We stopped by here on the way home from the football camp in Princeton. We noticed the pizza slices looked like they were NY style and definitely wanted to try. I wish we would've taken pictures. My husband ordered a Margherita pizza, I ordered a buffalo chicken salad with creamy Italian dressing, and my son ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a panini. They were all GREAT! The creamy Italian dressing was pretty good but a little thick. The salad tomatoes and cucumbers smelled so fresh and tasted amazing! My husband and son loved everything! I only didn't give them a 5 because there were some communication difficulties between us to the cashier and the cashier to the cook so one of our pizzas wasn't made. We waited for them to make it and then we weren't sure if we paid for it already or not, and the one guy said we hadn't but the one that rung us up had left. Our receipt was only the cash total amount for some reason and no items were listed. I think this place could really become something if they got the communication fixed. They could put ipads up front for people to order from or get someone to run the front area because these guys can cook some pizza!!!!! read more

I never noticed this tiny pizza parlor nestled at the end of a small strip center with only 4 shops, but my never ending search for the perfect tomato pie brought me here late last week as the clouds gathered beckoning rain. Although small in stature, the menu is large with the usual suspects to be found in an Italianesque joint that has to move fast and be creative to complete in a universe full of larger predators. When I walked in, I was greeted by a short man (from central casting), wearing a backward baseball cap and speaking with a warm Spanish accent. I asked if there were any slices of tomato pie available. He apologized for not having any at the ready, but immediately offered to make a personal size TP for me if I had 10 minutes to wait. Of course I did. I watched as he retrieved an aluminum dough container, peeled out the slowing rising mass and slapped it onto his cool granite countertop. Fingering, spreading, stretching, spinning, tossing it just enough to get it to the right size without over-manipulating it to toughen the finished product. He laid out the mozza neatly around the disk, and then flicked globs of chunky tomato sauce on top like he was Michelangelo in his abstract period. Satisfied, he slid his wooden long handled pizza mover underneath, turned, and gently shook it off onto the hot oven floor. About 8 minutes later he was walking toward my table with a steaming large plate on which sat my personal Tomato Pie. It was beautiful and its heat wave struck my nose and eyes at the same instant, causing me to catch my breath and shed a small tear. I picked up the first wedge and held it for a moment. It was straight and true, never wavering nor bending under the weight of the topside. The under carriage was beautifully scorched, but not burnt. First bite was amazing. My teeth cut through the tomato and cheese and felt the heat on my upper palate. My lower jaw clamped down, closing mid slice on a crisp firm crackery crust. Magnificent! I had intended to eat half and bring home the rest, but it was so perfectly balanced between taste, texture and eye-rolling excellence, that I knew it would lose something essential if I did not eat the whole thing at that moment. So, I did, and skipped dinner that night. It's hard to tell if this experience could be duplicated, or if I had just stumbled into a apex moment that was beyond everyone's ability to recreate. I just started working in the area and a coworker took me here. Nottingham Street seems like an area that time forgot, which all of the strip malls and homes having last been updated in what appears to be 1987. Nottingham Pizza has some great lunch specials for $7-8 that include fries and a soda. I enjoyed my cheesesteak and will definitely stop by here regularly for lunch in the future. read more

After seeing Gerald's review I was dying to try this place that I can easily walk to. But I strayed from his suggestion in 2 ways. Instead of personal size I opted for medium, and instead of eating in, I took out. I will be the first to admit that take out pizza is not my first choice. Even a 2 minute drive can impair the pie. But many people rely on takeout so maybe this review will be of service to them. I selected plain with garlic and waited inside while it was being made and baked. There are only about 4 tables so for most people take out or delivery is the preferred option. At 5 there were no other customers and only 1 phoned in order. My pie came out quickly and as I glanced at it being boxed up I knew this was not their best work. The cheese was not bubbling, but just barely melted, and the outer ridge of crust was not golden brown, but pale. It smelled great from the sauce and fresh garlic. At home I quickly heated up my oven and finished it off in there. Now the cheese was golden bubbly and the crust was gaining color. It was decent but not in Delo's league. Sauce thinner than I like but good flavor, too much cheese, and not crispy enough crust even after further baking. I would advise readers who saw Gerald's review to approach this place in the exact way. Personal pie eaten in house. I may return to do just that, but probably not very soon. 3.25 Yelps read more

UPDATE: so, I don't know if my first pizza from this restaurant was lightening in a bottle, but ordered again this weekend and was SUPER disappointed. Pizza was bland, very little sauce, crust was meh at best. NOT the perfect, heavenly bite of crisp and chew that the first pizza was. Couldn't be more disappointed, didn't even finish one slice. The first pie? Literally couldn't get enough. My guess? Do NOT order on weekends. Stick to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Personally I won't risk it again. I will try something else. After having our food delivered we opened the food and realized it was the wrong food-- another delivery driver pulled in with our real food so I tried to give him the food back and he said he didn't want it back because of COVID-19... 15 minutes later the other delivery driver came back and tried to pick it back up after we had opened it and touched it.. we told him that and he said he would go back and tell the owner-- then the owner called and said they were coming back to pick it up which he did and when he pulled out of our driveway he headed in the opposite direction of their restaurant to go and deliver it to the real customer... absolutely disgusting-- especially during A PANDEMIC! read more

Ordered a hoagie for myself and a bacon cheeseburger for my grandson. Looked at the clock and told my grandson I was going to get in the shower - the food should be here in about 1/2 hour. I called Nottingham Pizza and Deli for delivery at 11:30 am on a Monday morning. I ordered a personal pizza with mushrooms ($7.75) and an order of calamari ($9.99) according to the menu. When I asked what the total would be, the person tells me it would be $22.45. I said ok and hung up. About a second later it occurred to me that that didnt sound right so i called back. The same man answered the phone and when I asked if the prices had gone up, he started yelling. He had broken English and it was hard to understand what he was saying but basically he was yelling that the prices were the same, nothing went up, things are expensive, etc. When I asked for him to include a menu with updated prices with my order, he started yelling again about the fact that hes got 10,000 old menus and its too expensive to make new ones. I asked him how he came to that total? It should have been about $18.00 plus tax. He told me that there was a $1.50 delivery charge. That still would only come to $20.48. But, ok. I said that was fine because I just didnt feel like being yelled at anymore. About half an hour later, my food showed up. When i opened the bag that had the calamari in it, i noticed ketchup packets. I thought that was odd. I opened the box and could not believe what I saw. A few pieces of calamari on the bottom left of the box and the rest was FRENCH FRIES and a wilted STEAMING HOT SALAD of lettuce and tomatoes. WHAT IS THIS???? To be clear, ive ordered calamari from this establishment before. It was a big serving of calamari in a styrofoam box with lemon and sauce. NOT this mess. I immediately called and the SAME guy answers the phone. NOW I was mad. I asked him what in the world this disgusting mess was that he sent. He tells me he didnt make it and started yelling and screaming again. I explained to him that the last time I ordered this was not what I got, I didnt want french fries or this disgusting greasy hot salad. He started yelling again about things are expensive. I told him to send that delivery guy back immediately and i wanted my $25.00 back!! He tried to tell me that I would have to go there to bring the food back. I told him that if i didnt have my money back in 30 minutes id get the police involved. $25.00 for food that was misrepresented and disgusting. He yelled dont ever call here again!! I used to order from these guys online, and I don't do it any longer. I would order from them late at night when no other place was open and I was looking for a late meal after a long day at work. The last few times I have ordered, they told me that the items I wanted "Were out of stock." A couple times, I pressed and it turns out that they just never updated their online pricing and that certain items have jumped in price. When I told the person on the phone that this happens repeatedly, he was unapologetic and didn't seem to care, even though I ordered from them dozens of times in the past. I eventually canceled my last order, and told them I won't be doing business with them again. AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW, they still charged me anyway!!! Talk about unsavory business practices! I was infuriated when the charge went all the way through and was ready to storm into their store to have a heated argument with the manager/owner, but I realized that based upon who they have hired and permit to represent them, I would be wasting my time. I was excited to try a new place for pizza and wings. I placed my order through Yelp (Eatstreet - a company I've never had a single issue with.) So in past while using this app to order delivery, I would enter my address first. If it is not within the delivery zone, it tells you and will not let you move any further. You can't even view the menu. Nottingham's did not do this so I made the logical assumption that they had no problem delivering to me. So I place my order and pay (including delivery fee and 30% tip). 10 minutes later I get a call from Nottingham's: "we don't deliver there." He said within 2 miles. I guess it doesn't matter that I'm 1.9 miles away. Ignorant. So I placed an order, paid above and beyond what the food actually cost only to be told that not only will I not get my food, but now I need to contact Eatstreet to get a refund. Now it's 3 to 4 business days for a refund and I'm still hungry. I can't give zero stars? And it's too bad. For all I know the food could be delicious. Just found this place! WOW! Gave away all our pots, pans, and cookware, won't be needing them any longer. This place is fast, easy to order with explanations of each dish, and the flavor is excellent. No skimmping on the ingredients, not the cheap cheese like most places try to pass, the garlic on pizza is real, not powder, and always fresh and hot when it gets to my door..... can't write anymore, delivery man is at my door......clear off the couch, Storage Wars and a Nottingham Pizza fresh hot meal is waiting for me! read more

We discovered this place shortly after we moved to the area, couldn't have been happier with the first few times we ordered from them but it quickly went downhill, we ordered over the phone for delivery and when 40 min went by and we called back we were told that they "had no record" of our order and it would be another 45 min... ok, we had enjoyed the food the first few times and willing to give it another shot, today my wife ordered in for us while i was on my way home from work, she was told the weather was bad and that the expected time was 45-50 min, she immediately called back and asked to cancel the order, they tried to talk her into to keeping the order and when we explained that it was ok we would most likely order again this weekend she was hung up on... never again with this place, food is great but whoever picks up their phones makes it not worth it... abysmal customer service read more

I have been living in the Hamilton area for a year now and I have to say this is by far my favorite place to order from. When I first started going to Nottingham there was a new manager took over. I had not been impressed until the new management pumped new life into this establishment. I give Nottingham a five because for a hole in the wall deli, it is great! They are quick, nice, and the good has almost always been really good. Although calling in an order can be a little challenging at times, they always go out of their way to accommodate. This has become our go to for pizza but their lunch deals are great also. I also have to praise their salads. I have always been a meat and potatoes kind of guy so even suggesting a salad somewhere is a first for me, but their grilled chicken with house dressing is great! huge portion, great chicken and plenty of veggies, not just a bunch of lettuce. If you haven't given Nottingham a chance, or its been awhile, I suggest placing an order with them. enjoy! read more
