I had a wonderful time tonight making my own perfume with my best friend and aunt at Daniel's Truth. Our class was lead by two amazing hosts, Daniel and Euan, who made the experience so much fun. This would be an awesome activity to do with your loved ones or friends, they even host group parties ! 10/10 recommend. I will definitely be back !

I love the smell of Bombshelluth. I attended K-expo in LA. It was amazing! Love it! Happy to have great experience here! Thank you!

The perfume class was an excellent experience. We booked for two for the afternoon perfume making class, which is an entirely oil based class. I believe the class can seat 10-12 per session. There were six of us in this session. The session was about 1.5hrs in all. Parking is easy in the large plaza Upon checking in, we were greeted and shown to our seats. There was a nice card with our name on it, a spread of different scents and a work area with paper, a personalized bottle for our final product. Our teacher, Daniel, not the Daniel's Truth. Daniel was a great communicator and teacher. I honestly didn't know what to expect going in since my knowledge of perfumes is very basic aside from what brands I like. Daniel gave us an introduction on the company history, locations in Korea and other offerings. I felt like I learned a lot about the different items out on the market, the different brandings and marketing. Never knew the differences between an parfum or a toilette until today. As we went through the class, we went through each layer of parfum, creating our own unique combinations. I appreciate Daniel's informative explanation on the different scents, as well as the tips on what may conflict or not work with each other. In the end, we got to smell each person's scent and a winner is chosen to win a special prize. It's amazing how each person has the same spread, but everyone created their own unique scent. At the end, we also received a goodie bag that included a random hand cream and a gift card to used on their products. It's a memorable experience I would do again and you come out learning something new with a personal keepsake you can use. Daniel did inform us that the spread of oils will change in the future to be more fall themed soon. Maybe they'll change them for spring time as well Also learned they will be offering the cocktail and perfume class soon, which I will highly consider. Overall a great experience. I do like their signature scents as well so I'll definitely be picking them up soon with the gift card.

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and had such a fun time! Ironically, neither of us wear fragrances daily, so this was a unique experience for us. Our class was taught by Daniel (not the Daniel of Daniel's Truth), and he was super helpful and knowledgeable throughout. Each person had their own little station with a wide selection of oils -- top notes, middle notes, and base notes. I appreciated that we started off with a bit of background on the history of perfumes, how they're made and sold, and what each type of note means. I went in thinking I knew my scent preferences, but after smelling each oil, I realized I lean more toward fresh, citrusy florals -- which is what I ended up creating! After making our signature scents, we named and presented them to the class, sharing the story behind each one. At the end, we were gifted a little goodie bag with a sample of one of Daniel's Truth perfumes, an engraved roll-on bottle for our creation, and a $50 gift card to the store. Plus, one of the sweet employees even gave us a cupcake! Overall, it was such an awesome learning experience and a really fun, unique way to spend time with a loved one. Highly recommend!

Booked a perfume making class at Daniel's Truth to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Booking online was very simple and hassle free. My best friend had taken this class a few months ago and recommended it to me, and I definitely recommend as well! Daniel was very friendly, FUNNY, and explained everything in great detail. In this class you are able to make your own personal perfume/oil, starting from top notes, to middle notes and base notes. It may be hard given that there are so many scents to choose from but you will end up with something so unique and personal to use for years to come. The store itself is very aesthetically pleasing, bright and clean. All the staff here are friendly and help you find your perfect scent. I highly recommend this class if you're interested in learning about perfume , interested in finding your own signature scent, and looking for an activity to do with your friends or significant other.

Took the perfume making class and it was so much fun. We learned about the top, middle and base layers. So informative and fun! Daniel (not THE Daniel) taught us and he was so patient and FUNNY! 10/10 would take again.

As a perfume curious girlie, I've always wanted to physically make my own scent. With Daniel's Truth in town, we figured it would be a fun treat yourself experience! The perfume class is $100 and can be booked on their website. Our class was a group of 10, and upon arrival, we got to test a group of top, middle, and base notes. We tested them on scent papers and on our own skin, before bottling up our creation. I started with a muddy perfume, but by the end of class, I ended up with a bottle of what I'd describe as a citrusy garden, which was what I was going for! Booking the class also comes with several perks, including our funny and knowledgeable guidance by Daniel, and the many gifts they provided us with. We left with samples, lotion, our own scent, and our own engraved bottles. I would totally do this again and would certainly recommend this for everyone!

Amazing class. Thursday night from 7p-830pm. Peter explained the process thoroughly. Had us choose top, middle and base note. Also explained how each notes compliments each other and how everything worls together. They have 2 classes, thursday and Saturday. Starts on time. Takes roughly 1.5 hrs. Overall, a great experience. Learned a lot. Will do it again for the experience.

K-Expo fragrance booth was so fun! Such rich fragrances. The vintage aesthetics were really cute.

Christine P.

I really enjoyed the scents, very relaxing and really does show the creator drawing inspiration from the sea, mountains, fields and cities luxury

The notes will smell to create your own scent!

This was my second time at Daniel's Truth and it was just as amazing as the first. Daniel is an incredible teacher and the experience of creating your own oil is so unique and creative. I made an oil called 'Writer's Block' and somehow the entire experience felt like sitting in a warm living room, surrounded by inspiration. You can tell there's real passion and artistry behind what he teaches. He will also help you balance your scent if you went overboard!

My cousin and I took the Signature Perfume Class on Saturday. We both had an amazing time. Daniel (not the Daniel of Daniel's Truth), our instructor was knowledgeable and charismatic. The class started with a brief history of perfume and the company. Also, he discussed the differences between the perfume strengths (eau de cologne, eau de toilette, etc). As someone who enjoys and purchases perfume, this was extremely valuable information. The perfume making aspect of the class was very hands on. Though I made a mistake (not due to Daniel's ability in teaching, but due to my lack of caffeine hehe), Daniel was quick with the solution to fix my issue. I was worried my perfume was going to smell horrible, but it turned out smelling wonderful. My bf loves the scent on me. Thank you Daniel! Highly recommend this class. My cousin and I will definitely be back for other classes.

My experience was so fun and interactive! Scents were top tier! Lots of good scents and being able to customize my scent at the K EXPO USA! Caroline was awesome!!!

I'm from PA and am visiting a friend who's local here. I saw this as a recommended experience on Instagram that I knew we just had to try! So I booked us the perfume class experience, and it was fantastic! Our teacher was Daniel -not in relation to the company's namesake- and he gave us a lesson on perfume history and showed how top, middle, and base notes work in a fragrance. We came during the release of a new scent, so we got cool blue drinks while making our perfumes. Overall, a charming, laid-back class that resulted in me making a cool, unique fragrance to take home and getting a cute gift bag with extra goodies! Would totally recommend! read more

The funniest thing about this location is that you can see all the boyfriends, husbands, and partners and their kids just waiting outside milling around on their phones while their S.O. is shopping inside. When I went on the weekend it was pretty packed. I liked that there are some brands you don't generally see at other Asian beauty shops and that there are samples you can, I guess smell or swatch. There's make up, skincare (serums, toners, sunblock, face wash, etc.), hair care, body care, and some household goods like those air freshener sticks. However, after a quick look through I was just ok with the prices and the selection that they have here for my own beauty and skincare needs. Some of the items are a couple dollars more expensive that what I could find online, but that's understandable. I think my only issue was the stock that they had of what was carried and the state of the samples. Most of what did pique my interest, the cute eye shadow palettes and make up, were all sold out but were still on display (10+ items like this not just a couple) and the samples that were out for swatching looked absolutely disgusting and dirty. Smeared lipstick and cream and blush everywhere, some had hair and dust and other things in it. I dipped real quick. I don't know, I've been spoiled with ShinuyaLa and I'm genuinely quite surprised there's no K-beauty shop equivalent that does it like them.

My friends and I had such a great time at Daniel's Truth for the perfume and mocktail class! Daniel and Euan were both incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they did such a great job hosting the class. They explained everything really well, kept everyone laughing with their jokes, and made the whole experience feel fun and relaxed. We got to learn about all of the different scents, experiment with different combinations, and create our own custom perfumes. It was really fun smelling everything and seeing which combinations everyone gravitated toward. The scents are also really nice quality. I could still smell my perfume lingering on me the following day! After we finished our perfumes, Daniel and Euan made everyone custom drinks based on their individual tastes and preferences. They were so good and were a really fun way to finish the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back for another class. We'll be recommending Daniel's Truth to our friends and family. I highly recommend checking them out, whether you're interested in making your own perfume or just looking for a fun experience! read more

I had such an amazing experience at this perfume-making class! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, creative, and just really fun. Daniel is phenomenal! He is super knowledgeable and made the whole process easy to understand. We got to smell and learn about so many different notes, from fresh citrus to deep, warm woods, and experiment with creating our own custom scent. What I loved most was how hands-on everything was. You're not just watching--you're actually building your own perfume step by step, and Daniel gives helpful guidance without taking over your creativity. By the end, I walked away with a scent that felt totally unique to me, which is so cool! I feel fancy! . It hone Highly recommend this class if you're looking for a fun, creative, and memorable experience. I'd absolutely do it again! read more

An unforgettable experience Daniel Truth's perfume class is nothing short of magical. His passion for scent is contagious, and his knowledge runs deep. He shares everything from the chemistry behind fragrance notes to the emotional stories each blend can tell. The class is fully hands-on and truly immersive. We didn't just learn about perfume, we created our own. Daniel offered guidance with helpful tips, gentle corrections, and encouraging words throughout the process. The space was beautiful, the materials were high quality, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. I left with a custom perfume and a new appreciation for the art of fragrance. This class is perfect for anyone curious about scent or looking for a creative and memorable experience. read more

I had such a fun experience at Daniel's Truth! I went in not knowing much about fragrances and ended up getting a much-needed crash course on how different scents work and how to create something that feels uniquely you. I loved that I got to actually experiment with different fragrances and customize my own scent. I chose Blue Sage Blossom, Bombshelluth, and the Taurus fragrance, and somehow my final creation ended up smelling like Dior Sauvage -- definitely not what I expected, but I was obsessed with it! The whole experience was such a fun and creative activity, especially if you love fragrance or want to try something different. I'd 100% recommend booking a class if you're looking for a unique experience in Orange County! read more

I recently attended a perfume-making class at Daniel's Truth, and it was such a unique and delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel comfortable. They guided me through the entire process, allowing me to explore a wide range of scents and ingredients to create my very own custom fragrance. What made the class truly stand out was the personal touch - the instructors took time to understand my preferences and helped me blend scents that reflected my personality. Without a doubt, I'll be going back to try out new blends and refine my personal scent. If you're looking for a memorable and hands-on experience, I highly recommend! read more

I went to Daniel's Choice in Buena Park for a perfume-making class, and I absolutely loved it! The entire experience was so much more than I expected -- relaxing, creative, and incredibly personalized. Our instructor was kind, patient, and knowledgeable; he guided us through each step and helped us discover our own unique scent. The atmosphere was elegant but comfortable, and I loved how hands-on everything was. I left with a custom perfume that smells amazing and feels like "me" in a bottle. I highly recommend checking this place out. I'll definitely be back for another blend! read more

The Perfect Bite Does Exist. There is a specific art to a well-constructed gyro, and this spot absolutely nailed the assignment. The balance of the zesty tzatziki against the savory, flame-seared chicken is a masterclass in flavor profile. The fries are the real unsung hero here--perfectly golden, hit with just the right amount of salt, and served piping hot. It's elevated comfort food that manages to feel both trendy and timeless. If you haven't been here yet, you're officially behind on the trend. read more

This was wayyyyyy harder than we thought lol…read more We made a reservation for 2 pm to do their custom perfume experience and paid for the engraving (you get to name it and they engrave it) We arrived and there was a shift change, so Carre took over and helped us the rest of the way. When you arrive you take a test to see what kind of perfume category you fit into as a suggestion They even have you meditate for a few minutes in another section of the place to see what pops into your mind and what you are craving in life You do a LOT! We were here for two hours. You even write a post card to your future self and they mail it to you at a completely Random time. Could be tomorrow, could be a year from now. After doing all the quizzes and etc, they hand you a sheet of paper with all the perfume available but they put check marks next to ones they recommend for YOU. Once you get to the perfume wall you smell a bunch of different ones, if you're overwhelmed they give you coffee beans to smell and you can step outside for fresh air. You circle on the paper which ones you like Then, it's time lol. This was extremely hard, but fun. You get to put the ones you picked on test strips and then see how they dry down and etc. And, you have to smell them all together to see if the notes you picked work together I will say, I was in heaven considering I collect perfume and very rare niche ones. And if you are a lover of DIY cosmetic experiences like the birthday girl who picked this for her birthday, you will love it Also, if you are sensitive to perfume, this place is NONTOXIC. It's all clean, vegan and nontoxic I will say, the whole experience was a 10/10. I don't think the perfume is very strong like ones you get at the store (because it's all clean and nontoxic. But, it's better to be safe) The only downside is, we paid 200 plus dollars for the engraving option (again, that package cost more) and the engraver was down. So, sadly we don't have our bottles engraved yet. But we've been keeping in contact with the staff and have a future date picked Overall it's a fun experience for a bunch of different occasions. Even bridal parties would love this. The birthday girl, Crystal and I had a blast. The place is also extremely clean

She was warm, thoughtful, and so generous with her time, even writing Nadia a handwritten note that made the day feel extra special. The experience is so much more than simply choosing a perfume. We started with a personality quiz, talked about our intentions and the mood we wanted our fragrances to represent, learned the story behind Elia and its founder, and then went through a personalized meditation before exploring different scents. From there, we connected what we liked back to our profiles and ultimately created our own custom fragrances. One of my favorite parts is that your scent is truly yours. Everyone creates something unique, so when someone compliments your fragrance, you know they aren't going to be wearing the exact same one. They also save your profile, which makes this a place I could see coming back to again and again. You might want something lighter for daytime, something completely different for an evening, or a fragrance that reflects a new mood or intention. It was such a meaningful one-on-one mother-daughter experience, but I could easily see this being amazing for a birthday group, girls' day, special occasion, or even team bonding. The space is large, beautifully designed, and the location is incredibly convenient. We finished with gorgeous personalized bottles, and I walked out feeling surprisingly empowered while also feeling so grateful for the experience with Nadia. I truly cannot believe this place isn't packed. I'll absolutely be sending friends here for special occasions. Huge thank you to Diandra for making Nadia's 13th birthday so memorable.
