I noticed how clean the kitchen was.

Such a cool little diner with an old skool feel to it. Came into Burlington for the day and got hungry. This place seemed good by the reviews. Ordered a double burger with totts. The burger was so good but it definitely was too big for me to finish. The tater tots were cooked perfectly also. The food was great and the service shines here. I can't remember my servers name but she told me that she does real estate on the side. She was excellent and kept checking in. I will definitely return. I would give this place six if I could.

Country style steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, fried okra, and Texas toast.

This was our first visit to Danny's Cafe, but definitely will not be our last! The food was delicious and seasoned very well. The pork chop was tender and juicy and the cucumber salad was light and refreshing. Our server took the time to speak with us for a few minutes, and she went throughly went over the menu and their daily offerings. The prices were really fair too. We'll be visiting again very soon!

Quick place to get a meal, food is good. Small but very quaint and friendly. Nice southern side dishes and desserts.

My husband and I stopped in on a Thursday evening around 7pm and the place was pretty full. We sat ourselves at a table in the back room, and I noticed how laid back the place was, which is something I really appreciate. Sadly, it seemed that the relaxed vibe extended a bit too far and reflected on their cleanliness, as I noticed all of the chair rails were dusty, the floors a bit littered, our table sticky, and the plastic menus in need of replacing. Service, however, was wonderful. Our waitress was friendly and pretty attentive given how busy she was. My husband was happy with their on tap beer selection, deciding on Red Oak ($3 on Thursdays!). I went with a margarita and it wasn't the best, but thankfully I didn't pay much for it since it was also on special. They were out of the southwestern egg rolls I initially ordered, so I ended up going with the Philly cheesesteak and homemade chips. I enjoyed the cheesesteak's fresh bread; plenty of tender meat, peppers, and onions; and gooey cheese. It could have used more mayonnaise, but it was still quite good. The homemade chips were tasty but undercooked; if I had been hungrier, I definitely would have returned them and asked for a fresh batch. My husband absolutely devoured the cheeseburger and fries he ordered. He said that it was one of the best burgers he's had in quite a while, and this is a guy who loves burgers and eats them often. I want to return to Piedmont Ale House in the future. I think there are some things they seem to do really well, namely burgers and beer at really reasonable prices!

I've been to a few First Watch locations in Ohio so when it came to Burlington I decided to go once…read morethe initial crowds died down since I didn't remember the food being that memorable. I went early one Saturday morning before the rush (crowds were appearing by the time we left at 9:30a) and were quickly seated in a booth by the window with lots of natural light. The restaurant was clean and well appointed with modern rustic decor and our waitress was super attentive and friendly. I did a bit of research before ordering to only order the most popular dishes in hope of making some memories this time around. I ordered the morning meditation juice which was a perfect mix of their fresh squeezed orange juice, lemon juice, beet juice, turmeric, ginger and agave nectar. Perfect way to start my morning in the sunlight. For my main breakfast entree I got the lemon ricotta pancakes which came with 2 HUGE pancakes the size of the plate. Even though the lemon curd appeared to be a dollop, it was enough for the whole dish since the lemon was very prominent to the point syrup was not needed. The berries were fresh and the pancakes were cooked to perfection (soft with lightly crispy edges). I also enjoyed a hot cup of table side coffee with my drink. I drink it black so I found the plain coffee to have a nice flavor and wasn't bitter at all. Now the million dollar bacon ehhhh.... I heard someone ask if they were thick, not at all. I found the honey to overpower the other seasonings so it was just basic bacon with honey in my opinion. Not worth the almost $7 price tag or the million in the name. If I am in the mood for a solidly good fresh breakfast in a nice atmosphere I'll be sure to stop by, but I wouldn't wait longer than 15 minutes for it.

The casual but polished ambiance fits perfectly into the charming, throwback small-town feel of downtown Graham.. which feels like something out of an earlier era with its historic courthouse, independent movie theater, and locally-owned boutiques and casual restaurants. On my last visit to PRESS, I had the seasonal Blue Ridge crepe ($16.50), which was excellent -- a savory, blue-tinged shell filled with a great combination of sweet maple syrup-glazed ham and tangy granny smith apples and topped by a scrambled "hurricane-style" egg and a spicy maple mustard drizzle. YUM! The beverage menu at PRESS is equally impressive, featuring everything from made-to-order hot and cold coffees and tea-based beverages to a carefully curated cocktail list. I really enjoyed the soy maple pecan latte.
