedition less than 50,000 miles, less than two years old. Great condition . They offered him $5000 for it. Carmax paid 20,000 for it. Here's the kicker they had one similar miles exact same year and make on their lot for 30,000. Or at least that is what Damerow Ford would like me to think. This dealership is a throwback to the sleezy days of the stereotypical car salesmen. High pressure sales tactics. A back and forth of prices. Scripting that follows the line of "we are really taking a hit here because we like you". Sending in new people whenever you say no in the hopes "the manager" will convince you. telling you it has to happen today because they can't promise the same deal tomorrow. They even asked for my keys after already taking pictures and mileage then holding the keys hostage as they sent in yet another "manager" They even told me that my trade in isn't part of the down payment but separate which doesn't align with any of the deals on theirs or fords main website. From the start, I repeatedly told them I was not buying a car that da. I wanted to test drive only so I could know my options. I then repeatedly said i needed time to think because I don't make snap decisions I. Large purchases but they kept bringing in more people to tell me I needed this car and "to feel the wind in my hair" Finally I had enough and attempted to sneak out only to realize they still had my keys. I came back in to ask for them in a room full of 6 people talking about "my deal" when I told them that I was done and the amount of pressure tactics were too much the manager condescendingly said "oh wow" And a nice person not involved grabbed my keys and gave them back to me. Since leaving multiple people have called and texted. I told them I thought the days of negotiating and playing this ridiculous game were done. Don't believe what they say. I leased a Mach-E based primarily on the Ford promotion that I'd get a charger installed at my home. I discussed this with the salesman and the finance person and the salesman actually came to me during the price negotiation to confirm that I wanted the charger installed vs a $500 credit. I discussed with the finance person that I was looking now because of that incentive. Turns out, there was a small print signed the $500 credit, I thought I was signed that I wanted the charger install. As I left the dealer I asked about the arrangement for the install, the finance person said I'd hear from Ford about it. Didn't hear anything for three months, went in yesterday and it turned out they did a bait and switch and gave me a $500 credit instead of the charger install. Don't trust these guys, I discussed this three different times during the transaction including as I was exiting the deal and they bait and switched me. Two terrible service experiences. First, I took my car in to get the side mirror replaced due to a truck hitting the mirror while I was parked and shattering the entire unit. They told me they would call me when the part came in. I called and texted numerous times over the course of 3 months without any replies. I finally called a different Ford dealer and they had it replaced within a week. Flash forward to this week. I had taken in my car to Damerow for two recalls the same time as the side mirror replacement. One was completed and I have been waiting for parts for the second recall that have been on back order for 9 months now. I received a text and call from Damerow that they would be able to perform the recall replacement this weekend with their mobile service group that would be set-up in Clackamas on Saturday. I scheduled an appointment even though it was a 25 minute drive from my house. When I arrived they said that it was clear it needed to be repaired and they would order the parts for me. The same part they allegedly ordered for me 9 months ago. The person who called me this week said they would be able to replace the part today. Absolutely terrible service. read more

There were a few recalls..oh sorry they call them customer satisfaction program issues...and we were experiencing the issues in those "recalls" so we took our truck in to have them addressed and they argued with us about it and initially refused to do them. I had to bring the letter in to them which stated that if you have any issues, you can have the issues addressed NO QUESTIONS ASKED and yet here we were, getting harassed about it. This is specific to the service department. I took my 2023 truck in for its 3rd service/oil change. When they were finished, they notified me that the technician had damaged my truck when he backed it into another vehicle that was on a lift. I was and am understanding that these things happen. They told me they would take care of the damage, put into writing, and away I went. I started bugging them about two weeks later to get the damage repaired. I called , emailed. The service manager only answered occasionally, when he did, he said all the right things, but never followed up to fix the damage. I even called his boss and left a voicemail. No response. over two months later, I ended up having to make an insurance claim and paid my $500 deductible. I will not be going back, and do not recommend them. read more

This dealership's lack of transparency and unprofessional behavior during my visit ON Sept 3rd left a bad impression. Their shady practices and untrustworthiness, along with the pushy and rude salespeople, made the whole experience extremely unpleasant. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this dealership and seek out a more reputable establishment for their car-buying needs. They practice a term called yo-yo scams this is where they will tell you you've been approved for the deal prior to them submitting the application to the lender thus forcing you to return days later after changing the terms and/or the entire contract all together asking you to pay a much greater down payment. Sadly consumers do not have an opportunity to back out of contracts once they have been signed However dealers reserve the right to back out and change terms after 14 days of signing. In my point of view this practice is extremely unethical. Therefore, I would like to urge anyone who refuse this and is thinking about purchasing a newer used vehicle to steer clear from this dealership and perform your business somewhere else. read more

Actually, give good service. I went on vacation for a month. Had my truck dropped off. Had the service department call me and asked me what was wrong with my truck when I had to harass them to get them to take my truck in when the sensors were making my truck slam on the brakes at that point my truck had 9000 miles on it. The brakes were already squeaking and they're still squeaking they refuse to fix my brakes, and the only way my brakes could be messed up is because well the sensors were messed up and were slamming them on at full speed, but yet they refused to fix my brakes read more

BEWARE!!! Purchased a jeep from them. Never cleaned or ran it thru inspection before delivery to me. Then less than 2 weeks later while driveling the family home, the rear wheel came off and destroyed the axle. 6k later in repairs they won't return calls or anything. 25k miles and they just let it off the lot without any inspection. Thankfully we are safe but so much for that whole spiel they give you on how much they care and are there for the customer. Surprising experience! Well informed sales consultant who was professional and courteous. Thanks Sam! After an hours long afternoon of exposure to used car sales I decided, against my better judgment, to stop in at one last dealer on my way back through town. I didn't expect much, and I was admittedly a bit stand offish when Sam walked out and introduced himself to me. He listened intently and asked just a few well thought out and direct questions so he could best understand what I was looking for. There were only a couple trucks on the lot that might be a fit for what I was looking for. This guy knew his inventory and the Ford product. So refreshing! I try hard to be an informed consumer and often find myself with more product knowledge than the folks selling me the things. I like to do my homework you could say. The customer service we receive from retailers now has caused me to intensify this trait. So it was nice to find an expert on the Ford Supper Duty truck line in Sam. I ended up with a rig that is just right for my needs and I feel I paid a fair price. I wasn't oversold, and wasn't insulted by the offer they made on my trade. This was one of the most bizare test drives we have ever had. We went in there hoping to drive the new MACH E, and then if we liked it we planned on ordering it, and patiently waiting several months, as we know getting new cars right now is challenging. We were told that is our lucky day, as there was one that had one, that was ordered for another customer but he did not qualify. He took us over to the car, that was still covered in plastic. The area it was parked, was tight quarters so I had my husband start the drive. We got a couple of blocks, and my husband could not get the car to go over 20 miles, and he was flooring it. We were than worried someone was going to rear end us, as we could not accelerate. The salesman had us return to the dealership, where they realized they had not changed from factory settings. Thankfully, after that was taken care of the car did have the get up and go, that one would except from a car sporting the the mustang logo on it. Now it was my turn to drive, and I really wanted to test out the self parking feature. I am a terrible parker, and this was a huge sellling point for me. We made several attempt to parrel park, but couldn't get it to work. Upon returning to the lot we tried again, and it seemed as though the car was possesed. The steerwheel was feverishly moving around but the car did not seem to be parking. We all got so freaked out we stopped the parking feature. I realize the car not working was not complelty the fault of the salseman, but I do think he should have checked the factory setting prior to our test drive, but really bothered me was he was very pushy. We were thinking we would just place an order for a car, not take one home on that day, and he kept pushing the car on his, and was not letting up. The car was more than $10,000 than I saw on-line, and it appeared to have several flaws so there was no way I was going to spend that kind of money. The staff was too busy chatting with one another to offer any assistance. I finally interrupted a coffee klatch of three and they directed me to the service department even though I definitely wasn't looking for vehicle service. Jose valiantly tried to help me but could find no record of the new vehicle purchase and sent me on my way telling me to come back tomorrow.
