I met a friend for some remote work on a Friday and the early afternoon.. they have both patio seating as well as some seating inside as well. Love this because it was HOT! There's a separate building you can buy local retail, as well as a café where I ordered a dirty Horchata (not realizing it had coffee lol), a sandwich with fries, and one of the baked desserts (a brownie with something I can't remember lol). All the food was great. As a french fry lover, I have to say that the fries were fantastic! Once you order, you're able to find a place to sit, and the food is brought to you. I was finally able to make it back to Coronet Cafe for breakfast and had another great experience. I love the outdoor seating, as it feels so quaint and peaceful. I also love that the menu strives to be locally sourced. The food is very fresh! The service from the counter is fairly fast, which was especially great for us, as we were short on time. This time ordered the Simply Eggy Breakfast. The marmalade was unique and the eggs were perfectly poached. The portions are standard, so there will likely be no leftovers. For the portions though, I would say the price is a little on the higher end. To finish my friend got a tahini brownie on the way out and we found it to be very pleasant and not overly sweet. We dined here for the first time during Labor Day and had an excellent breakfast. The set up is to go inside and order, then sit outside where a staff member will bring out your order. I like the traditional way of ordering better with tableside service. The staff were friendly and everything was clean. The outside sitting area provides a great atmosphere. I like everything about the outside atmosphere with the white paint on the buildings that contrast nicely with the blue Tucson sky. I even like the font types on the signs. The silverware also stood out to me as it was well worn and may be real silver. I had the Barrio Bahn Mi (bacon wrapped pork & beef meatloaf, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño, pickled onion, kewpie mayo, habañero nuoc cham, la estrella bakery telera) and the curried carrot soup. Both dishes were fresh and flavorful. This was easily the best bahn mi I have had since living in Hawai'i almost 20 years ago. My mom and wife both ordered the Dutch Babies (tart citrus cream, orange squash marmalade, fresh berries). This dish was also flavorful with a memorable presentation. Really fantastic! Coronet Cafe is a lovely spot to grab breakfast, lunch or even an early dinner. Food and beverage selections are counter order service with both indoor and outdoor patio seating. The cafe also offers full coffee selections, wine and pastries. For food, the dishes feel intentional and prepared with care, comfortable but not boring, and fresh. My dad and I were in the area and decided to stop by for an early lunch and selected the barrio baguette and butter with sardines, and the breakfast bowl with tofu instead of the egg. Both dishes were balanced, satisfying and just the right amount of food. Not only was the food great but the atmosphere is really top notch. While the Arizona heat is no joke, their outdoor patio is expansive and well arranged with small tables covered with umbrellas. The setting is perfect to catch up with a friend, grab a bite with a colleague, or even bring a date. If the hot temperatures are a little too much, they also have indoor seating in their historic downtown Tucson property. They've done a really nice job preserving the history of the location and adding small touches to accentuate the charm, such as the ornate silverware settings. Five shiny gold stars. I finally got to try this place!! This place is a true Tucson gem! It's a luxury to be able to have breakfast here on a beautiful spring morning sitting at their beautiful terrace!!! Brunch on the coronet cafe patio is perfect on even the hottest Tucson days. If you get there at 8 am you can hear the city wake up. I love coming here for the brunch/lunch menu, it never misses. And you can always find a shaded seat outside. My go to items are the Cilbur and breakfast bowl with chutney. I also really like the dragoon session sausage as a side. Kind staff and they come by and check on you even though you order inside at the counter. It's pretty easy to find parking if you circle the block and the neighborhood is very walkable. One of the loveliest patios in the city (dog friendly too!), I love stopping in at the Coronet Café for one of my fave coffees in the city, the Mesquite Ras-el-Hanout Oatmilk Latte! Words fail to describe how much I love it so add it to your must-try list! Their waffle with raspberry guajillo honey butter was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that there needs to be a little more of that sauce because it's that good! We also ordered a cookie and a scone; the cookie was really hard (over baked tbh) but the flavors were pleasant. The scone was pretty forgettable but we'll baked. The young Spanish speaking staff member (who worked Wed 11/27) was so kind and helpful. I wish I'd written down their name because they made us feel really welcome and they were just great. And the final reason I love coming to this spot is to check out all the beautiful local items for sale inside the café. So if you're on a strict budget, do not go inside. Was recently in Tucson for a short visit and had the opportunity to stop by the Coronet Cafe for Brunch. What a delightful find! Not only a cute place nestled in a cluster of historic adobe buildings, it also had a cozy and charming outdoor patio. Plenty of parking right outside the back of the patio area providing great access to the Coronet Cafe and their other two establishments. The fellow at the cash register who took our order was very nice and efficient. Once you have ordered, you grab your own carafe of water, silverware, napkins, and any other beverages you have ordered plus the number stand for them to find your table. I had to make a couple trips to get it all to the table, which is fine except it does make you wonder why when you are paying the cashier after standing in line, you are prompted to leave a 20%, or 22% or a 25% tip! I know this is gotten more common lately but really!?!?! At least some places realize when the guest is doing some or most of the table servicing they should start at 10% or 15%... Anyway, back to the positive! The menu was really interesting and had some original and unique offerings, not found on the typical brunch menu. We both ordered the Barrio Breakfast. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked. The dish had a lot of flavor from the well seasoned potatoes to the black beans to the crema on top! It was a great meal. We highly recommend. Loved how they offered fresh free range local eggs as a substitute for a little additional cost. There is also a big commitment to using local produce, bakeries, farms, etc. Love that! We will definitely return to try some of the other Brunch offerings. Would also like to come for Happy Hour at their Nightjar bar. I'm totally up for trying the Jamaica Margarita! Very cute cafe with a charming vibe instantly that transports me back to Paris. A local gem that is dog friendly with great service and food. We got here as soon it opened at 7am and we ordered coffee and pastries. The breakfast starts at 8am. I had the full eggs Benedict and everything tasted so fresh and so delicious. I'm legitimately kind of miffed I didn't know/understand the distinction between the Coronet Restaurant and Coronet Cafe until so recently, but now that I know, I am ALL about the Cafe for casual meals in addition to my enjoyment of the Restaurant for more special-occasion dinners. The Cafe has its own menu, is counter service, and is open daily! On my visit, I got the burger -- an Impossible Burger patty for me rather than beef -- topped with a rich combination of cheddar, onion jam, and dijonnaise. It was phenomenal. I literally had to internally tell myself to slow down and take smaller bites so that I could savor it for longer. I would have just scarfed it down otherwise! The fries were salty perfection alongside the burger, and pairing the classic combo with a chilled white wine enjoyed with a friend made for a pretty much ideal evening. Despite the heat, the patio at Coronet Cafe was a lovely little oasis, and my friend and I spent a long time chatting and unwinding. I consider her my little hummus aficionado and she said that the hummus was perfect. It came with an Aleppo chili dressing that she didn't add, but it tasted great when I tried it - not overwhelmingly spicy. The Dutch babies were incredible and a bit unexpecting. I thought the cream was a sweet custard, but it was tangy and absolutely beautiful, especially after adding the maple syrup - YUM! I honestly wish I took more to go, but it's more of a reason to go back. We also ordered the herbed egg sandwich to go and that was scrumptious too! The herb was very mint-forward imparting a freshness that is essential for any herbed concoction! And to top all of this off, I had a dirty chai that was house-made! It was sooo good that when I met the owner, I asked her to sell it. The owner, Sally, was incredibly sweet and a joy to speak to. And the rest of the staff were prompt and helpful allowing us to fully take in the beautiful and intimate courtyard. Family, girl, or romantic dates coming up? This was our first visit to Coronet at this location. The Cafe counter is off of Meyer with umbrella-shaded outdoor patios to the front and side. There also are about 8 tables inside two air conditioned rooms, which were perfect on this 100+ degree day. There's a good gf and veg selection, which we appreciated. My partner ordered the quiche of the day -- eggplant -- with a side of potatoes. The portions were large, and my partner said it was delicious. I ordered the gf Cilbir, which means cucumbers in place of the flatbread. The garlic dill yogurt and spiced butter provided a burst of flavor to the egg and cucumbers. On our drive back to California via the 10 freeway, we decided to stop for a nice breakfast in Tucson, AZ. I selected Coronet Cafe as the reviews reflected a nice vibe and it was spot on. A lovely quaint garden patio setting that was quiet and soothing on a sunny morning surrounded by fragrant flowers and various plants. An occasional citrus tree cascading over tables with climbing florals up some walls for a splash of color and waist high planters gently placed to offer privacy between tables complimented with delicious savory breakfast servings and coffee/tea. I ordered the Special of the day, biscuit and sausage gravy w/ side of bacon & Iced Chai. I can't identify all the gravy ingredients but not a typical southern gravy. A little spice that accentuated the flavor left on your palate. I ordered the gravy on the side for half my biscuit, which was perfect. Center was soft with a nice crust on the edge that was a perfect texture combination. I added a blueberry/blackberry jalapeno jam they offered for the other half of my biscuit. Again...perfection. My husband ordered the egg & herb sandwich. They only offer poached eggs which we're not yolk lovers so this sandwich offered a more well done yolk on an English muffin. He slid a slice of bacon onto and said it was a very tasty breakfast sandwich. He had the Sparkling lemonade (not a coffee drinker) and loved his entire meal. Ordering is at the front, very courteous and helpful gentleman took our order, answered all our questions and offered solutions for our dilemmas. You select a seat and they serve your food and buss your table at the end. Very pleasant relaxing meal to end our vacation with and delicious as a bonus! We opted for Cilbar (traditional Turkish breakfast) and Gravalax on a everything bagel. The Cilbar was really good and not like anything I have had before. Creamy seasoned yogurt with a poached egg on top. It also comes with grilled flat bread and some veggies. We very much enjoyed it. The Gravalax was equally as good. I will admit that the layout was a little confusing at first, but everything from the cafe walls, to the booth room, to the patio was well decorated. We sat in the booth room and the tables and booths were ornate and gorgeous! I ordered a lavender oatmilk latte and love that they serve in a real glass unless you're taking to-go. The servers were all super sweet and came to check on us a few times while we were there. You even get free refills on drip coffee when you get a latte in house! Came here with my family for the first time during Sonoran restaurant week. It was a pretty good deal --the barrio breakfast and a non-alcoholic drink of your choice for $15. I'll start with my favorite part: the place is oozing with charm! The patio! The little shop/ordering area! Even the bathroom was darling. Everything in this arena is 5 stars! I think it's worth visiting just for the environment. I enjoyed the breakfast and the iced latte I got was really good, but my husband and my daughter wanted scrambled eggs, but they only do poached eggs. Kind of strange--I've never been to a restaurant that only does eggs one way--especially one of the most complicated ways to make eggs. I loved the poached eggs but the lack of customization was a little frustrating. The other issue was the speed of service. We waited in line for 20 minutes just to order, and there were only a few customers in front of us. The cashier was running food and doing other things which is what made it take so long. It just didn't seem like the most optimal system. And with an infant and a toddler, it seemed much longer than 20 minutes. Food came out pretty fast, which was surprising considering how long it took to order. On top of our breakfast, we also ordered a baklava pastry--it was very yummy. Overall, some major pros and cons to this place. If I come back, I would have to leave the kids at home, as well as my husband since he won't eat poached eggs, which could be a nice morning to myself! read more

I think I could eat here every day. Truly. The cafe is adorable with plenty of seating outside on the patio and some limited seating inside. (They also have a cute little shop with local goods.) Their horchata latte is amazing and not overly sweet, which is hard to get with horchata. Within a 3 day trip to Tucson, I ate here twice - once for lunch and once for breakfast. For lunch, I had the brisket and Brie sandwich. I sometimes worry that brisket can be too full of chewy fat, but this truly melted in my mouth, and the Brie was a perfect compliment. For breakfast, I had the poached eggs and gluten free toast with salad and the seasonal orange squash marmalade. While simple, it was filling, fresh, and delicious. I felt like for both meals, the ingredients were high quality and the food was fresh. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable, especially about allergies. Cannot recommend enough. read more
