Just Added solar panels to an existing system, and had a great experience! Chad, the solar specialist showed up on time, was very efficient and neat. In less than two days my electric meter was running backwards! Even the extreme heat of august! Chad was also very patient in explaining to me about the new panels! Can't recommend this company enough! They truly care about doing things the *right* way and doing right by the customer versus just showing up to make a buck or simply doing the bare minimum. They took on my very complicated roofing project that initially seemed pretty straight forward: install their tapered PVC system on my flat garage roof, but, after further inspection by Jefferson, they essentially had do a lot more work than was planned (rotting woods, lots of previous issues with leaks from corners not tied in properly, etc). Jefferson was very communicative with me throughout the process, explaining what the issues were, what my options were now and in the future. I really appreciated his level of commitment to his work, his attention to detail, and his passion for doing things the right way and not cutting corners. Him and his crew were here 2 extra days than originally planned, and man they did a fantastic job. That garage roof has has been an issue since I bought my house five years ago, and I am so happy I called them to fix it. I want to give a second shot out to Tim, who was also fantastic to work with throughout the process. I have already reached out to them to help with an additional section of the roof above my patio. This could have easily been a 5-star review. The team at Dana Logsdon is responsive and professional, and performed the work on time. However, there was one question I had after the work was done on my roof which required someone to come by and take a look (some loose material that is hanging between the new slats that Dana Logsdon replaced...could be nothing or could be something that needs to be fixed - I have no idea). I have called and emailed no fewer than 8 times, have gotten assurances that someone would follow-up (even one scheduled appointment with a no-show) and still after 8 weeks all I receive from DL are requests for payment. I have reinforced each time I call that I WANT to pay, I just need my question answered. Not sure why this is so difficult, but to this day I still haven't gotten a very simple request honored. read more

I have probably used this company for roof repairs for the past 30 years on two different houses. I have been satisfied with their work. For my most recent inquiry, I submitted an online request and was scheduled for an inspection the following day, within a one-hour time slot. Text updates advised me of when the tech was on his way, along with his photo and name. Nice touch there to add a layer of security and comfort to the visit. Devan came out and inspected the area in question. Props to him for not looking at my most pressing concern and immediately turning it into an expensive estimate. He actually said it wasn't all that pressing, but did find other recommendations while inspecting the surrounding area. Do yourself a favor and do not hire them. We had a terrible experience. The crew chief did not speak English so it was hard to communicate. The workmanship was terrible: sloppy. They sometime worked at night with cell phone camera lights. Had to tell them to stop. Neighbors reported seeing the crew drinking beer at lunch. Repeated requests for warranty documents have gone unanswered. They cut roof tiles on top of new tiles leaving deep cut marks on the new tiles that had to be replaced. Several roof vents were placed in wrong areas and had to be removed. The so called project manager was MIA for essentially the whole project. Several termite damaged fascia and eve boards were missed and roofed over , causing expensive repairs later when discovered. All in all, the experience was very frustrating and it is only hoped that at least the new roof won't leak! Time will tell read more

I needed a new roof with new sheathing and fascia. There were split rafters that also needed addressed. Contacted 3 different companies to get bids. Tom with Dana Longsdon came first. I was frustrated that he wasn't listening to what I wanted. Besides the structural issues I wanted to talk about my aesthetic options. He kept telling me that what I was asking for would be too expensive. After a quick walk around the house he used a drone to fly over my house to get a look at the roof. Promised to get me information on the roof I wanted and was gone in 15-20 minute. The other 2 companies spent 90 mins. on the roof and attic. Came down with photos confirming the structural issues and spent time listening to what type of roofing material I wanted. Toms bid was emailed to me using the cheapest asphalt shingles and he forgot to add the other things I asked about. He obviously put no thought into it a was just determined to quote me something affordable. I must look like I'm living below the poverty line. He never followed up. The other 2 bids were detailed covering everything I asked for. I chose a company that quoted me over twice that that Tom had. That company listened. Thoroughly assessed my home.
