One of the nicest tucked away unassuming shops just outside the Steveston village. Waffles seem to be the new cupcakes these days. These are authentic Belgian waffles complete with sugar pearls inside (you can buy the pearls separately as well). Simple waffle shop, but surprisingly good waffles and completely amazing hot chocolate. Great place for a quick breakfast for a family.

Really enjoyed the belgian waffle for a few years until I found Nero cafe in DT..Honestly the waffle there is so much better .

The prosciutto and Brie waffle plate was so damn good! I enjoyed their waffle so much, I bought a milk chocolate and Japanese citrus one immediately after finishing. Will come again! Delicious! We had the breakfast waffle special with warm cinnamon waffles, whipped cream, maple syrup and a side of fruit. Authentic Belgium waffles down to the pearl sugar used in the batter which gives nicely caramelized crunchy bits on the inside. Yum! read more

Wanted to try something new so the bf and I wandered into steveston and came across the waffle factory. The smell of fresh bakery upon walking in, was enough to make my mouth water. I couldn't decide which one and since I was soo hungry, I decided for the savory lunch which included a waffle sandwich of prosciutto and Brie accompanied with a salad. It was alright. Nothing to rave about. The bf got apple and caramel waffle with a green tea. The apple one was sooo flavorful. Texture was perfect...crispy outside and soft all together. I will go back and try their breakfast waffle special. read more

Well I gave this place another try, that is to say I tried to give this place another try. Went in with my kids and there were two people ahead of me. I noticed the Visa and MasterCard signs with black "X" marks on them. I said to the cashier oh so you don't take credit card. She abruptly said no and turned away. In this day and age and in such a tourist location not accepting credit cards is a stupid business decision. Her abruptness made me walk out, they may have good waffles, but I won't be returning. read more

For anyone in the Steveston area, if you're in the 1 Road and Chatham area and feel like a bite, you really need to stop in here. Unobtrusive, unpretentious and, frankly, unbelievable are how I'd describe this wonderful establishment. The staff are all easy going and quick with a smile- though difficult to see in a mask, trust me on this one- and recommendations on the flavours. The waffles are all crafted on site- no frozen stuff here- and you can dine in or take out, I think they offer a delivery service but check me on this. Sweet? They got you covered. Savoury? Oh, yes, they do them, too. Breakfast is ALL day, so I can get delightful meal as I wish from 9:30am to 4pm. A selection of chopped, seasonal fruit, a couple of waffles and a heap of whipped cream can be had with fresh brewed coffee. Fresh, bodum brewed coffee. I don't know if you can even get drip because the brewed is all I get. Please stop by, eat a meal and grab a half doz to go. Damien brought his waffles to the Sakura Days Japan Festival at the VanDusen. They were very tasty, smelled great and were perfect for my friend who has food restrictions since the waffles don't contain eggs and some other things. I also give the guy props for creating some great Japanese inspired waffle flavors and doing them really well (matcha and yuzu). I've never been to the formal location of this store so I cannot speak for the dine-in atmosphere or service, but my friends and I really enjoyed the waffles we got from his food stand. My favorite place to pick up dessert for parties. I usually grab a few matcha and yuzu ones since everyone tends to love them. They also do these wonderful waffle combos for breakfast, definitely worth the trek to Steveston for it. Seating is a bit sparse so i wouldn't go there expecting to sit and chill for awhile. Try grabbing a waffle to go and head down over to Steveston Coffee co. The two combined = simply divine. read more

Huge fan of this place, can't get enough. Went in for their maple waffle, yummy, it had maple sugar in the middle of the waffle, which was a surprise. My son loved it!! will definitely tell all my friends. The only thing I don't like is they don't take credit cards, so cash only. read more

I have never been disappointed when I stop by this shop along my bike ride. Tasty Belgium waffles made the right way, traditionally, under your eyes, from natural succulent ingredients and served with delicious cream and fruits. Plus the owner is friendly and the place is welcoming. Wish they were closer to where I live. read more

These are by far the best waffles I have ever had. Nice small place that I would have never seen until my dad told me. I bought a box of 6 and ate the maple one right away, I think I needed a box of 10 instead. I would go back there any day! read more

Fantastic waffles made by a husband and wife team. Husband is an immigrant from France, and seems to have an extensive background and knowledge of cooking. Both were very friendly and happy to share tips on how we could improve the waffles we make at home. I'll definitely return the next time that I'm in the area. read more
