This is an oldie and consistent goodie in ATL! Years have passed since I came here but it was a pleasure to go back. I was meeting a colleague after work for happy hour and possibly to have a cigar. This location is optimal because you can smoke inside the cigar lounge or outside on the patio. Also, parking is FREE in the Shops Around Lenox lot. Servers are top tier by greeting each guest and quickly bringing water. The happy hour menu is some of the fan favorites and drinks at a discount. It's M-F after work and they have a late night hour from 10-11 PM (except weekends). You can't beat that! I had a berry cocktail and shared the chicken eggrolls and blackened shrimp and salmon. Small bites but big flavors! If you're avoiding carbs the blackened fish is the way to go. I hear the steaks are amazing as well. I'll be stopping here more often when I'm in Buckhead. The humidor is fully stocked and reasonably priced sticks. Check it out when you're at Lenox Mall and avoid the trendy spots. read more

I've honestly been coming here off and on for years and the energy is always welcoming and on point. It's right in the heart of Buckhead so it's a beautiful scene but I tried the Rainbow Trout with Lemon Sauce and Capers w Spinach and Mash Potatoes and it was delicious! My bartender Taylor was awesome and suggested to have it lightly blackened and it was sooo good. I was attending a business conference at The Westin and Dantanna's was literally right there so we just walked here to grab some lunch. We decided on dining outside and the outside area was nice. Our servers were really nice. Our food came out in a timely manner. I ordered lemon pepper wings and fries...it was ok nothing spectacular. I would definitely go back to order something different. It was my first time here and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to experience the amazing customer service and great food! I'm sad to pass on the bad news.... they will be closing there doors for good December 5(don't hold me to the day... a day before or after). It's located on the edge of a shopping plaza next to Lenox Mall. If you go before they close.... DO NOT stay parked over there before or after you eat, trying to go to the mall because you will get BOOTED. There is a outside seating area, during the fall months they have heaters. Walking in it gives the old school pub feel. We sat in the bar area, which is pretty spacious and good tv placement, even 2 at each ends of the bar. Our server was outstanding and had been with them for years and it showed. I hate I can't remember her name but she was uplifting, really sweet, and knew that menu backwards and forwards... so her recommendations where spot on. So came here during a week day afternoon. In buckhead but because the time of day it wasn't horrible with parking. It was a large dining area , the back is the cigar part/ outdoor area. I didn't want to smoke so we opted for the middle dining area. We were promptly greeted and our waiter was very attentive. Now we got the crab claws /fingers idk why they aren't on the menu but they are amazing. I got a salad with Mac and cheese , guest got chicken both were great both were fresh amazing. Late and tired. Didn't want to wait hours for a table at a Buckhead restaurant, stopped by with a coworker. We were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. Nervous that was a bad sign, but quickly rethought that with the ahi tuna poke with avocado and mango. It was good. Ordered a whole flounder, which was fried. Tasty with a nice presentation. I've been here years ago. And recently went here yesterday. And all I can say is wow. This place did not lose its value and good food. The employees are still amazing and well versed in the menu. The menu has a few changes but still amazing. This time I ordered a filet mignon and it was delicious. It came with two sides which I picked sautéed spinach and baked potato. Also, they were sweet to make me a non alcoholic mojito which i was craving. My husband ordered a flank steak which was amazing. My son fell asleep and didn't eat anything but woke up for dessert. We celebrated his bday early and it was a blast. The restaurant is set up in a glamorized bar style and also has cigar shop and cigar smoking area in the front. Love the stores around it and the mall in the area as well. This is a great choice if you like halal meat options. They have halal meat for this interested. There was an event listed online which turned out to just Eva promotion, that's brough me and my freind here. When we arrived the hostess at the stand didn't know what we're were talking about nor acknowledged us for a few minutes. This left a bad impression starting off but we let it go. We were then sat outside where they have a smocking and no smocking section. Our server was great and very attentive. We decided not to eat there at the moment but did order the drink special they had. There was a special floral drink that was different to say the least. The notes of floral were definitely present, but neither of us are big gun drinkers so it was hard to enjoy fully. The experience was decent and will give it another try. So I only came for drinks so I can only speak on that. But they make a pretty okay old-fashioned. Not the best but it's actually pretty decent honestly. Me and the rest of the fellows sat at the bar area. It took a minute for us to get a servant when she came over, she was very attentive. The place is bigger than it looks. You coming a mall parking lot but the building itself has a lot of areas that this restaurant covers. You'll have some fine dining on the inside, on the other side of the building you will have the bar area. The bar area has plenty of TVs. And then you will go outside and that's the cigar area. It's a covered area that you can use to smoke and watch TV without having to worry about ventilation. They have heaters if you need those as well. Overall it's a decent spot. You can watch the game here if you wanted to or you can take your partner on a nice steakhouse or seafood date as well. It's pretty versatile. read more

Popped in after shopping and hadn't been here since before the pandemic. It was a Sunday afternoon, party of 2 and we were seated quickly. We ordered the wings, a steak and lamb chops. The food was really good. Perfectly cooked lemon pepper wings, honestly better than the famous wing joints we have in ATL. The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned, as was the steak. This is my go to spot for when I want to watch a sports game. I usually sit at the bar and all the servers are great. Taylor and Jas took care of me at the bar. The drinks are really great and so is the food. I recommend the crab fingers. They're not on the menu but I order them blackened. The gumbo is different but good. It's more of a gravy type. The customer service has pretty much always been hit or miss, but when it good, it's great! And it never hurts that the food is almost always on point. I tried Dantanna's on a recent trip to Atlanta. Overall, the ambiance was great. Service was a bit slow, but not unexpected for a steakhouse. The food was good, but for the price, I thought the quality would be higher. I ordered a medium ribeye steak, and it was closer to well done and was a bit too chewy. The cheese in the macaroni and cheese was also not melted all the way. The small details could've been better. The Cajun chicken egg rolls and brownie dessert were both great. All this being said, I know this is a gem for anyone eating halal, with multiple options on the menu being halal and accessible. In that sense, it's a great option for anyone local. Dantannas is always a good call for me, especially when I'm at the mall & i need a wine me down! Chris is excellent behind the bar & also friendly! Yesterday i had James as my waiter & he was great! I ordered my usual crab claws blackened, the chicken egg rolls & i also ordered a side Caesar salad! I have also tried the salon/lobster with creole sauce & mashed potatoes with broccoli & that was also a 10/10. Came here Saturday to watch the game with my brothers. The server was named Percy. His personality was very dry. Definitely didn't seem like he wanted to be there or wait on us. It came with sauce and blue cheese crumbles on the side. My other brother decided after seeing the food he wanted the same. However his came with blue cheese and sauce on it. Very disappointing. The service was awful. The hostess had a very bad attitude. We asked to be move to a booth and they made us fell like we were inconveniencing them. After a 5 minute huddle at the front desk we were told that we would not be allowed to switch to a booth. We then told the hostess everything was fine. One minute later the manager came to our table asking us why we wanted to speak to her. I thought to myself WTF because we never ask to speak to the manager. So I told the manager that the hostess was a liar. I then asked the manager to speak to the hostess but my request was denied. I understand the importance of service workers and left a 18% tip. I do not see going back to Dantannas anytime soon. read more

Our group of 11 decided to try this restaurant while visiting the Atlanta area for a convention. We initially were told that we would have a 30 minute wait which was not a problem for us. We didn't have a reservation and we had a large party. Well the 30minutes wait turned into a 5 minute wait! Nice!! We had a very attentive waitress who was knowledgeable about the menu. Unfortunately our food came out very slow and certain items were forgotten. The manager did come out and tried to make amends explaining that the kitchen was busy. The food that was either not liked or not received by certain members of my group was removed from the bill. Speaking of the food it was hit or miss depending on who you asked. The blacken crab claws were definitely a hit and I enjoyed the caprese salad. The sirloin burger for me was good. I give this place 3 stars for effort but the experience was just so so. read more

Came with a group of friends for my friend's birthday celebration around the time of maybe late lunch. I say that to say, it was pretty empty besides a few business lunches going on so we were quickly seated and served. I got the crispy jumbo fried shrimp (really wanted the beer-battered shrimp but didn't see them on the menu due to so many changes ) and definitely wasn't disappointed in the choice! The shrimp were large, crispy and well complimented by the sauces provided (can't remember what kind the yellow one was). I've also never ordered sweet potato fries from a restaurant, so those were definitely a highlight for me. They were slightly sweet, but delicious- I didn't want to stop eating them! Also, our waiter was also very kind, attentive, and was honest in his recommendations! I DID take off one star, because I wasn't a fan of the bacon braised kale.. not sure what I was expecting but a vinegary taste reminiscent of collard greens was not it. Wouldn't get those again. this was my first time here and i will most definitely be returning!! me and my friend sat at the very clean bar with no wait around 6pm, and a quick friendly greeting from Darius and Jasmine. we both started with the Raven's Refresher which is a delicious tequila cocktail and the Crab Fingers which we literally devoured in minutes. Poor service, most food is fried and greasy. Waiter automatically charged 20% gratuity (for a party of 2), thus had to ask to remove. Do not recommend this place at all. Update 3/2/25: Manager claims holiday weekends the automatic charge of 20% gratuity is to ensure staff is fairly compensated. No wonder why they have horrible service. Staff engaged in some short convo with us at the bar and we shared some laughs. We ordered Cajun egg rolls and crab fingers for starters. For our main we ordered Flank Steak with loaded mash & spinach, and the Seared Trout with a loaded baked potato. There was room for dessert, so we ordered the bread pudding. The meal was hot and hit the spot. The bread pudding is delicious and a must try! I like this place for a good meal in the neighborhood and when you want to be social. Unfortunately throughout our dining we had to wave down our waiter to order & to get our check because she was chatting with her friends that came to dine in as well. My husband & I love crab fingers so we ordered the sautéed one after I asked our waiter if it was similar to Pappadeaux crab fingers to which she said yes. These crab fingers were nothing compared to Pappadeaux as they were over cooked and lacked flavor. My husband got the NC Rainbow Trout and it lacked flavor as well. We joked that the only thing we enjoyed from our table was his loaded mash potatoes and my French fries. Good thing we weren't starving that night. It may take us another 6-7 years to check out this restaurant but hopefully we have a better food tasting experience in the future. read more

This is one of my favorite spots in town. The majority of the food they serve is delicious, the service is good, and the drinks are always on point. Over the years, I have had a variety of things to eat and drink including, martinis, wine, salads, salmon dishes, pasta dishes, steaks, crab fingers, desserts, you name it! I will say that since this restaurant is branded as a steakhouse, prices tend to be a bit steep so definitely keep that in mind. Minus 1 star because there are a few menu items I have tried that just consistently miss the mark (including the fish and vegetables "soup of the season" that seemed to have lasted for 2 years). read more
