Cool Route 66 roadside vibe meets a Greek diner that also is an ice cream shop and has a variety of Trenton style tomato pies and good coffee too.

I Go for the Greek dishes. Or their Tomato Pies! Or their Italian entrees. Stay for their homemade desserts and soft serve ice cream!!! Casual BYO place. Serving all 3 meals each day! Plenty of free onsite parking!

It's 82 degrees outside tonight... so my bff and I stopped by for their famous peach ice cream! I was too late! All out! So I got a pistachio ice cream instead on a waffle cone. Refreshing. Great service! And Jordan was there so I am extra happy! Thank you for all your hard work.

This place has everything you want. Great food, and a great price, with great service. We had the lemon ricotta pancakes, which were huge and very flavorful. We at inside as it was a bit humid and threatening rain, and it has a quaint feeling in there. A great little place if you are visiting the Washington Crossing park.

Wow...The name describes it all...It's Nutts how good the french toast was. I had the peanut butter and banana stuffed french toast. It really is layered between the french toast (makes sense) but it is so delicious. I tasted the lemon ricotta pancakes and they have a very light flavor. Our server checked on us several times and made us feel welcome. If you are looking for a quaint restaurant, this is it.

I've driven by here so often that I think I just ignored it as a family casual ice cream spot. Several friends had mentioned it to me but I still didn't take notice. After enjoying some beverages at a nearby brewery I decided to stop on my way back homeward. My date was in agreement having been there once before. There is a nostalgic feel inside the cute red interior, it brought back thoughts of family vacations and some of the places we had been. There is also a lot of outdoor seating, some under open tents. Based on the reviews I knew to try the tomato pie. As somewhat of snob in this category, I still liked it. The crust was very thin and slightly sweet, sauce was good and the ratio of sauce to cheese was spot on. Would it replace my favs? No, but it doesn't have to with the large variety of other items on the menu. My date tried the vodka rig, and had them add shrimp to it, she enjoyed it too. We finished with ice cream that was better than average. Customer service was friendly and professional, and you can tell that this place gets busy by their demeanor and skills. As a family spot this has something for everybody, plus ice cream at the end! CASH or CHECK only, with an ATM on site. I've heard good things about the fried chicken, so I'll be returning......

We stopped there for dinner after a trip to Peddler's village to see the Christmas lights. We were a group of 8 and ordered a variety of dishes. Service was very good. Food came quickly and was decent. The price was reasonable. Overall, we were mostly happy with our experience.

Awesome Trenton-style tomato pie! Thin and crispy. Fried chicken is super good too! Highly recommend!

So after an 8 mile run along the Delaware my husband and I need a quick fuel and boy was it delicious! We sat outside and it was perfect. Our waitress was friendly and quick together us coffee and water. My husband had the 3 egg omelet with a side of bacon and I had the spinach and artichoke and feta omelet . Everything was delicious. Coffee was really good! Highly recommend. Definitely go back for the desserts, ice cream and to try the pizza! Only downfall I would say is that it's cash/ check only . ( who carries checks!) In the era of most people using cards, I would say that's a bit of an inconvenience but they do have an ATM .

Amazing service with Melissa. Wait til it's dessert time!

First time there and what a blast. If you are looking for casual dining either outside or inside and really good food and outstanding service, this is where you want to go. Lot's of good stuff and some annoying stuff. No reservations! No credit cards. No bar. We were a party of 4 on Saturday night and there were plenty of seating both indoors and outside. I learned to read many years ago so we brought cash and our own bottles. This place will not break the bank.$160 for the four of us and that includes our usual generous gratuity. We arrived at 6 PM and left around 9:30. You bring the food and we'll eat it!

Chocolate cake w pumpkin and peanut butter ice cream and whipped cream!

Mmmmmm just ate a mint chocolate chip hot fudge sundae!!!! Logan was nice and smiling! Stef, the owner, greets us whenever we are there and sits with us and we enjoy conversation. The place is always packed but Stef always gives us the VIP treatment! Customer service demonstrated 100%!!

So when I used to work in L'ville and could get Route 1 Diner delivered through Uber Eats it was a treat indeed. I often ordered the turkey Reuben, omelettes, BLTs, fish sandos, and quesadillas. All good but the actual standout here is the STEAK FRIES! They are fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside. They're the best steak fries by far and possibly a top 3 restaurant fry of all time for me. Even by delivery they arrive crisp. I've since left that job near the diner but when I find myself in the area I can't help but stop in to get the fries. I was actually hesitant to do so at first - kinda like lifting the curtain back on Oz. But there's no trickery here - the waitstaff is friendly in person, the food is hot and fresh, and incredibly priced. This diner is such a gem and I am admittedly jealous of people who live nearby. Def stop in - well worth the trip. Enjoy my pics!

Service was excellent. Old school diner servers with personality and the ability to have fun with their customers. Being Polish it was a surprise to find potato pancakes, kielbasa, and pierogi on the menu. We shared the potato pancake platter and the 2 eggs platter. Added side of scrapple. Where do I start? The potato pancakes were moist, sweet and full of fresh herbs. Definitely better than I ever made. You can choose sour cream or applesauce. I ordered the eggs over medium and they were cooked perfectly. The only thing is that they come with hash browns and toast. The only substitution for the hash browns was French fries. No fruit or vegetables. The reason we shared was because the egg and potato pancake platter with meat was only offered with bacon or sausage. I wanted scrapple. No complaints on any of the food at the table. It was a random stop but I definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Service was pretty basic. I don't know that it was bad but it certainly wasn't extraordinary. My Mom and Aunt both got salads. I got a hot dog plate and a side salad. My Aunt enjoyed her large house salad. My Mom really didn't like her Greek salad. I ended up eating most of it. They were VERY generous with the feta. Maybe too generous. I thought it was fine. I enjoyed my side salad. The hot dog was interesting. As described on the menu, it is two hot dogs, cut in half lengthwise, then griddled, then put on a hoagie roll. It was unusual. Not bad, just different. The hoagie roll was a bit chewier than a standard hot dog bun. The sauerkraut was good. I had asked for mustard too and they brough it on the side. Overall, an OK experience.
