This was honestly one of the most bizarre experiences I've had at this Chili's. I ordered my steak medium but unfortunately it wasn't cooked to the correct temperature. I sent it back, and the second one still came out wrong. At that point I just decided not to continue trying to fix it. The shrimp was actually really good, and the mashed potatoes were solid, but the steak itself was disappointing. I will say the restaurant was very clean, which I always appreciate and our waitress was attentive and kind during the whole experience. My husband really enjoyed his meal, so not everything about the visit was negative. Also, the margarita of the month was delicious, so that was definitely a highlight. Overall, the way the steak situation was handled was a bit questionable, which made the experience feel pretty strange. Despite some reservations I have about changes the parent company that owns Chili's continue to make to the brand and offerings, I still love Chili's occasionally. This location is among the better ones when it comes to consistency and service. It doesn't always feel like they are operating on a skeleton crew like a lot of other locations. As always with Chili's, the food is good for fast-casual. Considering how eye-watering the prices of places like McDonald's have become these days, it's a downright bargain to be able to get a drink, an appetizer, and a burger for barely more than $10 at Chili's still. And that food is considerably better than something like McDonald's. Because of that, Chili's still has a place on my regularly visited list. read more

Since I was in the area (to pick up BBQ and Broasted Chicken from Hursey's for dinner), I decided on grabbing lunch here in the form of their meal deal - 3 For Me. Starting at $10.99 you get an appetizer, an entree, and an endless beverage. There are some upgrades in the choices that could increase the cost to as much as $17. I have tried most of the items available in this meal deal and have like all the choices. I chose the Chili, the Big QP, and a Coke on this visit. As usual the food was excellent as was the service. The Chili comes topped with shredded cheese and tortilla strips - it is flavorful but on the mild side, I would suggest a good dose of hot sauce if you prefer more heat. The Big QP is directly targeting McDonald's Quarter Pounder. It is 7.5 ounces vs 4 ounces for the QP, 85% more ground beef! The Big QP is topped with 2 slices of American Cheese, pickles, chopped onion, mustard, and ketchup. And it comes with FF - McDonald's QP goes for around $5.75 for the sandwich alone. This a very good burger, and the 3 For Me is a great meal deal. Chili's has definitely rebranded, and successfully so. They have some great appetizer options, and I would strongly recommend the Triple Dipper - choose from Mozzarella Sticks, SW Egg Rolls, Wings, Burger Bites, or Chicken Crispers, with a choice of 3 dipping sauce. The Buffalo (on the Mozzarella), Nashville Hot ( on the Chicken Crispers), and the Ranch ( on the SW Egg Rolls). This goes for $16.99, but can easily serve 3 people. Give this restaurant a try - it is no longer your Mamma's Chili. By the way, the BBQ and Chicken from Hursey's was as excellent as alway. We stopped here on our way to Asheville around 3:30 ish. We were seated almost as soon as soon as we walked in. The hubs and I split the Big Mouth Bites with fries and ordered the chips and salsa as an appetizer. The food was on point across the board. Our server was Patrick and he is the man. When your server notices your cup is less than half full and brings you another drink before you have to ask.. that's what I'm talking about. Great job Patrick! The atmosphere is casual and the restrooms are clean (well I only went to the women's ). Using my reward for chips and salsa our ticket was $20 and some change. We gave Patrick his tip in cash. Staff was very friendly but today the food was just ok. The ribs were hard and dry. The quesadilla was made with someone other than a tortilla. I asked for no sauce and had to wait to have it remade. The server apologized profusely but it wasn't her fault. It was not worth the wait. It was really bland and the not tortilla was really chalky. I got beans as a side and they had no flavor at all. We came here for my sister in laws birthday dinner. Our main waitress was excellent, I just want to make that known before I continue. She was constantly checking to see if we needed anything and kept all the drinks full. Now one thing that bothered me is the kids drinks that come with the kids meal are not free refills! They dont say that on the menu anywhere and we were not notified of that. Thankfully I noticed when they brought them out and they were actual juice boxes and the milk was in a box like the juice. We asked because of that and the server said they are not free refills. Normally at least in my experience they are and if not it indicates it somewhere. Also my son that ordered milk said it was warm when he got it. Now the food: we always get chips and salsa as an appetizer at any place that has it. We have been to chilis before and its usually good. The salsa was the same as always but the chips were so extremely salty this time that we just couldn't eat many. My other son who usually loves chips and salsa tried a couple and just said "these are way too salty, I cant eat them". My wife ordered the chicken, bacon quesadilla which was about 99% cheese and 1% chicken maybe some bacon. It was so heavy on the cheese it caused it to be very greasy and she only ate about 2-3 sections of the 8. My burger was a bacon burger. It was also extremely greasy but also assembly very poorly that it was falling apart when I got it. The meat was really overcooked and the bacon was burnt and charred. The rest of the food seemed ok and we enjoyed each other's company. My brother in law told them about my sister in laws birthday (and we had heard about 2-3 birthday songs since we had arrived) but they never did one for her. We even waited around a little until it was awkward and we ended up just leaving. We have definitely had much better experiences here and at other locations. It seems this location has gone down a bit the last couple times we have visited. Especially this time, not somewhere we are eager to go back to. Its also more of a loud bar atmosphere that it used to be, which isnt a problem just something to be aware of if you are considering going. read more

The greeter told us he didn't have anywhere else to put us even though there were MANY empty tables. He made us wait while he continued to seat other people in the areas that he claimed wasn't available! Helloooo Yelpers Chilies Decided to eat in on this trip. Outside was very clean. We were greeted upon entering & welcomed (this makes a difference, trust me) The restaurant was clean. Worst experience I've ever had at a Chili's. 1. After waiting longer than the quoted time, the host allowed people to cut in front of us without even putting them on the waiting list. That's unfair and completely unprofessional. 2. When I asked the host for napkins (since none were on my table), she ignored me. I asked again and instead of helping, she just turned around and walked away. Absolutely rude. If the staff can't handle basic customer service like keeping a waitlist in order or providing napkins, then management needs to step in. Went to there today with a big party my grandson wanted to eat there for his birthday. We called ahead but it was today. So no one had complained about the already 45 minute wait but as one in group I had to go to rest room. When I come back by the hostess station they were having a conversation about our party. Which was un called for and very inappropriate. Maybe they should watch or look around to see who is around when ya are talking bad!!!! The party did decide to leave and went to a restaurant down the street and was sitting within 5 minutes NO RESERVATION!!! Big mistake on your fault it would have been a big order and our family tips well because we also work with the public. Guess ya do not need the business.it is a shame one person can do that much to run away customers!!!! Went here last night on New Year's Eve and it was subpar. I love Chili's and this is probably the worst one I've been to but it was still an enjoyable experience. I usually get the fajitas in the 2 for 25 but since it was removed I ordered the chicken sandwich. The "secret sauce" is just honey mustard that tastes slightly off. I couldn't even stomach it. My boyfriend ordered the appetizer samples and the mozzarella sticks were empty (see pictures). Service was excellent though, I'd just recommend a different location. read more

Great place! I was surprised that we didn't wait at all on a busy Sunday afternoon. Our waitress was great and friendly. I recommend the Cilantro lime Carne Asada or the Baked Seafood Pasta. I usually end up with a to-go box most of the time I dine out because most restaurants plates are too big for one sitting. Though, I love that Chili's plate portions I feel are just right. Unfortunately today as bad as I wanted to try Chili's today I was not able to receive a seat do to the simple fact of not even getting past the host stand, CODY THE MOD DID NOT HANDLE THE SITUATION UP FRONT CORRECTLY I don't like posting bad reviews because I've been in food rushes BUT playing every position in a restaurant industry from a "HOH" heart of house cook to a server to a bartender to a MANAGER, it was a full mosh pit at the front door with not a sense of who's next in line the host was OVER WELEMD people were able to walk in and skip people who were waiting patiently I felt know one would speak up so I NICELY asked for MOD which was CODY he was immediately lost and flustered when it was our time to be sat it became a 25 min wait with in clear view it was 6/7 tables open in ONE section which is important to remember because if the tables were scattered that means those are tables in different servers sections these tables were in one servers section I was told but the host no my two top could not sit in the section CODY proceeded to tell me the server was busy with a section of 3 tables WOW I assume chilis are extremely under staffed and need serious help OR the have the wrong MOD and need to get a real manager in the building like myself who would never allow this to happen I proceeded to the bar and saw the tops weren't wiped down and crumbs were all over me and my girlfriend proceeded to simply leave so sorry yelp family I couldn't help on this one. Yesterday I ordered take out like I usually do but an item was missing. The girl at the front a young white female with long brown hair came to the front and I told her I was missing my side. She gave a very nasty and told me to hold on and that I wasn't the only customer she had to deal with. I waited 20min already with no service. I asked if she could check. She ignored me after looking me right in my face and left. I waited another 15min for her to tell me I would have to wait another 15mins I left and will never come back. She needs to learn how to respect customers better. My food was cold. The atmosphere was terrible because of her. Two other customers left after I did. They told me as we were leaving that she always has a bad attitude and that they wouldnt order from here again either. Please find a new take out person.
