Nothing overly fancy or a ton of extras--we just got it with lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese, and enjoyed it. Good if you're ever craving a simple, classic burger. We also tried the pizza, and although it wasn't really to my taste, I could definitely see it being good for cheese lovers. For pizza, I'm someone who likes a higher ratio of sauce to cheese, and this was way too cheese heavy for me. The crust was okay and the toppings were plentiful. They also have a great outdoor patio that would be perfect for bigger parties, and a projector outside for the games too. That said, Damen Bar is actually two bars in one, with each section having a vibe of its own. When we first arrived, the front part had more chill/lounge feel to it with music to match. Meanwhile the back bar had more of club feel to it with music to match. Add to that, there is section in between the two that contains some unique bench seating plus a shuffleboard. Also, regarding the music, the 'TouchTunes' app is supported here. Both sides are small and intimate but as the evening turns to night, they fill up with great people and energy. Both bars are fully stocked and have some amazing staff who are more than capable of meeting the beverage demand. Add to that, the prices are just right. Note, they do not serve food but outside food is welcome. Nestled in West Town on the corner of what appears to be a very chill neighborhood, Damen Bar should be on everyone's list to check out.
