I can't argue about their food. I had their filet mignon done rare, Pittsburgh style, and it turned out to be totally delicious. It was one of the best I've ever had, with a perfect Pittsburgh char. The beef was from the DemKota supplier, which I had never heard of. But, a quick Google let me know it is one of the most exclusive and best of meat suppliers. Not many restaurants openly let you know where or from whom they purchase their meats. That is probably for good reasons as you may find out you are eating the same quality of meat from the same supplier to Pubiix, or worse. What I didn't like about Daniel's is that they don't respect reservations. We had reservations but got that old "why don't you have a seat at the bar" routine. So we sat, sat and sat at the bar for so long we finally gave up and ordered our meals at the bar. Also, the noise level. I was downright excruciating. We couldn't even have a conversation. So, though Daniel's steakhouse food is five starts, their ambience and comfort level is only a miserable lowly one star; hence my overall rating is three Yelp stars

After waiting quite some time to finally visit Daniel's Steakhouse in Coral Gables, I can confidently say it was worth every bit of the anticipation. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the perfect tone for the evening spacious and quiet enough for real conversation, with lighting that is absolutely on point. The Experience Our server, Logan, was exceptional. His recommendations were spot-on, and his attention to detail made us feel truly taken care of throughout the night. It is rare to find service that is this professional yet genuinely warm. The Food Everything we tasted was outstanding, cementing its place as one of the best steakhouses in Miami. We started with the sourdough bread and the tuna tartare which had a perfect spicy touch that woke up the palate. For the main event, the Tomahawk 23oz (perfect for a couple) was a revelation. It was cooked to perfection incredibly juicy with a smoky, slightly crispy exterior. The combination of the volcano salt and their signature tomato sauce on the side elevated the flavor to another level. The sides did not disappoint, either: Lobster Mac and Cheese: Hands down the best I've ever had. Baked Potato: Soft, cheesy, and the ultimate comfort food. Salad: Fresh and a nice accompaniment, though the steak and sides are the true stars. The Grand Finale We ended the night with the chocolate cake. It was rich, delicious, and so massive that we were able to enjoy it the next day (and honestly, the flavor was even better the morning after!). My husband and I enjoyed every single bite. If you are looking for a high-end dining experience in Coral Gables that delivers on both flavor and ambiance, Daniel's is the place to be. We will definitely be back!

Everything is great at this restaurant; only downside is it was slammed and it's hard to walk at all when people are blocking the walkway. The steak was incredible.

I can't speak highly enough of Justin and Max who took care of us tonight. You MUST try the wagyu experience and potato fonduta (epic spin on mash). As a stickler on customer service, I was incredibly impressed by their care and attention to their guests. Great ambience for a date night!

A+++++. Lets just say, I went on a Friday night, and returned that same Sunday! Incredible experience, food was superb, service was top tier, from the bar or table, phenomenal, and the ambiance was uplifting, not your typical steakhouse, good music and vibrant. Highly recommend the wagu trio experience. Will return! Recommend making a reservation ahead. It gets busy!

Over the last 20 years I have been regularly underwhelmed by the food scene in Fort Lauderdale. I have found most restaurants here to be sub par at best. Frequently I found myself having to travel to Miami or Palm Beach for what I would consider a decent meal. Understandably when I heard about this new hottest restaurant I was skeptical. However I was completely blown away. Easily, the best meal I have ever had in Fort Lauderdale. I would even go as far as to say it would be in my top 10, possibly even top 5. A list which includes many of the famous steakhouses from LA to Las Vegas to NYC, Daniel's leaves nothing to be desired.

5+ stars!!! 1st class dining in every aspect. Service is top notch. A whole team will serve your table. From the captain to servers and bussers, everyone is respectful, helpful, and polite. The food was delicious. We started with steak tartar and crab cake. The crab cake was all crab and the accompanying sauces (including a Meyer lemon sauce) made it different than the many crab cakes I have had in Maryland. We shared a porterhouse, which was plenty for two with enough to take home. The meat was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We ordered the corn pudding which was decadent. It's like the sweetest, richest creamed corn you will ever eat. Dessert was an excellent key lime pie. The staff recognized Husband's birthday with a card. Two managers stopped by at different times to check in. Tables are close and the place is noisy, so not the place for a quiet date. Overall, Daniel's is a well oiled machine that provides fine dining that until now, I had yet to see in Broward county. Yes, it's pricey, but great for a special occasion.

Had a great experience at Daniel's! Weekend reservations are hard to come by without much notice but we snagged a reservation for 8:30pm. The restaurant was busy and does not leave much room for privacy with seating. We were seated promptly upon arrival and the server quickly came to the table. We were provide with options and they displayed the cuts of steak they had. We opted for caviar and chips, truffle mashed potatoes, and 8 oz filet. As for drinks the passion star martini was delicious! Perfectly Balanced, not too sweet or tart. Our server and wait staff remained attentive and were always available or checking in. As for the steak, we both ordered medium but mine came out looking completely different and once I reached center, it was rare. I opted not to send back since I had plenty for leftovers but not sure the disconnect there. Otherwise, everything was great! It's a bit crowded and very busy on weekend but overall, great addition to Fort Lauderdale!

This place is beyond amazing! The quality of the food is top notch, definitely worth every penny! I came with my husband to celebrate his birthday and he was welcomed with a birthday card-- a detail I've never seen before at any other restaurant! We tried the wagyu meatball, the wagyu and pearls and the crab cake (made from really blue crab) from the appetizers and they were all mouth watering but the favorite was the wagyu and pearls tartare which included caviar. From the entrees we ordered the FLORIDA ARROWHEAD DELMONICO 140Z (melts in your mouth, so delicious!) and Wagyu DENVER STEAK 80z --so good! The double baked potato is like nothing I have ever had, so delicious and so different-- no words to describe it. Highly recommend this place for any special occasion!!!

I've eaten at the newest location in miami and figured it was time to try the OG. What can I say it surpassed the miami location in every aspect except the vibe !!! Our service was exceptional, from the sommelier to the bus staff and of course our waiter. We shared all of the appetizers and side along with the special steak of the day a 45oz tomahawk !! If you're looking for a good steakhouse in miami or Fort Lauderdale, although a bit pricey you definitely get your moneys worth !!

Came here for a birthday and had probably the best meal i've had this year! Everything from the service to the decorations were great. I highly recommend the bao puns as an appetizer. At the time they had a flight of three steaks as a special that I had and it was incredible!!! Their pasta is also amazing! I honestly can't say a single bad thing about this place. If you're considering going do it!

We had a great steak dinner here with family. The service was top notch. Drinks at the bar, while waiting for our table were just what we needed. Everyone loved their meal. Definitely going back. Be aware it's valet parking only.

A Michelin rated restaurant that deserves a star!! Parking: this venue is in a quasi residential area so there is really only valet parking available. Valet folks were nice and it was not too pricey! Drinks: LARGE selection of wines and spirits...from the very affordable to very expensive!! We some of their specialty cocktails! Food: I generally don't love Michelin restaurants but this one was really amazing. Great portion sizes and delicious flavor! We had the grilled branzino, brisket bao buns, lamb chops, twice baked potato, broccolini and Mac and Cheese! Check out the pics! Everything was great!! Service: very good. Coincidentally, we were served by a guy named Daniel! Atmosphere/vibe: it is not a large venue so it feels very intimate. It was packed. The bar is pressed right up against where you meet the hostess so that is a little awkward. Age group: all ages but no very young kids Bathroom: pretty basic for such a nice establishment Return:yes!

Looks like they offer dining room seating and something called federal highway seating. What's the difference and any suggestions?

There is a seating area at the front of the building adjacent to Federal Highway, its slightly more segregated from the seating area in the restaurant, I like it when we have a group of six, maybe 8 people. No real "view" unless maybe you like…

I politely asked if the seasoning could simply be left off due to an allergy, and my request was refused. Rather than accommodating a simple dietary restriction, I was told that the dish wouldn't taste the way the chef intended. While I understand wanting to preserve the intended flavor, customer health and safety should come first--especially when dealing with allergies. I find it concerning that no effort was made to accommodate a reasonable request or even ask about the severity of the allergy. In today's restaurant industry, flexibility and customer care are important. Unfortunately, I found the service to be very unaccommodating, and given the high prices, I expected much better. I will not be returning.

The combination of exceptional food, expertly crafted cocktails, and the vibrant backdrop of live jazz creates an experience that keeps bringing us back. Every interaction reflected professionalism, warmth, attentiveness, and genuine attention to detail. She anticipated our needs before we had to ask and made us feel like valued guests throughout the entire evening. In an industry where great service can be difficult to find, Daniela reminded us what world-class hospitality looks like. She transformed an excellent dinner into a memorable experience. Ambiance: Moody / Chic…read more First impression: I was escorted to a booth- sprinkled with Happy Birthday confetti, a hand-written card, and a glass of prosecco. Pipin' fresh bread was dropped off momentarily after the initial greetings and drinks. Currently, I'm typing this and happily munching on warm buttery bread as a live band plays nearby. My order has been placed. I knew exactly what I wanted. The 22oz Bone in ribeye, truffle mac and cheese, creamy mash potatoes, grilled asparagus and Dr Pepper in a wine glass- that's all she wrote. Side note, I typically like being surprise by the menu but since I'm from out of town and it's for my birthday- I had to scout out menus beforehand. Anyways- Will update soon when everything comes out. It's 7:27 on 7/27. Hehehe Everything is out. Steak: It wasn't cook to my liking, still bleeding a tad. Not an artery level but not my cuppa tea. No biggies, it got sent back and I tried again. Doneness is right but flavor was lacking. When I go for these special dinners, I expect to be transported away the min I taste the steak. So that was a bit disappointing, however management and service were excellent there. From the moment I stepped in, I felt special. They made my birthday a big deal and when they asked about my experience- they listened whole heartedly and were very attentive. Overall, the ambiance with service carried this dinner. It was still very enjoyable for me. But let's not forget about the side dishes and dessert! Onto the others: Truffle Mac & Cheese- I can taste the truffle and the flavors were great, only thing was texture. The mac was a hair under al dente and so the mac & cheese experience fell a wee bit short. Mash potatoes- It was good, I like mine creamy and more whipped. This one is a bit more texturally. Asparagus- It was asparagus lol. Banana foster cake- wowed by the presentation. I love the butter pecan ice cream. The cake itself is moist in the center, the outer edges are edgy-dodge them lol. To sum it up, I would definitely dine here again or at their other locations. I felt so celebrated and heard, it truly made a difference.
