Delicious, fresh food and the friendliest people. The place doesn't look like much and you'll walk in to see pizza boxes stacked everywhere and a heated glass case with fried chicken in it. They have great daily specials available at reasonable prices. The food always tastes homemade. This is one of our regular mainstay solid restaurants because the food quality is consistently good and you won't break the bank.

I'd be embarrassed to say how many times a month I order pick up from Danny's, but their menu is so diverse and family/staff so engaging that they totally wipe out any guilt or shame I feel for eating 1,426 empanadas a lunar cycle. I added a picture of one of said empanadas, it is absolutely glorious. Oh, and the fried chicken?! Dope. The cheesesteak was actually good with some flavor, the beef wasn't an unseasoned goop of protein. Aaaand it came with fries! No one gives you fries! And they're consistently good! Danny's, ftw.

Family atmosphere with the crispiest crust on a delicious upside down pizza! I'm from North Jersey where the cheese is on top!

Oh, Danny Boy.... Why so unassuming? Why hidden in a forlorn strip of 20th Century retail excess? Why aren't you sharing your gift with the entire Tomato Pie craving world? The lights. The lights are calling...! Your T. Pie is among the best I have sampled in my pizza-loving life. It is in the local pantheon of greatness occupied only by a few other mozzarella souls - DeLo's, JoJo's, Ivy Tavern, Joey's, and a few others in the Mecca of the Pizza Universe, Brooklyn. Micro thin crust firm enough to hold the topside without a quiver. Sauce, chunky and mildly sweet with a hint of basil. Cheese hidden beneath with a gentle saltiness to balance the smiling acidity above. Not a single drop of oil on the aluminum tray despite a spritz of pressed olive applied as the final touch before reaching the oven. And, the sweet Italian sausage, home grown, and crumbled around the disk amply, with a wonderful aroma and fresh textured taste. Though you labor in obscurity, Danny, your artistry is not lost on those who treasure the magic only a steamy right out of the oven slice of heaven can provide.

What a freaking great pizza! This was my first Trenton tomato pie. Better than Frank Pepe's? Ahhh, apples and oranges. This pie is unique, and stands on its own; crispy thin crust, sharp cheese on the bottom, tangy crushed tomatoes on top. Comparisons with New Haven apizza would be misguided and wrong headed. I chose anchovies, sausage and mootz for my toppings. Large pizza with three toppings, and delivery, $23.00. Well done, Danny's, well done!

Pizza was good and the employees were friendly. It would have been nice to be offered plates when dinning with three little children. They offered us house bread and oil, it was delicious. There was hardly anyone there when we came in. There is no where to sit for groups. Each table only accommodates four, so our family of five was awkwardly sitting around a table. There were three people in the restaurant when we came in, but they left shortly after we ordered. The employees were cooking a lot of pizzas, so they must have had some going out for delivery. I would have given more stars, but again, offer plates when there are children eating.

Got a calzone and it was very good, and I'm Italian and have eaten at many pizza spots. This is a good place to try.

I do have to say that I live nearby, but have never ever in the dozens and dozens of orders had a problem with Delivery or an unpleasant or rude person. Food is consistently delicious. We always ask for the crust to be extra crispy and it always is..... They still have an amazing and interesting menu, especially for a little good old hole in the wall special pizza place I really feel bad that anyone's had a negative experience here, because I've never seen it and you're missing out on great fresh food because of a bad experience at a really great restaurant ....and one of the few that are still willing to deliver I don't think that a lot of people give a small mom and pop food business enough thought. They are still delivering. They handle issues immediately and they still deliver delicious food, but they do have to deal with a small staff --a small space --a great local reputation, which makes them very busy at many different times. Consider when you're complaining about the Delivery are you calling on a Friday night or Sunday afternoon during football? These all make a difference Nova is not sitting there waiting for you to place your call and put it ahead of everyone else, so that you get it quickly and just the way you want it PS. You may not think it's important....but, they are one of the few food delivery restaurants that actually deliver a large flat box .....so nothing is on top of anything else. And each item is marked. Sometimes you aren't sure what each item is for a group, so this can help and you can be sure Uncle Bob isn't sitting there chowing down the wrong Burger... yours! There isn't a cold dish on top of the hot pizza box. The cheese isn't all over the place or squashed to the lid. It just works so much better than one bag piled high with a lot of different foods and containers. I just ask that you give them another try.... you might be pleasantly surprised !! And before you post that dramatic or negative review, have you contacted the restaurant and what was there reaction to your issue?

I've been a long-time customer here, but recent experiences have been disappointing. In the past, when I received burnt calamari and asked for a replacement, I was met with annoyance and skepticism. I even brought the calamari back so there was no question about how inedible it was. Last night, I ordered eggplant parm with Thousand Island dressing, but received chicken parm with Italian dressing instead. When I called, a longtime worker asked if I wanted the correct order delivered. I said I'd pick it up myself so I wouldn't bog down their drivers or delay other customers. My boyfriend drove over to exchange the food, and that was it--no apology, no acknowledgment of the hassle, and no effort to make up for delaying our dinner. I wasn't looking for freebies, but a simple courtesy gesture or genuine apology would have gone a long way. To top it off, the replacement eggplant parm was a quarter of the size of the chicken parm I had just returned. Coincidence? I doubt it. I'm usually very understanding, but this lack of service means I won't be patronizing this business again.

It wasn't showing up on my account. I called the restaurant and they were able to find and confirm. I don't know if it's an Open Table glitch. They were so accommodating upon arrival when our party went from 9 people to 7. The staff was amazing and on top of everything. We ordered apps off the dining room menu but they let us order large pizzas instead of the 12" ones. We had calamari and bacon wrapped shrimp. I love that they offer the calamari in both fried and grilled. I was outvoted on the grilled but I have to say that the squid was perfectly cooked. Not chewy or fishy at all. Very tender. The breading was light and not greasy at all. The bacon wrapped shrimp were interesting. The shrimp were huge. They were drenched in BBQ sauce. I thought it was ok but I'm not sure about the flavor combo. We ordered a large plain and a large pepperoni. I thought the plain was delicious. The dough was good and not too much flop. The sauce was a bit sweet, which I like. The only issue is that the cheese and sauce didn't stick to the dough so it slid off while cutting. Overall, I think they did a great job with a large group during weekday lunch.
