The perfume class was an excellent experience. We booked for two for the afternoon perfume making class, which is an entirely oil based class. I believe the class can seat 10-12 per session. There were six of us in this session. The session was about 1.5hrs in all. Parking is easy in the large plaza Upon checking in, we were greeted and shown to our seats. There was a nice card with our name on it, a spread of different scents and a work area with paper, a personalized bottle for our final product. Our teacher, Daniel, not the Daniel's Truth. Daniel was a great communicator and teacher. I honestly didn't know what to expect going in since my knowledge of perfumes is very basic aside from what brands I like. Daniel gave us an introduction on the company history, locations in Korea and other offerings. I felt like I learned a lot about the different items out on the market, the different brandings and marketing. Never knew the differences between an parfum or a toilette until today. As we went through the class, we went through each layer of parfum, creating our own unique combinations. I appreciate Daniel's informative explanation on the different scents, as well as the tips on what may conflict or not work with each other. In the end, we got to smell each person's scent and a winner is chosen to win a special prize. It's amazing how each person has the same spread, but everyone created their own unique scent. At the end, we also received a goodie bag that included a random hand cream and a gift card to used on their products. It's a memorable experience I would do again and you come out learning something new with a personal keepsake you can use. Daniel did inform us that the spread of oils will change in the future to be more fall themed soon. Maybe they'll change them for spring time as well Also learned they will be offering the cocktail and perfume class soon, which I will highly consider. Overall a great experience. I do like their signature scents as well so I'll definitely be picking them up soon with the gift card.

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and had such a fun time! Ironically, neither of us wear fragrances daily, so this was a unique experience for us. Our class was taught by Daniel (not the Daniel of Daniel's Truth), and he was super helpful and knowledgeable throughout. Each person had their own little station with a wide selection of oils -- top notes, middle notes, and base notes. I appreciated that we started off with a bit of background on the history of perfumes, how they're made and sold, and what each type of note means. I went in thinking I knew my scent preferences, but after smelling each oil, I realized I lean more toward fresh, citrusy florals -- which is what I ended up creating! After making our signature scents, we named and presented them to the class, sharing the story behind each one. At the end, we were gifted a little goodie bag with a sample of one of Daniel's Truth perfumes, an engraved roll-on bottle for our creation, and a $50 gift card to the store. Plus, one of the sweet employees even gave us a cupcake! Overall, it was such an awesome learning experience and a really fun, unique way to spend time with a loved one. Highly recommend!

Booked a perfume making class at Daniel's Truth to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Booking online was very simple and hassle free. My best friend had taken this class a few months ago and recommended it to me, and I definitely recommend as well! Daniel was very friendly, FUNNY, and explained everything in great detail. In this class you are able to make your own personal perfume/oil, starting from top notes, to middle notes and base notes. It may be hard given that there are so many scents to choose from but you will end up with something so unique and personal to use for years to come. The store itself is very aesthetically pleasing, bright and clean. All the staff here are friendly and help you find your perfect scent. I highly recommend this class if you're interested in learning about perfume , interested in finding your own signature scent, and looking for an activity to do with your friends or significant other.

As a perfume curious girlie, I've always wanted to physically make my own scent. With Daniel's Truth in town, we figured it would be a fun treat yourself experience! The perfume class is $100 and can be booked on their website. Our class was a group of 10, and upon arrival, we got to test a group of top, middle, and base notes. We tested them on scent papers and on our own skin, before bottling up our creation. I started with a muddy perfume, but by the end of class, I ended up with a bottle of what I'd describe as a citrusy garden, which was what I was going for! Booking the class also comes with several perks, including our funny and knowledgeable guidance by Daniel, and the many gifts they provided us with. We left with samples, lotion, our own scent, and our own engraved bottles. I would totally do this again and would certainly recommend this for everyone!

This was my second time at Daniel's Truth and it was just as amazing as the first. Daniel is an incredible teacher and the experience of creating your own oil is so unique and creative. I made an oil called 'Writer's Block' and somehow the entire experience felt like sitting in a warm living room, surrounded by inspiration. You can tell there's real passion and artistry behind what he teaches. He will also help you balance your scent if you went overboard!

Amazing class. Thursday night from 7p-830pm. Peter explained the process thoroughly. Had us choose top, middle and base note. Also explained how each notes compliments each other and how everything worls together. They have 2 classes, thursday and Saturday. Starts on time. Takes roughly 1.5 hrs. Overall, a great experience. Learned a lot. Will do it again for the experience.

I'm from PA and am visiting a friend who's local here. I saw this as a recommended experience on Instagram that I knew we just had to try! So I booked us the perfume class experience, and it was fantastic! Our teacher was Daniel -not in relation to the company's namesake- and he gave us a lesson on perfume history and showed how top, middle, and base notes work in a fragrance. We came during the release of a new scent, so we got cool blue drinks while making our perfumes. Totally awesome experience! Wow! What an awesome activity to do with friends or even alone! The staff was so knowledgeable, helping us create our perfect scent. What I loved most was how engaging and a bit of poetic this experience was. The aesthetic vibe of the place was so spot on, really made me feel the ambiance and I really enjoyed every moment! It is a perfect little date activity. The instructors are super nice and they go step by step instructing you what to do to make your perfect scent. I loved the way my perfume came out to be. They also have lots of products you can purchase. I purchased the bombshell hand cream. I am super happy with the products and the time I spent at Daniel's Truth. My sister-in-law scheduled a date at Daniel's Truth for all the women in our family last year and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. I had no idea what to expect and I left so surprised by the great experience we all had! The perfume experts at Daniel's Truth were incredibly knowledgeable about perfume making and presented their expertise in an engaging way. They helped guide us to formulate our own perfumes while we brought our own individuality into each of our concoctions. Even stepping into Daniel's Truth, the set up was like entering a designer store. You automatically relax and you admire the beauty of the presentations of every perfume bottle inside. Going through their presentation, learning to be in tune with who I am, and formulating my very own perfume was a very memorable and fun experience. I would recommend it to anyone! read more

The funniest thing about this location is that you can see all the boyfriends, husbands, and partners and their kids just waiting outside milling around on their phones while their S.O. is shopping inside. When I went on the weekend it was pretty packed. I liked that there are some brands you don't generally see at other Asian beauty shops and that there are samples you can, I guess smell or swatch. There's make up, skincare (serums, toners, sunblock, face wash, etc.), hair care, body care, and some household goods like those air freshener sticks. However, after a quick look through I was just ok with the prices and the selection that they have here for my own beauty and skincare needs. Some of the items are a couple dollars more expensive that what I could find online, but that's understandable. I think my only issue was the stock that they had of what was carried and the state of the samples. Most of what did pique my interest, the cute eye shadow palettes and make up, were all sold out but were still on display (10+ items like this not just a couple) and the samples that were out for swatching looked absolutely disgusting and dirty. Smeared lipstick and cream and blush everywhere, some had hair and dust and other things in it. I dipped real quick. I don't know, I've been spoiled with ShinuyaLa and I'm genuinely quite surprised there's no K-beauty shop equivalent that does it like them.

They were having their annual sale where you can buy body care items for $4.95. The lady at the front door was GREAT. She pulled me in and made sure I was aware of the deals. She was super friendly and had amazing energy. This location is pretty big and has a lot in stock. I have gone to others that were not fully stocked, so this was a plus. I did not have an issue finding what I wanted. Plus, the store is super clean and updated with cool decor. The sales associates are also quick when ringing you up. Even though there was a line, I was able to get out of there quick which was a plus. Great location and great staff!
