We have been getting my husband's work boots here for the last three years. He gets one new pair a year not that they were out that quickly but he has a lot of debt through his job. The staff is always very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable if they do not have his size and sometimes he wears a wide they will see if other locations have it in stock and have it transported in. Returns have not been a problem and they're guidance into the knowledge of what is waterproof and tactical is great. They also give discount for military police and fire. We will continue to support them. We always try and support Oregon businesses. read more

I'm not sure what all the complaining is about. I went to this location twice to try on boots (tried on a ton) and both times I was helped and they had EVERY boot that I requested in all sizes I tried. And my feet are wide so the selection of wide boots was very good. This is the kind of customer service I love. People available for questions but not salesman. I had no issues and love the boots. Not sure what people expect now days, but if I have a question, I ask. I would rather not have people hounding me the entire time. The employees were there willing to help if I needed it. So I guess if you expect someone to telepathically know what boot you need and know what boot feels good on your foot, these guys might not be good. But if you want someone there to get you boots to try on and answer questions that you have, this is the spot. I will be back when I need boots. read more

So I am giving them a one star because I have too. I buy my husband danner boots every 3 months or so and I usually buy them at redwings however this time I decide to buy them from danner. I took my husbands boots back hoping to either get a new pair being that I bought them less than a month ago and he had only worn them 3 times the 3 days he worked prior to the holiday. Mind you these are "water proof and oil resistan" when I purchased them I was told that they where great for outdoor use specially for my husbands work since they are again water resistant, come to find out they are not water resistant at $380 imagine my surprise when I come to find out that they are not water resistant my husband came home with wet feet all 3 days he worn them. I decided to stop into danner and my husband explain the issue they then proceeded to tell him that the boots getting water in them and not being slip proof was not a manufacturing issue. Hhhmmm being that its exactly the opposite from what the sales person had told me I went in. Explained the same thing to the supervisor who then proceeded to tell me the biggest horses bullshit I have ever heard. The boots that are water resistant are not for outside wear and the soles are not meant to be worn in the outdoors.... excuse me what did u just say the boots I bought at 380 are indoor boots.. then why would they use a sales line for water and slip resistant? Anyway single most worst customer service experience. I just heard the weirdest exchange by one of the employees and a customer. I decided to walk out i was buying some boots for my brother who works in construction and by the complaints of this lady who ended up getting so frustrated she raised her voice and left the boots on the counter and just walked out. The two employees there just glared at eachoyher and by the comments made it sounded more like a race issue from the employees side and nothing to do with what the lady was complaining about. I must be the nicest human being on the planet. It is the only way I can figure that I great customer service at places that otherwise get poor marks in that regard. I went to Danner after being a customer for safety shoes for 10 years at the Red Wing Store in Beaverton. Go look at my review to get the info on that shit show. Anyway...walked into the store pretty much knowing what I wanted after reviewing their website. I was greeted by both the employees working the floor, even though they were with customers. Good. When the store manager saw me standing with my desired shoe in hand he excused himself from the customer he was helping and got me the size I needed, then got me two other sizes and another style when the first one didn't fit right, all while dealing with two other customers. Better. When none of them fit just right, the manager offered to check other locations and found me a pair in the style in the style and size I need at one of their Washington locations and promised he would have them in three days. Three days later I got the call that they were in. Due to work demands I was not able to get there until a few days later and they were still there, fit like a dream and are truly the most comfortable work shoes I have ever purchased. They even offer a discount to active duty military, veterans and union members. Travis and John did what so few businesses are able to do these days. They delivered exemplary customer service even when dealing with multiple customers. Thanks guys, I will be back. read more

They don't honor their warranty anymore don't buy Danners! Ive been wearing Danners for four years now because of their great warranty but apparently they don't honor it anymore never wearing Danners again you spend $300 on a pair of boots that only last 4 months! So now I get to wear boots that leak in Oregon all winter because I just spent all that money on these not that long ago so yeah you can keep your shitty quality boots I'll go somewhere that has better quality and honors their word! I live on a farm in Newberg Or. We have 9 months of rain here. I paid 380.00 for a pair of Danner boots at our local Wilco store in Newberg. They had their water tight gortex sock with 3- to 400 mils if gortex. After On ther 3rd season the sole was falling off and the gortex sock was leaking. I only wear these on the farm. I never take them on asphalt. I do however work in them setting posts and running equipment. I have two pair so I transfer back and forth with the boots I wear. I am so disappointed in Danner as this is new problem for them. Soles that separate and boots that leak have no place on my farm. I have not let them know as a year warranty on a 380.00 boot is so dumb it would reflect my stupidity if I were to buy more looser boots.. They don't carry anything above size 11 in many of the non work boots. Need a wide width? Forget it! Call ahead to see if they have your size. I thought being a Danner store that they would stock all the sizes. The sales person offered to order them for me but that would mean another 40 min drive when they come in. read more

We bought a pair of Danner Jack III boots for our daughter online but, given the necessity of breaking them in, weren't sure about the fit on her wider feet. We decided to consult the good folks at this Danner location for a proper fitting - and we're so glad we did. From the moment we walked through the door, the staff were super friendly. The man who helped us checked her sizing, offered her alternative sizes to try and be sure, and then gave her clear instructions for breaking in her boots without too much discomfort. We really appreciate how 100% personable and kind he was to our family. Our only regret is that we didn't get his name so we could write to the corporate office to tell them how much we appreciate the experience we had this evening (and that they ought to give him a raise for making lifetime customers). read more
