As far as respecting clients time not so much.... I always expect dental appointments to run long, but when I schedule an appointment at 8, I expect to been seen at 8, not 8:30. Three appointments and all three have been 20-45 minutes past the check in time. Once I was willing to forgive, twice I was annoyed, third time is unforgivable. I will say, I was told we never checked in to the 3rd appointment, but after waiting in line for ten minutes (it was very busy and the people ahead of us were not prepared. We were also fifteen minutes early because we have quite the drive and I don't like being late) spoke to a receptionist we had worked with at another location as well and she assured us we would be seen shortly, so on my end I did what I needed to do. Once back in the exam area we typically wait another 10-15 minutes. They seem to really struggle being ready to go and again all three times things were missing and they had to go looking for the supplies needed to complete the process.... Now it might be a bad time where they have a lot of new staff, but 3/3 tells me this is a systemic problem not an individual training issue. And the only staff we encountered more than once was the receptionist. We went to three different offices for our appointments so not a particular office either. Overall their staff are friendly, they just don't seem super confident or prepared.

They literally went above and beyond to get me fitted, make new retainers and get them delivered to me. I was extremely satisfied and so happy to get new retainers. Okay. So I am torn between two stars and three…read more I had my braces on years ago, and had them removed in 2002. I am in the United States Navy and they put a top bar on my mouth before I left for Boot camp in 2007 so I wouldn't loose my retainer. Well about 4 years ago my top bar broke and I had it fixed and with a new permanent retainer the female of the two orthodontist's (I believe dr. Paxton) did not charge me much I think it was less than 200.00 also including the clear retainer. Well I was home 4 years later visiting for bloomsday and schedule an appointment because my top bar broke again, I was quoted 160.00 on the phone, well by the time I was done they took the cement off my bottom bar, did my top bar then gave me a retainer. I was about to leave and one of the ladies that works there said "oh that's going to be 375" and the male orthodontist said you shouldn't have been quoted over the phone, we will fix that internally. well I obviously couldn't not pay it. But when you're quoted 160 and it comes out to 375 that's a pretty big difference. If something happens again I will not come back, which is sad after literally 15+ years. There's plenty of orthodontist where I live (San Diego) that I'll get it taken care of.

This dentist office has won several "Best of" awards from various news papers and periodicals over…read morethe last few years for good reason. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and Dr. Weigand is kind, personable, and great at what he does. I have a wonderful experience every time I go in. Dr. Weigand uses state of the art equipment to identify problems early, and fix them quickly. He frequently utilizes lasers in his practice. Obviously it is at the doctors discretion when it is used so no promises on having this technology used on you, but for shallow cavities the doctor was able to use a laser device to remove and fill the cavities without having to numb me. It was awesome! Instead of being in there for an hour and not being able to eat for the next few hours, I was in and out in about 25 minutes and had nothing preventing normal eating or drinking. There was a cold sensation associated with the use of the device but there wasn't any pain. I'm sure the experience can differ from person to person and cavity to cavity, but it was amazing technology. While he is a bit on the pricey side, if you have good dental insurance I would highly suggest seeing Dr. Weigand. The time and care that is taken to ensure your mouth is in good health won't leave you disappointed.
