After deciding to go ahead with the repair, he encouraged my husband to watch and learn. Aside from his professionalism, he was kind, honest and generous with his advice and even had a chance to "talk story" with my husband about family and other experiences. He is truly a local "gem" and we were lucky to have him to service our washer. We won't hesitate to call him again! AWESOME!!

My Samsung refrigerator needed repair and the warranty company uses Aloha Assist Services for there…read morerepairs. Problem: water freezing in the bottom of the ice tray. On or about 5/27/2026 the repairman comes to inspect and diagnose the problem. Diagnosis: water filter housing assembly needs replacing. Parts on order. 6/22/2026 repairman returns to do the repair. Unfortunately, he tried to shortcut the repair by cutting the old lines to the ice tray and water dispenser and leaving them in and splice in the new lines instead of running the new lines directly to the ice tray and water dispenser. He then installs the new unit and runs the lines through the back then cuts the new lines to match the lengths of the old lines and use a quick connector to splice them together. But, he cut the lines too short and now had to cut off a piece of the leftover new lines so he could splice in the old lines. Now I have 2 splices with 2 connectors on 2 lines. But wait, there's 1 one more line that runs to the ice tray that is smaller than the rest and he doesn't have a connector for it. He now has to run to Home Depot. An hour and a half later he returns with no connector. Can't find one anywhere. He then packs up his tools and tells me he has to order another part and leaves, directing me to call the office. Now I have an open line to the refrigerator and cannot turn on the cold water line the kitchen sink because it's connected to the refrigerator. If he had just done the job correctly by running the new lines directly to where they belonged, the job would've been completed and everybody would be happy. But now I'm stuck in this situation for another week, maybe more. Shame on them. That is Unprofessional and Unacceptable. Obviously, I don't recommend them.

When our 4 yr. old GE refrigerator from Best Buy started making an unusual high pitched "funnel"…read morenoise, I filed a warranty claim with the extended warranty provider, Assurant Service Protection Advantage, and was referred over to the exceptional people at A & E Appliance Inc. We're thankful our experience was 5-star from start to finish. As soon as I called them directly, they appointed a technician to visit us within less than 48 hours later. On 01/14, Kyle showed up at the scheduled time slot to evaluate the issue and proceed with ordering the replacement part. He was friendly, professional and courteous, but most of all, he immediately knew exactly what the problem was. As he predicted, the replacement part arrived within 10-14 days and someone from A & E promptly contacted us on Day 9. The repair took place a few days later on 01/26. To our pleasant surprise, the owner himself - Aaron Silva - showed up and within 30 minutes everything was running perfectly. Aaron was awesome and such a wealth of experience and expertise in his line of profession. It's a blessing to personally meet wonderful local business owners like Aaron and his staff who are dedicated to excellence and have a heart for helping people. Plus, our extended warranty plan covered all the charges. It's important to note that A & E Appliance Inc. is not the same as A & E Factory Service.

You can also tell by how they reply to people's reviews how unprofessional they are…read more Firstly when I spoke to Michelle or Natalie on the phone she said a free inspection and all of a sudden after Geno left, I called them for the full estimate and she said $845, but the inspection from earlier is $225 and would go towards the estimated $845 repair, That's where I was very confused. Geno all he did in the max 10-15 minutes he was even here, all he did was look at the top of my grandmas fridge, added refridgerant (without my consent) , unplugged our fridge, told us to defrost it with the doors open. Didn't even ask me in advance if I wanted to continue and said "I just jumped into it" as in didn't review anything. I get that our fridge needs work on but other companies are saying everything was done wrong. They said "To leave the fridge on and to diagnose it, there was no need to remove all the food and unplug it", Also 5 other companies said this is not a good company and to charge $225 is a lot compared to $150. Everything seemed every rushed and as if he needed to get to where ever to help out another technician with the phone calls he was getting while at my house. Geno left, he was on a phone 2 phone calls and it seemed like he was needed to go, he said he will be back tomorrow to figure it out, SO how are you quoting me $845 without diagnosing? This is crazy. I will fight to get the $225 inspection fee off. Wish I read the yelp reviews since I am a yelp elite, I should've known better, I browsed from the internet and trusted google reviews. If you want honest reviews check them out on yelp, they are going through the same exact thing as I am.
