Love this place! It's a lovely local coffee spot with a great selection of pastries, sandwiches and drinks (drip coffee, espresso, tea, specialty and more!) available daily. Decibel coffee beans are used here and food and pastries are made by in house bakers. Super clean, great service and lovely space functional for get togethers and work/study. This space also turns into a lounge some nights serving up speciality cocktails and mock tails, all unique and so tasty!

This place is so cute! It definitely feels like welcoming and warm inside. The coffee options were great, house made flavor options, fresh pastries baked that morning, and good breakfast options. I had the sausage sandwich and was very pleased. I came here to work for a couple of hours and it gave me a nice quiet vibe with good internet.

Cute coffee shop. A serene feeling where you can just sit and relax. They offer a pastry case and premade sandwiches in addition to drinks. The weekly special was a grapefruit elderflower lemonade which was refreshing and I tried the blueberry lavender muffin. The muffin was moist with a hint of lavender and lots of big blueberries, nice twist on a blueberry muffin. Service was quick and friendly. A hidden gem in downtown

@dandelioncafebakery was truly an oasis we stumbled upon after visiting the @tucsonmuseumofart and @oldtownartisans It was an incredibly hot day and the pre-monsoon humidity bore down upon us as we shopped in the un-air conditioned artist and merchant colony. The friendly clerk @oldpaintrecords let us know that this cafe was just across the street and we quickly found it and relief from the sun. Most of the other restaurants were closed for the summer or until 4pm. This cafe has good air conditioning and restrooms. The coffee and tea is amazing! And we decided to grab the last three sandwiches in the grab-n-go by the entrance. It's like they were waiting just for us. The Beet and Chèvre sandwich was so delicious - sweet beets, fresh baked local focaccia delivered to the bakery that morning, spicy arugula, a drizzle of balsamic, and of course, thick sliced creamy piquant chèvre . I thought it was perfect but my daughter wanted more balsamic. The Italian was tasty and just right according to my other daughter. Just look at these sandwiches! I want one even now. We swooned over the small details like the parchment wrapping and paper tape ("like we're in a Ghibli film"). Lastly, I just love dandelions and so does this café obviously. The vegan oatmeal cookie we shared was also sooo good. The services here was incredibly friendly and welcoming, we lingered as long as possible at the little white painted iron cafe table against the front window. Did you know that the name Dandelion comes from the French 'dent de lion' translation: lion's tooth from the toothed edges of the leaves? Things I learn in Master Gardening Class

Great new little cafe in downtown Tucson by the same owners of Cere's pasta! I've been in twice this week for coffee and a delicious lavender blueberry muffin, and then for lunch with a friend yesterday, we had beet and chevre sandwich, a lemonade, and a slice of cardamom spiced white cake with blackberry buttercream - it melted in our mouths! The employees at the counter were very helpful, cutting our sandwiches, and giving us to go bags, and making recommendations. The cafe itself is super cute, in a historic old building near Ceres, there is even a little arrow sign pointing the way. There is a small, adorable area inside to sit and eat, or working people downtown can grab and go. They offer a 10% discount for their downtown neighbors! The steps to go in are super steep, so watch out for those!

Similar to another review, I came on an opening night. There was a long wait and the seating was kind of strange -- I think it could be rearranged to fit others more comfortably. The outdoor patio was very lovely for a summer night. I came in the evening for drinks and was pleasantly surprised that they had a non-alcoholic menu. I got the Dandelion "Wine" and my husband got the Dragon Tattoo mocktail. Both were very good. I'm interested in returning and trying the cafe/bakery and the cocktails.

The Dandelion Lounge is located in the historic Presidio neighborhood and, by day, operates the Dandelion Cafe & Bakery. As of this writing, they will be open every Friday and Saturday evening. My wife and I went here for our date night, as last night was its soft opening. We arrived shortly after seven pm and had to wait as they were filled to capacity. Once inside, we waited for ~20 minutes to order and another 20 minutes for our drinks. If you served in the military and are used to standing and waiting for things, then this may not be an issue. It was ~an hour from arrival to receiving our drinks. Part of this was on us as we decided to wait for an opening as they were filled to capacity when we arrived. There is not a lot of sitting areas, and I highly recommend adding an additional table for the front outside and a few more on the inside, as it is awkward for adults to stand and imbibe. It reminded me of being at a house party. The staff was friendly, and the place was very clean. I also liked their background music and the soft lighting in the sitting area. The drinks seemed promising with the ingredients and the description, but they were average and perhaps a bit below for the price. We ordered the Wilding, Sweet Emotion, and Dandelion Wine. While watching the bartenders, they were following the instructions to make the drinks, and perhaps they just need to taste their own creations and practice, but they were off. Please take what I wrote with a grain of salt as it was their opening night, and as such, adjustments will be made. Taste is also subjective. You may find them to be amazing; they just were not for us (at least for now). I hope they make it and recommend giving them a try as they seem like nice people, and it is located in a nice place in Tucson. I will try them again by winter to see if the experience improves.

Nice new coffee shop in downtown Tucson. Has a hanging out vibe in this cool renovated 1907 building. I ordered only an Americano, but was tempted by their many pastries. It looks like they have some readymade sandwiches and salads too, for the next time. Staff was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to checking them out again.

Awesome coffee beverages (that haven't been Starbucks-ized), a real bakery, in a fun old house in a cool part of town. What's not to love?

The workers were helpful but did not wish to be included in the review. The company promotes they are community owned. As I understand this they are incorporated and selling shares to the public. On a different scale Tesla is community owned because it sells shares to the world. Cartel sold the shares through crowdfunding rather than traditional IPO so you won't find it on NYSE and it would be less liquid in my opinion. This makes it more "community " I suppose. I'll pass on "ownership" but I think this is a good place to grab a coffee.

We so rarely encounter attitude in Tucson, that our experience at your coffee shop on Saturday…read morereally took us aback. All 4 of us have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and appreciate the stresses. Since we are unfailingly friendly customers, as so many servers are, & because there were only 6 other customers at your coffee shop at the time, sharing our experience is warranted. We visited the Main Gate shop just after noon on Saturday, 4/18. The barista was wearing a cap & O'Neill-branded t-shirt; he has a salt & pepper beard. Requesting my cappuccino in a ceramic cup, he stated, with obvious exasperation, "You can just say 'for here'." He was also visibly irritated when we requested 3 Dirty Chais of various sizes & shot strength, as if this request was overly complicated. We would have ordered food, but he was so unwelcoming we did not. Nor did we linger. We have visited this location other times and have only been treated warmly. Clearly this barista does not represent the customer service your employees normally provide. You can train people to make a good coffee. Training them to be pleasant is more complicated & best documented. Hence, this review. An unpleasant experience like this has no place in Tucson. It's not who we are & it's not who you are either, I know. We hope this gentleman finds another line of work soon

When I finally moved, I thought the hardest part would be adding 30 minutes to my commute. It wasn't. It was losing that daily routine of walking into a place that feels so real and personal. Talega isn't just a coffee shop. It feels intimate in a way that's hard to find now. You can tell Tyler & Rene actually care. Not just about the coffee, but about the people who come in and the community around them. Nothing about it feels transactional. They are not cheap grabs for attention or copies of whatever is trending online. The ideas feel inspired and intentional.
