I'm not an appliance technician but wouldn't have this been realized during his diagnosis? I thanked him for his service and based on his advice decided to purchase a washer instead. Wanted to find a different place and found Small Engine Clinic on Yelp that's located across the street from Waimalu Shopping Center...so close to where we live which is already a plus. We found out that they do work on Tru-Cut so they said we could drop it off anytime that day. When we dropped it off, he informed us that it'll take about a week...it took a couple of days! Yay!! About a week or 2 after we got it back and first time using it, my husband was cutting grass for about 45 minutes when it cut off. He couldn't start it again so he had to use the weed wacker. He called Small Engine Clinic and explained what happened. They asked him if he could drop it off again. They called 2 days later to pick it up. They informed him that they ran the lawn mower for an hour and it didn't cut off. Not sure if anything else was done but so far, he used the lawn mower twice and it only cut off once but he could start it again. Yay! This place is a family-owned business, nice, helpful and accommodating. We're happy with their service!

We were referred to Wada's. We made contact and was in touch with Gordon. We told him the problem, he went online right away and checked for the part. Turned out there were only 2 of those parts on the entire island. He told us he will go and pick up the part before coming. He showed up in the afternoon, took a look at the problem assembly (water feed to the dispenser and ice maker) and went to work. Within 20 minutes, the source of our problem was fixed. I plan to also report this business to BBB (Better Business Bureau.) My first experience with AAR was above average as Pono the diagnoser and Chris the technician sufficiently fixed our stove. However when I called AAR to fix our leaky washer this was when the problems started. Chris came to diagnose our leaky washer back in October '21. In November we received a diagnosis and bill. Since November, every few weeks I've been calling AAR's office and Chris. The main office never returned my calls (after more than a dozen messages left,) and Chris kept giving me the go around that the parts were ordered but delayed. Fast forward early March '22. I talked to Chris and he said that the office misplaced my diagnosis and didn't have our files in their system. Chris promised that he would follow up with the office and have them call me back. Well; it is end of March and I am no longer receiving calls / text messages back from Chris. This is a business that will completely ghost their customers, even returning ones. Take your business elsewhere as Ali'i doesn't seem to care following up with their customers even their customers have waited months and months on end.
