It hadn't been necessary to purchase a refrigerator for a long time which is probably how it should be. Who runs out to get the latest thing in refrigerators unless doing a budget busting complete renovation. Last year it was the electric range/oven's turn to give out. Unprepared, we went to a Big Box store and now deal every day with a range with incomprehensible bells and whistles. (The clock is in sync now only because I like to experiment by clicking on buttons.) So no way would I shop for an appliance again without doing some homework. After researching and learning much about how the industry has changed, not in a good way, I searched Yelp for the best place to buy a kitchen appliance. Yelp came to the rescue. Restaurant reviews can be to some degree subjective but a service is not. Johnnies was highly rated, as it should be. Sophia was a wonderful salesperson and found a refrigerator that met our needs and price range perfectly. Really wonderful communication. When delivery and installation was made, David absolutely provided the most efficient and pleasant experience. They spoke of an upcoming move to a new location nearby so the address given here may no longer be correct. read more

Bought a 2,000 dollar fridge 2 months ago. Fridge freezer had a bad seal. Paid for the extra warranty as well. My freezer is still not working and we are waiting on parts. Extra warranty did nothing. I'll go to Home depot or Costco next time. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! If I could do 0 stars I would do it. I have never worked with a more incapable company in my life. I would be highly alarmed and consider an inspection of work completed if they've done work for you in the past. The first red flag should have turned me away, they failed to confirm or book an appointment for my tenant experiencing stove issues. After I called and scheduled the appointment with the virtual assistance myself, the tech shows up and diagnoses a problem. Red flag 2, he mysteriously didn't submit his report after the appointment and waited until the next morning to do do when parts shops were all closed for the weekend. Then I had to call back to see about ordering the parts, after they received my $110 service fee they were nonchalant about earning further business. I pressed them and got the order placed for parts. Fast forward a couple of weeks- and a new technician comes out- not the first one- and diagnosis that a new stove is needed. 22 days. They then offered to put the $110 towards the new stove that is needed. After a $1500 rent concession for no stove use for 3/4 of the month. You can not make this stuff up. Can not be trusted! BUYER BEWARE!!!! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! Terrible from the start! If you like used car salesmen, then have at it! Service, Delivery and Conduct absolutely Terrible! Lies and false promises. SALES, Sophia Not good. Kept leaving us to help other people that walked in after. Went to purchase a fridge, washer and dryer. Spent two hours to accomplish nothing! Wasn't that knowledgeable either. After our third attempt which should have been an indicator, but we thought as long as we get the appliances, who cares how bad this experience might be! Wrong, gets worse! Delivery, Tommy promise to send two people, nope one. Definitely two person job. The washer and dryer was a floor model. Requested it to wrapped up, nope! Arrived damaged. So we refused it. Driver David damage three walls in the process! I called very upset, James said..."we'll take care of the walls. This happens all the time!" Yikes! The fridge was delivered with a POD (payment on delivery) thank goodness! So after paying now they say we owe more. Cheyenne said that for all the mishaps that we would be compensated. James is threatening us by taking us to collections and canceling the warranty. It's paid in full. Proof we paid by check for the total price confirmed by Cheyenne and David which included the compensation. If you are into lies, false promises and rotten service, have at it. I had been wanting to purchase an appliance for some time from Johnies and was excited when I needed to purchase a fridge from them. The person in the store was amazing. I inquired about the coin operated speed queen as I have tenants that I could use this for. It was exciting to be able to shop locally. This feeling soon faded when my delivery driver delivered the fridge to my house. My delivery was only $20 as they were going to just bring to my porch and leave. The window for delivery was between 1-5 pm. Around 2 pm I noticed that my phone was dying so I called the store to let them know that the delivery can still take place. I was told the delivery driver would be notified. I waited and waited and waited. My phone died at 4 pm. still not call from the driver and no fridge. I checked the time and at 4;59 a truck pulls up with the fridge. A small pick up truck with another fridge on the back. The guy driving the truck was one I recognized from the day before as I was purchasing my fridge. He was working in the store. I immediately became furious. Realizing that this so called delivery driver more than likely waited around the store to do these 2 deliveries .And at the very last minute literally is showing up after keeping me waiting for 4 hours. Not only did they deliver this fridge within 1 minute of the delivery window, the driver has a nasty antagonist attitude and was trying to in a very sarcastic tone bait me into an argument with him. He kept saying in the very strange way, ' You Good? Knowing I was furious. I realized in this moment that I would never, never purchase an appliance from Johnies and never never calll them for a repair. They had zero value for my time zero and on top of it all were just nasty. This driver ruined any and all hope of me setting foot into Johnies forever. There are too many places to shop for appliances than to deal with this disrespect and lack of service from this company. I have 3 properties and something is always breaking or needing replacement. I am glad they showed me how they operate prior to me having to purchase anything else. Too many places to shop where they actually give a damn and whose delivery drivers are excellent. What this driver did not know is that I had in my pocket a 20 dollars tip for each of them and was excited to give it to each of them. Showing up at 4:59 and wanting me to believe it's coincidence at my age is a joke. Your conduct cost your company more than you know. And cost you the easiest $20 you could have ever made. I am not sure but based on this drivers conduct must be related in some way to the owner. Because a real worker would never treat a customer in this passive aggressive nasty was and keep his job. There was small amount of damage done to my door frame. I told them it was ok but one guy ( I forgot both of their names. I went into this location to shop for a new dryer because mine had stop working. Instead of selling me a dryer right away Tommy recommended to check it out first through there repair guy to see if my problem was fixable. The repair was $99. I got an appointment in less than 24 hours. Sure enough, the problem was fixable. They had both parts and were able to fix it the same day. I was so happy and relieved that everything went smoothly and didn't have to spend $$$ for a new dryer. Tommy could've sold me a dryer costing me $700+ but instead he saved me some money and took care of me. I will forever be a loyal customer.
