Although there was some communication problems in the beginning. Something that will hopefully be made more clear to the customer when getting items sized. Like letting the customer know that it is sized by an outside person, and that it will be picked up and dropped off on certain days. I appreciate that the store resized my husband's ring to fit better. I also appreciate all the calls from Maria and the customer service from America. My mom brought her ring to be be serviced & tightened, and They switched my mom's diamond stone to another diamond and assumed she would not notice (she's had the same stone for 17 years). Eventually switched it back to the original and pretended my parents are just delusional ?. When I would call to ask when my parents could pick up they would hang up the phone. Called this location and they tried to up the price on me! I called the location in Temecula and Perris both are on the same page on the price of a men's wedding band I was looking at. Stopped by to get a few of my watches tuned up and after a few minutes and no one asking if I needed help I finally asked someone if they serviced watches so I wasn't waiting for a service they didn't provide. After that the service was fine but they told me that for watch service and batteries they had to send it out to a service center and it would take about a week. Since I had a few other daily watches it was ok for me and the service was a little pricier than I thought but I didn't want to shop around for a better price or shorter turnaround time. Went in to get my watch band repaired. They told me it would take several weeks. I decided to take it to a local jeweler in Sun City. She told me the repair person would be back in 20 minutes. In the mean time she took my watch in the back. She returned in 5 minutes with my watch band repaired. Cost was less than $5. Apparently the people at Daniel's Jewelers only know how to sell their products. They are not really knowledgeable on anything else. Very disappointing. Daniel's still has great products of which I have purchased a few. I will still buy from them but not get anything serviced. read more

I walked into the store at 7:40ish while the door was open to ask ab a bracelet I need re-dipped. The girl behind the counter was an orange blonde and told me they were closed. Mind you there was a man in there the girls were flirting and laughing with when I walked in. She indicated the store closed at 7, yet everything was wide open. She sent me on my way with no help and told me I could come back tomorrow after 11 bc they were closed and their computers were already off. Daniel's as a chain is just miserable. I can only say great things about this Jewelry store.Had a problem with my Invicta watch the staff went above and beyond to get my watch repaired even sent it out to Invicta manufacturer to be rebuilt.It had water damage and needed a new movement.They took time to have my watch repaired at a very reasonable cost.2 Weeks later they called and said my watch was fixed.When I picked it up I was amazed how great it looked .My watch looks brand new.The district manager greeted me and my daughter and took the time to explain what was done to my watch he even gave my daughter a gift card .Everyone was always so friendly and accomodating.Thank you Daniels jewelers in Menifee.Total cost to have my watch sent out and repaired was $50.00.The watch is 2 years old and cost me over $400.00. Completely shocked how overpriced their quotes are. My wife's engagement rings stone fell out and it need to be re-set. When I took it in there they quoted me $250 fix it. I ultimately decided not to pay that so I took it in to a local business to get a second quote. The local place quoted me $40 and even offered to resize it. I can't speak to Daniels jewelry sales but their repair is actually a rip off. read more

Just had them fix a diamond/emerald ring that has lost one of he gems. The emerald was rare and hard to find but they persevered and the match is perfect. also the jeweler made a necklace out of diamonds for my new bride that spelled out her name. great work. My watch has been in for repair since November 8, 2015 & I have called several times for status. The manager of the Menifee store took it in from me. She does not return my calls as promised when I call to follow up & no one can locate my watch. I've called corporate now & they are looking into it. I'm going to make a police report if it's not located by tomorrow. It was a gift from my husband for my son's first birthday. It's a Bulova with 24 diamonds. I will no longer recommend Daniels to anyone, after 8 years of buying all jewelry there. I would give ZERO stars if that was an option. Three months today & still no watch or refund. I went into the menifee store to buy a 1 caret diamond ring for my wife for Christmas. I thought while I was there I would have a battery put in her watch. So before I discussed the ring, I asked about installing a battery, although the woman asked could she help me, when I asked about the battery she said she was too busy to do that now. She wanted me to leave it and she would call me when it was ready. Then she informed me it would cost close to $30.00 . The battery only cost 2.19 on Amazon. And less than 5 minutes to replace. So since she didn't have the time your store lost a very good sale, plus a future customer. Thought management would like to know. read more

A few months ago my fiancé asked me to marry him using a plain band and the marquise that my father gave to my mother when they got married (my father has passed so it is very special to me). We went to a few different stores and decided that I was going to get a ring made at Daniels. Marybelle took her time helping me pick out a ring that I loved. The jeweler Anthony also sat down with me and talked to me about my ideas. He made me the most beautiful ring and I get compliments everywhere I go. Yesterday I stopped by the store to have my ring checked on and the girls told me he was busy and maybe I could come back the next day. Need to repair my ring as the main stone had fallen out of its setting. So they rebuilt the prongs for the single stone. When I received it, the prongs were definitely not buffed down from their sharp edges. Left it for them to do that, but I felt no change when I received it for the last time from them. And I do mean last. I don't really recommend if they felt that this is the best of their work to present it to the customer this way. read more

I have given Daniels a lot of money over the years, but after our last purchase we will never return. My son wanted a gold rope chain so we bought him one. Well it turned to silver so we took it to be cleaned. The lady told us that it would turn back to gold after cleaned but it didn't. After we waited over a week to get it back which they told us would only take 2 days. When my son got his necklace it was still silver looking and when asked about it they said he only wanted it cleaned not replated. We were confused because they never told us when we bought it that it was sterling silver gold plated. They told us it was real gold. So now we are out hundreds of dollars of dollars on a sterling silver necklace that is not worth that price. Please don't make the mistake we did. Take your money somewhere else because we will from now own. I am just upset that they lied to us to make a sale. read more

How awful!! My husband took me in here to buy me an anniversary gift and a lady came over to help me look at a necklace. Then I asked if they made custom jewelry because I needed a second band made and all the sudden the phone rang and she panics grabs the necklace, hands me my ring back, and yells over to the workers she'll get the phone. All while I'm standing there about to buy the necklace. She walks away gets the phone and that's it we just walk out. She never said anything else and no other employee came over. Let me start by saying that all the customer service I had received was excellent, but does that matter when you find out you paid for a service you did not receive? Before our wedding I came here to have my rings sautered together. I come to pick it up and the rings are obviously 2 different sizes. This is my fault for not realizing my then soon to be husband did not have the wedding band resized but I was bothered no one called to clarify before putting them together. So I pay to have them resized and reattached and we are dangerously close to my wedding day at this point. I pick up my rings at 8 pm the night before my wedding because that's when they would be done as the ring sizer is flying out the door saying goodbye to everyone. I try them on but they are tight but I am getting married tomorrow so I have no choice. Shortly after our wedding, I got pregnant so the rings came off. Post baby, I want to put them back on but no hope. I went to a different jeweler because I didn't feel comfortable with Daniel's. Come to find out the rings that I paid to have sized up to a 6.25... were sized down to a 5.75. So instead of sizing up a quarter, I was wearing rings even smaller than I had before. Anyways, the staff is nice but do not count on them for your resizing/ring care needs. read more

Taken them 10 minutes to print a receipt. They even tried to not refund the full money since the ring was sized but their policy clearly states that 3 or more sizes.
