Had an incredible birthday dinner with Nelson as our server a few weeks ago. We enjoyed some happy hour drinks at the bar (great deal on nice wines, and the slider looked insane!) before sitting in the beautiful, VERY comfortable, and modern dining room. I really enjoyed the lighter and brighter aesthetic instead of the dark, trying-to-be-seductive, classic steakhouse vibe. Being Florida-focused in their kitchen is also a novel spin. A black napkin being offered for my dark pants was a great touch I often miss as a demi-goth. Nelson was incredibly gracious and took his time answering our questions and lending his suggestions. The classic Caesar and wagyu tartare were both incredibly tasty. I'm usually a die hard Ribeye person, but I ended up trying my first beef wellington from the Christmas seasonal menu -- it was absolutely stunning to look at and tasted even better. I'm STILL daydreaming about it weeks later. Just like the starters, it was very apparent a labor of love and incredible ingredients were coming together in the kitchen. As we finished up we were pretty full and decided to pass on dessert. Nelson surprised me with a key lime pie with passionfruit and meringue to finish off an absolutely perfect meal. The atmosphere was nice, I thought the food was good, but not great and I really despise that they charged us for every glass of water, we drank. I've never been to any restaurant that charged you for tapwater. The waitress said it was because they filter it before they pour it in our glass and in an obnoxious way said it's an expensive filter. What? That turned me off to going again. read more

We had high expectations upon visiting Daniels for the first time based on excellent reviews and a strong social media following. When we got to the restaurant, there was no parking so you have to valet, which costs $10.00 The restaurant was packed and extremely noisy. The menu is limited but the Short Ribs & Wedge salad were outstanding. The 14oz Wagyu NY strip steak was underwhelming for the price. We did want to mention that the servers provided fantastic service especially Tamas. Based on this entire experience, we will not be in a hurry to return anytime soon. read more

Where to start? Everything about this little hidden gem was amazing. We randomly discovered while searching for a top. Itch stack house locally. Had no clue they were so close and michelin star. While the price point is high, the food quality is even higher. My wife and I recently tried Daniel's for my wife's early birthday dinner. We had two waiters that made sure our drinks were always full and the table cleaned in between courses. You knew they were around but they weren't hawking you at the same time, excellent. For the appetizers we had the Foie Gras Crème Brûlée as well as the Florida blue crab cakes. Both were exceptional, the foie gras, we are not strangers to but the compliments that came with it elevate the dish to a different level. The blue crab cakes had almost no filler which was AMAZING. Next up, we had the milk butter rolls(very good). For entrees, my wife had the tres medallions of wagyu. You can really taste the differences. She enjoyed but ultimately preferred the Florida arrowhead wagyu ribeye that I had, it was seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare. For sides we shared the side mushrooms and the lobster Mac and cheese. The mushrooms were ok but I would try another side next time, the lobster Mac and cheese was heavily loaded with lobster and tasted so. Very good but if you aren't a lobster fan you should consider another side as there was almost more lobster flavor than cheese. Lastly, we settled down with the skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream. Very. Very good. Ultimately, I will definitely be back for other occasions. There really wasn't a single thing I'd change, the staff was excellent and the food was even better! read more

Absolutely excellent. It is a beautiful restaurant inside and out. I cannot recommend the cowboy ribeye with the rigatoni vodka as a side enough. The espresso martinis and desserts were also fantastic. It was the best meal I have ever had at a steakhouse. Our servers and all of the staff were very attentive. At one point, I accidentally dropped my fork and I literally had a new one in 15 seconds. Our drinks were always full. I cannot think of a time I have had better service. Finally, I would be remiss if I did not mention how gracious and personable the owner was. It is not cheap but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I ordered the Delmonico medium and the waiter told me the steak was well marbled so he preferred that cut medium as opposed to medium rare which would not cook the fat out as much. I was very excited to finally try out what people say is one of the best steakhouses in south Florida. Service was very good only issue was the $78 8oz filet came out and was probably 4oz they tried to make a excuse that it shrunk when it was cooked but once I said I asked for it medium rare they knew it was completely screwing over their patron. Unfortunately I had high expectations and I will never go back there. I'm all for paying top dollar for a high end experience . Went to Daniel's on a friday night without reservations and immediately sat at the bar. I usually read menus before going anywhere, but I didn't at Daniel's and was very underwhelmed. Every appetizer has a weird twist and that follows throughout the entire menu. We got the bread and citrus butter - 1/5 stars given it was still edible. The bread was dry, and the butter may have well have been frozen since we could barely cut through it with a knife, let alone spread it on the cold bread. Skipped the apps and went right to the steak and sides. The only vegetable that isn't creamed is asparagus. I got a filet ordered medium, and others got the waygu strip and cowboy ribeye ordered medium rare. All three steaks came out undercooked. Side orders were corn pudding, fries and truffle potatoes. The potatoes were soupy, the fries were all 1 inch long, and the corn was just ok. On top of that, I constantly had to ask for my water to be topped off. I wouldn't mind usually, but I expect stellar service when spending $500+ at THE BAR. Hostess stand was right behind our seats so it felt a bit awkward. Not a terrible flaw but made the vibe not feel as upscale. Overall experience was underwhelming and subpar. I have no desire to go back here. Maybe it's because they're newly opened and trying to figure out how to best operate, but one would only hope they could get the temperature on the steak right. read more

The Hamachi crudo, paired with strawberries, was heavenly--fresh fish sliced whisper-thin. Skipper Sweet oysters from North Florida burst with briny freshness. It's evident the Executive Chef and Owner are devoted to sourcing the finest ingredients. The foie gras creme brulee was a revelation--not too sweet, with seared grade-A foie gras, coconut, cashews, and mangoes balancing its lusciousness. I'm picky about wedge salads, and Daniels delivered: crisp, with stellar bacon and Valdeon Bleu cheese, a steakhouse essential done right. The menu highlighted local Florida ingredients and small U.S. farms, emphasizing peak-season quality. Our 35-day aged Greater Omaha ribeye was outstanding and cooked a perfect medium rare. Sides, prepared fresh to order, featured Malabar cream spinach, Zellwood Farms corn, and a decadent twice-baked potato casserole--all exceptional. We noticed the owner on duty Sunday night, personally ensuring guests were cared for, he stopped by our table multiple times. Walked in and sat at the bar at 430 for 20 min at the bar at which the bartender where there and ignored me said nothing till a manager told me they don't open till 5 and I had to wait outside . I made a reservation for the steak house for Saturday at 845 . I got there at 830 . I didn't get seated till 930. The apps had good presentation but tasted bad . Steak was good but nothing special . Let me start out by saying, I was blown away by the atmosphere, the great energy and vibe that was generated from other patrons and the staff! I fell in love, If we lived in Florida we would go often. James and Jacob were so knowledgeable about the menu and they understood we wanted to take our time and enjoy our special night. We shared the Caesar salad and it was delicious! Next we had the Cacao de Pepe and there are not enough words to describe how absolutely fantastic this dish was!!! Seriously, I came back from Italy a month ago and I ordered this at the best restaurant in Rome and it was better at Daniel's! I don't think I have had a better meal than this one in a few years! Daniel's, A Florida Steakhouse This week, my girlfriend and I along with my brother, his wife and another couple celebrated our close friend's birthday with a spectacular dinner at Daniel's, A Florida Steakhouse! Daniel's founder and owner and successful local attorney, Thomas Angelo was a most gracious host along with his daughter, Kassidy. Let me start by saying, Daniel's has an electric atmosphere, and it is immediately apparent when you walk through the front door, this is the place to be. A Wednesday night and the entire restaurant was packed! The ambiance is elegant, yet comfortable. I love the layout and the décor. It is admittedly quite loud throughout the restaurant and bar, but that really is a true reflection of just how much fun everyone is having. I know I had a great time! The cocktails, especially the signature Daniel's Martini, I found to be expertly prepared, and I loved the unique presentation. The wine list is comprehensive and as Daniel's describes it, there is "something to be enjoyed by every palate and at every price point." We enjoyed several bottles of excellent red wine throughout our various courses. An open kitchen adds to the contemporary layout and connects you to the wonderful culinary creations being prepared and served to the tables filled with hungry patrons. The service is impeccable and the staff, while not intrusive, is merely a glance away should you need anything at all. As for the food itself, where do I even begin? This is most definitely a high-end steakhouse with some of the best beef I have ever tasted. I personally tried both the Prime Creekstone Porterhouse and the Australian Margaret River Wagyu NY Strip, but we started with a couple of their memorable salads. The Basil Caesar and Swank Farms Kale & Hearts of Palm were delightful. The menu includes a healthy number of appetizers to accommodate a wide variety of tastes. There are also several Florida seafood entrees (Key West Hog Fish) and a couple of delicious pasta dishes. You'll find a nice collection of sides, which like at any great steakhouse, are not to be missed. The Corn Pudding and Truffled Cream Spinach were rich and decadent. I also tried several of the wonderful sauces with the different steak entrees we ordered. Absolutely delicious, as was the entire meal from beginning to end. My husband, mom and I went to Daniel's last night. We have heard great things and had to try it out. The ambiance is beautiful and chic, so dress your best! We were sat quickly even though we were late for our resy. The cocktail and wine menu have a lot of great offerings. My mom is a sweet drink kind of person and she enjoyed their punch. My husband and I split a bottle of red. We ordered the bao buns and crab cake to start. Both were incredible. The bun had prosciutto and as someone who eats out a lot, it's a pleasure to see unique options. I ordered the pork chop for dinner and the other two ordered cuts of steak with twice baked and creamed spinach. The steaks were of course lovely as this is their main offering but the Iberico pork chop sounded just different enough to be amazing. My pork chop stole the show! The whole experience was lovely. The bill was high but you're paying for the quality and service which was great. If I had to say one negative thing, it's almost too popular so by the time we were leaving, it was PACKED and for that reason, loud. So if you want a more intimate feel, try for a weekday or an earlier resy time. read more
